My 2018 Lariat has the column console shifter and I like it, but I also had a ‘22 loaner with the folding console shifter and love the flip forward feature. However, there were days where the shifter would rattle and there was nothing I could do. Because of that, the column mounting is brilliant.
Yeah, the all digital is fine n dandy until the screen stops working like in my Ranger lol. Thankfully there is a hard reset button combo to press that gets it working again till the backorder part comes in.
The real pisser is that you can’t get the Torsen front diff on the Tremor as a stand alone option for ‘24, you have to option the top trim level for about $11,000! 😡
I like the looks, but why did Ford not give the Tremor the PowerBoost Hybrid option?! It's not available in the 2024 Configurator with the Tremor. The Pro Access tailgate is also not available in the Configurator.
The Tremor grill looks okay but the ligts are a big disappointment. Looks like a work truck trim but has the platinum price point. It makes it look like a low cheap trim vs menacing like the rebel, AT4, TRD Pro, and the trail boss.
ford is cost cutting the f150 line to save them some money.. lots of variations removed for 2024 Buuttt comes with 12 inch screen and standard led highlights and more on all models
What they need to do is get rid of the column and console shifters and go with simple space saving buttons. Older traditional new truck customers are really stuck in the past and hate modern features especially big infotainment screens but nice to see this feature now standard.
So, where are all the 2024 Tremors? Sitting on some lot in Dearborn, Michigan, waiting to be fixed instead of shipping them to dealers and then have recalls for them?
Made the 24's a Lot pricier, especially when you try to compare 22 and 23's. :(. nice some models have the ability to use the food tray while driving. haha. great video and seeing the tremor getting dirty !
When I go price it out it won’t let you order the hard tonneau with the bed divider it ask you to remove the bed divider. It shows it on your demo truck? Anyone have any idea?
After seeing the 2024 I went and picked up a 2023. The headlights on the 2024 are a disappointment. The winch looks really out of place. It should have been hidden like on the f-250. From what I understand the camera package on the 2024's are going to be subscription. The color selection for 2024 is another letdown.
Im sorry but they totally ruined the Tremor for me.. the front head lights with no day time running LED's the tail lights, the stupid bed with the ugly lines. what a shame
I like Ford…. But I have to shake my head at the taillights that look like something from the 70’s. They just don’t make sense in terms of style. The new tailgate…. I really like the GM tailgate better. I was hopeful that Ford might steal that design and improve upon it if possible. This tailgate just seems like a quick inexpensive design to say “hey we have a cool tailgate to”. As far as looks, it looks pretty terrible on anything other than black.. 4 vertical seems I really really dislike the new platinum and platinum plus or what ever they’re calling it. Might as just as well kept the name limited. The 2013 platinum had two super nice interiors and if you wanted a light color you could get the limited. But the platinum now is an all black interior and blacked out exterior or you have to get a light color interior in order to get the platinum finish’s on the exterior. The biggest problem is price. I make 150,000 a year and can’t afford a loaded F-150 and truthfully can’t afford a loaded XLT. I’ll just keep driving my 07’king ranch til it’s a rust pile.
Damn Ford copying RAM tailgate. GMC,Chevy, RAM and Honda all came out with thier own idea for tailgate and Ford was left behind. We need an idea quickly. 😂😂😂😂😂
From practical standpoint and using a truck for work the f150 fits the need . The prices are outrageous though
Totally agree the prices are crazy and then don’t forget dealer markup and also high interest rates
yup more overpriced trucks
@Troy342 if you get 6 Ft configuration that would be useful tailgate no?
The older tremor looks so much better.
The front headlights are cheap LED reflectors, not even the projector beam LEDs and did you see that tailgate absolutely horrendous😂

I wish you'd of spent more time on the king ranch. I'd like to see what the secondary color actually looked like.
Please show the payload stickers on the trucks you review, it is nice to see what numbers the trucks are capable of as optioned.

