I think Venerable Bede describes Celtic Christian practices of preparing the land before building a monastery. The monks would spend time fasting, praying, and casting out demons related to Pagan practices before beginning construction. It ties into what Heiser wrote about spiritual geography. Granted, monks were cleansing their own plot of land, not the entire kingdom. For that they preached the gospel and planted churches.

I'm a month behind! I used to work in Property Management and we used to half-joke that it sometimes seemed like some houses were cursed. Not in a way that there were hauntings, rather that certain homes seemed to always have issues, or either attracted people with problems or perhaps affected their lives so that they became problematic? I always wondered whether or not they were somehow "marked". I also did not know what role I played as a believer having to deal with that. They weren't my property and were not directly under my authority. I'm still not sure what that would mean for me were I to find myself in that role again.

The site is Gobekli Tepe in southern Turkey. There are other sites close to this in the region and I don’t believe they have been fully excavated yet but it seems they were deliberately buried and abandoned. Reading about them is very interesting.

Sometimes, we just need to ask God what is wrong with this place, and he can tell us. And then we can ask him what to do about it and he can tell us. The less complicated we make things, the more likely we are to have success.
Our job is to learn how to discern , so if we know his word we can easily recognize what’s wrong with a place. Granted praying is also important… doesn’t mean we’ll 100% get the answers we seek. Sometimes it’s a punishment from god, sometimes it’s a test, sometimes it’s satan…. Either way the cure is always to repent of our sins and ask for forgiveness and do what Jesus has asked us, and those who bless/curse Israel will be blessed/cursed… so if we get the combo correct and it’s gods will the land will be fixed (now or in the future)

Our economy is getting worse and worse the more our insane corrupt leftists pass evil laws and regulations and it’s causing everyone who can to flee our state. .. we’re rampant with crime cuz woke DA’s won’t prosecute. Yes, the zenith of the tares and the wheat parable is displayed in California. California is a global Spiritual birthing place that few know about until they study religious movements. The Cindy Jacobs thing...yeah, there's some weird stuff there. But I actually have to say I don't think that list of questions is as off-base as it may seem. It sounds like the ultimate idea there is to uncover whether the place and the people have been dedicated to idolatry (much as you talked about dedicated objects in the last episode). (I would go in a different direction *after* that than it sounds like she did, but I'm not sure those questions are really "out there," any more than asking someone you're praying with if they've ever been involved in witchcraft, sexual sin, etc.)
I can tell you from my 50 years of being a Christian starting out when I was just actually a few weeks of returning to the Lord. The house that I lived in was a party house. And so all kind of sitting went on there. When I was cleaning the house up to move out I said to God you know we did a lot of stuff in this house a lot of sin at that point I was feeling up uncomfortable as I was talking to the Lord. And I said to him : Lord I pray that whoever moves in this House will not be affected by the stuff that we did here. It was like a breath of fresh air came into the room like I was coming up out of the water gasping for air. Feeling lightness.. One of my older Christian friends said that I'd exercise the demons that were in that house. Two other times when I was first moving out west I was in Shreveport Louisiana on Christmas Eve. and I just was so heavy in the spirit that all I wanted to do was pray and tongues. My friend who is moving with me as what is going on and I just told him I just got praying the spirits or can you just drive. Stay overnight, And all I could do is just pray in tongues. The next morning got up And that needs stop another time was on the mission trip to Costa Rica we went to a certain town and I got that same heaviness and all I could do is pray in tongues. I told to other ministry leader what was happening and I said I just need to pray and I went off and just prayed and tongues why she took care of the ministry going on there with the young adults we had.
I don't believe the curses are obsolete. Not only because not all are regenerate, but because God still disciplines. I think the distinction OT/NT is that there's a disciplinary judgment rather than a damning judgment. Just look at Hebrews 12 and a careful reading of 1 Corinthians 11.
I think this was a really good conversation with an excellent close. I think as the body of Christ we have to be collectively cautious of extremes. And throwing the baby out with the bath water. Just because people go to extremes when it comes to warfare does not mean there isn't spiritual warfare, like it has been said, the greatest trick of the enemy is to make people believe he did not exist. From the moment you were saved, you are engaged in spiritual warfare just by way of being a new creation. Matthew 5: 13,14 describes us as the salt of the earth, light to the world, interesting language, particularly when you think about the characteristics of salt and light. One of the functions of salt is that it preserves, is there something in our nature that preserves the very earth? Perhaps a cursed land until the 2nd coming of Christ. Are we holding back the very just and real wrath of God through our God given nature, our cries for mercy until He returns in final judgement. We are light, light is often associated with knowledge, the knowledge of God revealed through the children of God. The mercy of God enacted and expressed through the people of God. We have been delivered out of darkness, Colossians tells us we were once under elemental spirits when we were in the world, but now the same power that called you out is the same power that is to be expressed in all ways, the proclaiming of the gospel, living a holy life, all kinds of prayer for all men for the advancement of His Kingdom. Warfare is real and our God is great, He has called us to actively engage in the mission until He returns. Thanks again guys, good stuff.
I love your calling out of culture around spiritual warfare that is unbiblical. And I am in process of finishing up some edits on a book about how people respond to spirits in the bible that involves cultivating character and fruit of the spirit to remove any foothold of the enemy in the church. I try to use little to no personal expierence but lean on the authority of scripture itself.

