Min53.00 dedicating objects. I had a friend who was a butcher at the local supermarket. There was a warlock who came in periodically to buy bones for his rituals. The butcher was born again and didn't want to sell bones to this warlock any more but had to because of his job. SO he would take the bones back into the freezer and pray over them and then sell them to the warlock. The warlock began to complain that the bones were not working anymore in his rituals. Jesus is king!

Moved into a rental home in Oklahoma in the early '80's. - I was a Baptist at the time. I had read previously, to pray and dedicate the house to the Lord. While I was waiting for the moving truck, I did this, unbeknownst to anyone else. Lovely home, lovely landlords. Every time I went to pay rent they would ask "is everything okay" but kind of in a weird way. After about five years they told us there were ghosts in the house. We had never encountered them. I asked around and found out most of the neighborhood had them. (it was supposedly an old Indian burial ground) It freaked me out and I wanted to move but thought, we never had problems and we had cheap rent for a lovely home so I was convinced what I had done had been honored by the Lord.

I’m a military brat. We moved every 2/3 years of my childhood. My Dad would always insist to pray a blessing and spend the night in a new home before the fam joined him. The practice was cute, chivalrous and harmless so no one really objected. When we moved into base housing at Wright Patterson in 1979 things got jumbled and became a mess with our household stuff being shipped and we ended up taking possession of the house early. My Mom, siblings and I were in the house when my Dad started ‘house cleaning’. We heard a clanging sound followed by the window breaking from the inside out. It wasn’t a limb falling or a bird flying into it. It came from inside the room we were in. My dad commanded us to pray for the Holy Spirt protection while he rebuked it in Jesus name. It was the first and only time I’ve had a supernatural experience and it was also the day I asked for salvation. That’s my salvation story.
Nope, never had a problem in the house afterwards.

About 15 years ago I was reading Derek Prince and I stopped and asked the Lord to reveal anything in our home that was demonic, occultic etc.. About 20 minutes later I remembered a box in the attic that had memorabilia from my high school and college years. I hadn’t touched that box in decades except twice when we moved so I was certain it was the Lord directing me to it in response to my prayer.
When I opened the box there were two things I had bought in Greenwich Village, in New York City in the summer of 1968. Back then it was all hippies, pagan spirituality and drugs. One was a container of incense. The other was an amulet with an astrological sign corresponding to my birthdate that I had worn around my neck throughout that summer.
I immediately renounced the spirits and practices associated with them, confessed my sin and threw them away.
Forty years later God wanted them gone.

This is so cool. I had a very similar experience! I was listening to a Derek Prince sermon where he was describing getting rid of an old tapestry he had been given. I asked the Lord to show me any objects that I had that needed to go. I was immediately shown a dagger that was shaped like dragon claws at both ends with orbs in the claws. I had bought it at a garage sale when I was collecting knives at 14. I was 30 when God reminded me it was In a tote in a closet and needed to go! God is awesome in the truest sense.

In 1966 I visited Hawaii with a friend and bought two ceramic tiki gods about 10 in tall. They were on my book shelf above my bead. In 1971 I received the baptism of the Holy Spirit and also went thru a deliverance session. When I returned home the eyes of those tiki gods were glowing red and looking very angry. I immediately put them in a bag and took them to the garage and threw them down on the concrete floor and smashed them to pieces. I have never bought 'innocent' trinkets when travel ing since then.

As a missionary, I often work in other countries and we always tell the teams to be very careful about what they buy and also about what they allow native people to give them. In a lot of countries, there is a mix of some sort of local witchcraft and Catholicism that causes many people to say, “I am a Christian“ while they are still practicing, pagan rituals that they just see as part of their ethnic culture. When I was working in Israel, they took us to a store that they told us was “Christian”. Thankfully, the woman I was with warned me to look at all the things in the store carefully because there were things that had the evil eye, the hamsa, And other symbols to do with Kabala. I ended up not buying anything in that store at all because since they had such a mix of things I did not want to buy anything. Sometimes it has been a little awkward when someone has given us something to then turn around and ask an interpreter or a local pastor questions to make sure that we don’t take things home with us that we shouldn’t. Yet, it’s so important that we honor God in all things that even if it was a gift, even if, it’s something that would remind us of someone we got to minister to, or even if it’s just that it comes from a country where we have worked, we must not take those things home if there is any doubt in our mind at all. God has been very faithful over the years to protect me and to give me wisdom even when I didn’t understand exactly , what someone was trying to give me. Just thought I would share that perspective because we have run into many people over the years who did shorter mission work in another nation and brought things home like African mask, and things like that, and had no idea what they were inviting into their house. Thanks so much for all you do! God bless you guys abundantly and multiply all your efforts in building the kingdom for Jesus Christ!

