He does some interesting collaborations. Two current ones that are audio only are an R&B number, "Sweet Symphony" with Joy Oladokun and "Say You're Sorry" with Pink on her new album. Incidentally, I believe "Tennessee Whiskey" (arguably his best known song) has recently been certified Diamond by RIAA. (Someone correct me if it's still at one of the multi-platinum levels.) The guy who was crying was Nick Sirianni, The head coach of the Philadelphia Eagles. As an American, who not only lives in Pennsylvania, but 40 minutes from Philadelphia and a die-hard Eagles fan, when I watched this live, I was sobbing myself. This was one of the most intimate versions of our national anthem that I've ever heard in my entire life. Also if you want to see something patriotic, watch the world series for baseball. Great reaction. A couple of my favorites from him are "When the Stars Come Out" and "What Are You Listening To", both of these are best with live performances. The recorded versions of his music just lack that something extra he brings to his live performances.
I can only add to what your other commenters have said by saying that the All Women Fly-over was in commemoration of 50 years of women pilots in the U.S. Navy.
He's singing about the flag, so this is why there is a giant flag on the field as well as the screens. You may not know, the "Star Spangled Banner" is the American Flag. It is an emotional song, and Chris Stapleton performed it beautifully, just him and his guitar.
Probably in comments below but also an all female flyover. Chris Stapleton does not fit into normal genres, when you expect notes to go one way he goes another way. Brilliant

Chris isn't a country singer really. I guess people say that because of his look? The guy was crying mainly because he is a coach whose team made it to the Super Bowl. But I would have cried if I was there! So powerful. Also, we didn't used to plaster the flag on anything. Maybe I'm confused, but I feel like it used to be disrespectful to wear the flag. After September 11, that is when it really started to boom, and for good reason. We had to show the world we were a united front. And now with the way things are and the hate people are showing America, it only continues to grow. Just because the entire world knows our history, they can throw stones but let's look at you. Every country must have something dark in their past. Most of us are not the Karen's you see in videos. Most of that stuff is people trying to go viral. I would say the most patriotic day is Veteren's Day. And the 4th of July. Good look with your channel!
Mistake.... No one should interrupt when any anthem is being played....it's disrespectful. You should have let it run through uninterrupted, then gone back and run it again to add your comments. Stopping this amazing performance to say he can sing is something that could have waited, and should have waited. I don't think you'd find many Americans interrupting someone singing God Save the King b/c they have to immediately comment on the performer's voice.

After the game is over everyone goes back to the horribly divided country we are. I hate the division. You English are so much more polite…about everything.