Seems like a no-brainer. 🤷🏼♂️ Ultimate overlanding platform
Best part of this video 2:43 - "favourite spot..in the rear" lol!
Hope not a single one is sold off the lot and every dealership charging insane prices is stuck with inventory.
Great finale with the Tremor front end slipping sideways...

Is that bed cover on the tremor completely water tight, doesn't leak, ever?
Oof… that winch mount looks rough. The ZR2 Bison and other AEV bumper’s for GM with their hidden winches look so, so much better in comparison.
Do the different shocks on the King Ranch make it ride smoother than the other models? Can you tell the difference going down a rough road?
Love the 2024 F150. Sweet truck
So, where are all the 2024 Tremors? Sitting on some lot in Dearborn, Michigan, waiting to be fixed instead of shipping them to dealers and then have recalls for them?
Looks really good!
Made the 24's a Lot pricier, especially when you try to compare 22 and 23's. :(. nice some models have the ability to use the food tray while driving. haha. great video and seeing the tremor getting dirty !
External top mounted winch is probably ? because there’s a turbo intercooler down low behind bumper
The chrome package grill on the XLT looks odd being mostly black and only a chrome strip through the middle.
The headlights on the Tremor & XLT ah I don't know?. maybe I'll warm up to them but as at now am "on the fence".
If they had the lariat trim level be nice to here a bit more on that trim level.
77k for tremor 402a. Crazy. Btw the new tailgate is not available yet.
When will Ford start building the F150 with the pro access tailgate, any model with it?
Love that new grill.
I'll bet that tailgate on the Tremor for replacement costs is over $7000 usd. Bonkers.
Might be an unpopular opinion, but the new front ends are hideous IMO. 😢
They look a whole lot better than those butt ugly front ends on the GM's.
Production date for King Ranch/ 2024
They need an RCSB 122" coyote Tremor!
You guys think the column shifter on the XLT is cool? Seriously? It's like driving your Dad's truck.
Some of us grew up driving those.
You might be more interested in the Cybertruck with its on screen shifter. Great for the new generation.
no 5.0L for the King Ranch and as for someone that has bought King ranch Trucks since the 1st came out it is very disappointing.
I’d buy the f150 for the new tailgate
Good looking truck..
When I go price it out it won’t let you order the hard tonneau with the bed divider it ask you to remove the bed divider. It shows it on your demo truck? Anyone have any idea?
Sorry I think the 2025 Ram Rebel looks much better
That winch looks tacked on and cartoonish.
That's weird. When i configure one, they dont allow the bed cover with the bed devider
Who knows, could be a custom setup for the show.
I will wait until the Ford lots are full of trucks they can't sell. They'll have no choice to cut the prices. Hopefully that happens.
Too. Damn. Expensive. Ford.
I've always found the King Ranch versions of the F-150 to be a big step down aesthetically.
Your absolutely 100% correct, it's a step down from the Platinum but nicer looking for 2024.
Performance ind durability it's what matters not upgrades
I'm sorry, but column shifters are trash, I don't know why they are bringing that back.
Ford doesn’t have any ranger for USA
It does.
Shame that no one except wealthy people will be able to buy them.
Then go buy a Tundra.

The F150 will soon be a luxury brand. Only very wealthy people will be able to afford even the basic models. Too bad. Ford is making a huge mistake.
I wouldn’t get it just because of that gas ass tailgate
The ford digital screens are ugly. They look like video games.
all this for a measly 90k
Damn Ford copying RAM tailgate.
GMC,Chevy, RAM and Honda all came out with thier own idea for tailgate and Ford was left behind.
We need an idea quickly. 😂😂😂😂😂
Ford invented the tailgate and the truck. 🤦🏻
These 2024s are ugly as hell. The 23s were so nice looking, only other gen i love that isnt obs is the 18-20s.
Theydid away with the xlt on a reg cab short bed. Only xl, only 5.0 and no race red. Bonehead move ford
Goofy shifter? stop the bs, that's what we like and you know it
#REALMENPREFERCOLUMNSHIFT :p
@@TexasTruckChannel only if it is 3 speed
That grill is ugly as hell