Paused the video at 56:00 to speak towards the 'Burn house to the ground' question.
I unknowingly bought a home about 10 years ago and only until somewhat recently did I realize it had a demon or two (truly ignorance on my part).
All I know, is that it was a party home and I bought it with the intention of fixing it up as it was very rough and foreclosed.
Over the years, I'd have dreams about demons sucking me into the shower or closet and weirdly that's where stuff would fall over constantly and wake me up at night.
I once woke up to a demon trying to attack me but...at the same time felt like I had a literal force field around me. During that situation I was pushed a few inches down into my mattress and then it was gone.
I'd have very real demonic encounters where I could feel things sitting on my bed and moving the bed (about the weight of a dog jumping off a bed).
I have video of my security camera moving on it's own (couldn't re-create that for the life of me)
Around the time I started to think I was suffering from pretty bad depression...and not doing so hot I had prayed for help/understanding and thats when I found this channel.
Some of the first episodes were on deliverance where Ken Fish was being interviewed and I watched a few other videos here and realized...I think my home has a demon.
I prayed over it, prayed for confirmation and shortly after I had a dream in which I essentially tricked 3 demons out of my home and they were so fiercely trying to get back in it felt like the walls were going to come down. A bit of an odd dream I'll admit, but ever since then nothing has fallen over once and the dark oppressive atmosphere is utterly and completely gone.
All that to say, and I realize I can't go into crazy detail, from my extremely limited experience it would seem that you can pray over a home and rid it of demons.
Also great episode as I've tried to wrestle with how to approach a lot of these questions and yes I realize I sound crazy...
For as much spiritual attack stuff as I've gotten over the years I've also seen God heal and do some pretty cool stuff as well, to end on a positive note.

Yea you can get rid of them/demonic spirits through Jesus… but you can also be inviting them in with certain sins, like being under the influence of pharmacia , etc .. whether in ur house or following u around. When you have those nightmares you can call on Jesus through prayer in your dreams and it will fix it (sometimes it takes practice to remember in ur dreams but it definitely works.

Love this discussion bc many Christians may entirely reject this topic altogether bc it comes after so many of the things we "like." Harry Potter is surprisingly an area of much contention with Christians. Literally, a fantasy about witchcraft, sorcery, nercromancy, possession, cursed objects, etc seems okay bc it's wonderfully produced. Hard to celebrate or endorse when Galatians 5:19-21 says anyone living this way will NOT inherit the Kingdom of God. Very strange. People may have different convictions, but one of the enemy's most effective tools is convincing people, especially God's people, that "it's not that big of a deal." Very similar to the Garden of Eden. The enemy said, "It's just an apple, you won't surely die."

We have three similar stories as the dreamcatcher story. It might seem crazy until it happens to you or your family!
The first time it happened, my daughter started having night terrors. My husband had a dream about the origin of the demon behind the attacks. He described it to me so we could search for whatever the cursed object was in our home. It was a Moana toothbrush from the dentist she received earlier that week. Once we properly disposed of it- no more night terrors. It happened some time later, again, with a kid bracelet from a homemade jewelry store. It had little bears on it. Night terrors, husband had a dream, easily found the source. Third time was a book gifted to us. I didn't feel right about it, but kept it anyway. Night terrors for a few nights, Holy Spirit reninded me of the book, disposed of it, and no longer have had issues. We are extremely careful as to what comes in our home after those experiences! We refuse to let the demonic have access to our children!
Thank you for speaking on this, as you don't hear these teachings often enough in the church.

I'd like to hear more discussion about what this looks like with regard to modern Western religion. Our gods are not little Buddha or Krishna statues in our culture. Our gods are things like man and Science. Our entire American medical establishment is built on the foundation of godless things like Humanism, Scientism, and baby murder. Our government school system is entangled with Humanism, Scientism, and sexual perversion. And yet few people bat an eyelash -- and certainly no one wants to talk about -- what it means to participate in these things vs. properly separating religion from "neutral" things false religion has abused, vs. utterly destroying them.

    • @DRJoe100

Anything can be a false idol if you worship it, and it’s good to recognize when others worship it, however, actual science is biblical and god says to test all things .. similar to how the scientific method also tests things. Scientific journals and the overall community has become super political (I don’t mean dem vs rep but political in the community itself where they suppress the truth etc if it doesn’t align with the current mainstream thing.. instead of being non biased and actually following where the objective truth leads.). The more you know, the more you understand you have to use your own critical thinking skills and actually research stuff before believing … people use stats all the time to skew things so you have to find the actual study and sample size, success rate, who was kicked out/disqualified of the sample along the way and why.. it’s amazing how much nonsense is out there. Many people sell stuff of in vitro results instead of actual testing involving animals or humans. You just need discernment skills

“The art of Sosaku, (Creative), and modern Kokeshi doll making began in the early 1940s, grew and flourished in the 1950s-60s, and well into the 70s. Kokeshi represent a measure of the spirit-infused status of the wood, and they are believed to retain the material’s original sacred and natural qualities. ‘Kokeshi’ made in other countries, (China, Korea, etc.), are not Kokeshi, and do not represent the spirit from which they were conceived.”

  • @RachelRamey
    @RachelRamey 4 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

Thinking through the question you're asking about things being redeemable...and given the passages you pointed out from Paul, I kind of wonder if there's a distinction between an object which is *man-made* , and one which is a natural creation but has been misused. Like...meat is not something people *created* for evil purposes. A naturally-occurring crystal is not something *created* for evil purpose. *Water* is not something *created* for evil purposes. A candle might start out as an ordinary candle and later be dedicated to something.
But a candle created *specifically for* worship may be in a different category. A crystal that's cut into a given shape for worship has become a new thing *created* for idolatry. The dreamcatcher was *created for* something. The little idol statue is *created for* something.
Having only mused over this over the course of this video, and not studied it more deeply, I'm inclined to think that most likely a thing which was, in its current state, completely acceptable before it was dedicated to evil purposes is likely redeemable (at least in most situations), while things that were created for idolatry or *transformed* into something new for idolatry are not.

Snakes aren’t necessarily evil (they’re really important in nature), nor skulls , etc… but there’s occultic copies , baphomet, pentagram, do what tho will, evil eye/all seeing eye, false gods, etc that a Christian wouldn’t want to keep on their body. Adding Tattoos post being born again in general are up to the individual (there’s valid points on both sides, mostly on the anti side). It has no bearing on if you can be saved but why make life harder before we die by dealing with ones related to occultism. But non occultic tattoos serve as reminders to some (whether good or bad). We don’t live under OT laws like ancient Jews (which is where the anti tattoo stuff is). I’d focus on teaching the gospel and their salvation then teach biblical history and context . If someone is already saved and they’re asking ur opinion, pray for discernment with them

FYI..... As someone who studied languages/ linguistics in college (And a Berean search in scriptures in the original language to see if what is told me is true), I have come to understand and it was mentioned in college- those who are in media and translators let out information or translate according to their own agenda and perspective. Thus in 1 Corinthians 10 where in the Greek it says "everything sold in the marketplace eat nothing questioning for conscience sake." translators wanting to eat whatever they want to eat now insert a comma, after the word "eat". Thus making you feel you can eat everything without questioning. However if they inserted the comma, after nothing, the meaning would be completely. different. you would now be asked to question whether or not this had been sacrificed to a demon which is the whole context of the conversation. The marketplace was right next to the idol Temple who knows what has been sacrificed there, including humans, and to what god. This obviously would be an abomination to eat. However our translators, in a zeal to justify eating whatever they please, Insert a comma after "eat"; now they feel justified to eat whatever they want. I hope you are a Berean & give this time and attention to look through this material in the original Greek and see for yourself how it is laid out in the Greek; see for yourself how translators have done Christianity a disservice. May you study this out and may you make this known in your broadcasts. It is nice to see that other people are questioning this. May you come to know the truth; may you call translations into account for the abomination they have created for Christianity but most importantly for God's Kingdom, in choosing to translate wrongly to soothe their own appetite and agenda.😢.
PS if when you read something and it doesn't sync up with common sense of the context of the material then it's time for you to look into the original. This isn't the only place they've changed things to soothe their agenda of non-conformance to the original commandments of God that Jesus said he was coming to fulfill and not abolish and show us how to walk out.

What about Joseph having a personal divination cup? Even if he didn’t practice divination wouldn’t possessing it or tricking people with it have demonic repercussions or affect his ability to hear clearly from God? Also there’s the burning of incense with sacrifices, crystal stones in ephods. Anointing oil, laying on of hands, blessed objects, trances, fasting, casting of lots, ect. Are used in many religions and spiritual practices both before and after Judaism/Christianity…To say one practice is Christian and the other is pagan should be boiled down to the heart behind it.

Learning the theology of iconography and sacred art helped me understand and appreciate their significance and honor more, as well as to love our Lord and His saints more deeply. Exorcists often note that in cases of severe demonization, an aversion to blessed, sacred objects is often a telling sign that a demonic presence is there. Where I would dispose of sacred Christian art is when it has been compromised and tainted by religious syncretism, like in Santería, Candomblé, etc.

I have sweet friends that wont drink in front of me because of my past: abusive alcoholic parents. I have never asked them not to. Eating food that offends my Indian friend (no beef). In front of her i would probably choose chicken or fish, to show her love. Knowing scripture inside and out and having conversations with others can lead them into truth. You dont have to know their beliefs. But i still think for some, God has led you to learn about it. Others not so. I hunger for His Word, but I want to know how to show them respect so i looked up Hindu on the internet and did dome studying, because i love her and care about her and her soul. Convictions is an old term nowadays. People have different convictions. Allow others to follow their convictions about food at a wedding. Now that i know about it being dedicated, i personally will say no thank you at the wedding. But I can pray over it andGod can redeem it for His good. We are His ambassadors and we are to take back the land that God gave us in Eden. Take back the land of our Creator.

To me it would be rude to make their food with ingredients they abstain from but you can eat whatever like Jesus says… and the NT mentions not to stop eating meat because someone asks/demands you to or says it’s bad because god has allows you to eat meat. Only abstain if you want to but not because of someone else … like a vegan or if someone says it’s bad for the climate and to eat ze bugs etc 😂.

I purchased this bracelet because I loved the beautiful stone it was made of. I had heard that in Asian culture they wear them for good luck but that was not why I purchased it.
Is this an object that is redeemable? I only ask because it has lovely memories for me so I’d like to keep it. But I have no desire to invite evil into my life. Thoughts?

Seems unreasonable that an idolatrous object hidden in a believers house unbeknownst to them has the power to oppress them. Doesn’t make sense. Does that mean that an adversary can hide idols in your front yard bush to spite you? What if they’re mini idols the size of a grain of salt sprinkled all over the yard with a drone? See the point? 1 Cor 8:4-7 suggests that a person’s attitude towards the idol is what is the driving factor.

What is the main message of Habakkuk?
Trust the Lord, no matter what. That is Habakkuk's message for God's people around the world today. Believers can, and must, trust in God no matter how tumultuous outward circumstances may become. Habakkuk is unique in that the prophet is not speaking to God's people but rather to God himself.
I myself had talked to God myself and it almost killed me but Jesus keeps me alive and take me every night to be judged by my Father and tell em what’s going on and they are pretty aware who is the real dragon Ezequiel preached about we’re not even half way Jesus comes through worship nobody is worshipping people are trying to feel safe on their own, we are following his word either we like it or not.
God rules everywhere, everything and everything starts with him and will finish with him for those who really knew him, not those who pretended to.

I'm not sure how other people discern, but that's my experience. For my kids, I teach them red, yellow, and green light. This episode seems inconsistent to me. On one hand you’re saying don’t take it too far; and then don’t take a chance on anything; the next is use your discernment. It really seems that for many examples y’all just don’t know. It seems very subjective. I personally wouldn’t have a Budda or something in my house, why? I’m not sure why, whether it’s discernment or superstition I can’t tell. I would be more convinced if you could offer more New Testament examples about objects being cursed. But it seems more about people and practices that are evil.
A lot of your view point seems to be based on anecdotal experiences, which aren’t as verifiable nor biblically confirmable as I would like. I can just envision a whole lot of 1990’s burning of cds, movies, books (some of which would be good to do), but you haven’t drawn a clear enough line for most people. Imo

I have a comment that maybe you all can answer. I worship YHWH. That is the name of the "Old Testament" GOD. I also worship HIS Son, Jesus(who is also Yehoshua). I also worship the Holy Ghost and Holy Spirit(two forms of the same being as well). I worship the 3 in ONE, but you all say to worship Jesus only. According to the Bible, it says to pray in the Name of the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit. Whom I intuit as YHWH, Jesus, and the Holy Spirit. Is this blasphemy against Jesus? Or is it doing well according to the Word of God?

The Bible does not depict inanimate objects being possessed by evil.
Isaiah 44.9-20 ridicules idols but says nothing about them being imbued by evil.
Jeremiah 10 speaks against the use of idols but says nothing about them being imbued by evil.
Ezekiel 8 is one of the best ones. Ezekiel has a vision, given to him by the Holy Spirit, which involves him "flying" into the Jerusalem temple where he sees idolatry being practiced and lots of idols... but no evil spirit is seen possessing these idols. If inanimate objects could be possessed by evil, the Holy Spirit would've shown this to Ezekiel.