In the case of David delivering up the descendants of Saul, this was not about cursed land. The Gibeonites had made a covenant with Joshua through trickery (Joshua 10), but it was a covenant nonetheless, which Saul was obligated to honor. However, he had sought to destroy them (2 Samuel 21:1-2). In doing so, he violated the covenant and spilled innocent blood. What David did was a matter of justice. Balancing the scales so to speak.
Would the destruction of the city depend on if the inhabitants tried to entice people to worship their gods as aposed to being destroyed in battle or fleeing from the presence of the army?
I think one difference between old and new testaments might be that God does not really act reactively to sin after the cross like he does in the OT. Romans 1 seems to indicate passive wrath, another words, he lets the powers and sinful nature run wild. I wonder if this has to do with regions as well. Maybe God no longer punishes but just removes protection. Some counters to this would be the story of Ananiah and Saphira in Acts.

Well James says in chapter 5 to “call for the elders of the church and let them pray over them anointing them with oil in the name of the Lord” and in another place Jesus tells His disciples to go to places in pairs of two praying for people anointing them with oil and people would be healed, so it appears there is something to anointing with oil we seem to have forgotten and we seem to have removed from our teaching in a lot of circles

When can a church deserve a curse? We are told not to quench the Holy Spirit. Blasphemy means insulting. What about churches who ignore Pentecost and all the wonderful meaning of having the Holy Spirit in us, and even say that He doesn't do what He used to do? And what about the verse that says "having a form of godliness but denying the power thereof. From such as these, turn away." Can that possibly refer to saved people who ignore the Holy Spirit? Also, y'all quoted, "Christ has redeemed us from the curse of the law," so was it Peter that said women shouldn't preach because of the Law? Genesis 3:16 is the only place in the OT that talks about that that I know of. Isn't that before the Law? And Christ has redeemed us from the curse of the Law. Conferences cost money for the hotel, coffee, water and travel for speakers. All the work related conferences I go to cost over $500 for a 2 day event. I have to pay for room and hotel too.
38 min mark, talking about regional curses. In 2023, Lord told me that sin, especially repeated sin, creates demonic altars. And the more sin-drenched a region is, the more demonic altars are in it.... subsequently the more *worship* that principality is getting. And that *empowers* (edit to add: gives it more and more authority) that principality. Our Commission is to tear down the demonic altars in regions. We do that by spreading the Gospel. Caring for the poor & widowed. Creating Disciples. Casting out demons. Healing the sick. Cleansing the lepers. Raising the dead. That's bringing forth God's Kingdom on this earth. *That's* how we manifest/impose / apply the Victory Jesus already provided. And that is how we defeat regional principalities.

A church in a particularly wicked region better be double time in prayer, repentance , worship, Holiness, and working with other churches & interested parties (non profits, leadership, etc) in the region to bring forth God's Kingdom and Jesus's Dominion.
In regards to Jesus's raining, He sits at the Father until all His enemies are made His footstool. In Daniel 7 we see Jesus, the Son of Man, before the Father, Ancient of Days, and the kingdom coming appon the people of the saints. Leading up to this the forth beast rules almost completely and wages war against the saints. This is where we are. Leading into the people of the saints receiving the Kingdom under Christ. This is what we see played out in revelations. We are coming to the transition of the end of the 4th beast rule and the glory of the kingdom on the saints under Christ.
Post flood we know they’ve figured out the migration and break offs of natives through genealogy (Nathaniel jeanson has a ton of research on this), but we do know some of the history of multiple native tribes. There’s info on them dealing with 6 fingered giants, spirits/demons, knowing the flood story, knowing about the cross of Jesus, them building mounds and having massive trade routes /cities that were destroyed by Europeans … there’s also archeological evidence.. you should research it more
In our town, I have recorded on radar, where storms will break up or split in half, just as they are like three miles away. One out of every six or seven will give us rain, while the rest will not. We are literally on the drought map, as the worst drought in the state of Kansas, and it's a tiny strip that goes right over the top of us. Every Christian in the area thinks it could be spiritual, because it's just so weird.
Maybe but our gov openly has multiple tech to mess with the weather and if the land is properly managed it can still thrive in a drought, in permaculture it’s called earthworks by doing swells and ponds planted with a certain variety of plants to recharge the ground water and make it slow down in movement. Even in Africa there’s regreening the desert or the green wall turning the Sahara back to fertile with moon mounds. I read Proverbs every day and I have seen scriptures that people don’t hardly ever talk about about the power of the tongue let alone James chapter 3! What I’m saying is that with the power of our mouth with the words that come off of our tongue, I have seen both my wife and I speak to two LGBTQ owned businesses to close up. One was a former beautiful church turned into an LGBTQ entertainment center. And the other a sub shop owned by the same “married” homosexual couple. I even got into it on Facebook with the one “guy.” Years later from what I found out in the news, one of them broke his leg pretty bad in their goodbye/ thank you news article. But anyways, we attacked those two buildings (businesses) and started commanding it to shut down, get out of our neighborhood! binding those homosexual spirits, lust, pride 🌈, perversion, unclean, paedophilia, etc. etc As Jesus cursed the fig tree that it would bear no fruit so we prayed that these businesses would bear no fruit, and we cursed them to shut down and that no profit would be made and that they will have to leave and they will shut down in JESUS’NAME!!!!!!!!! We even wrote to the Mayor of our town and told him we don’t need this but he disagreed we need as many businesses as possible so it’s all about the money even though he says he’s a Christian and goes to church down the street. I put in my scathing warning email to him “read Romans chapter 1 and read the story about Sodom and Gomorrah.” Within a short period of time of a few years the church one shut down, then finally after 4 years the sub shop closed down. These two married homosexuals who lived in a whole different town, never came around again. 🙌🏽 We also had a big strip club around the corner, called “Pure Platinum.” Even my uncles would go there when they were younger in the 1970s. We cursed that thing we commanded it to shut down and I would walk by laying hands on the building, speaking in other tongues, binding every spirit from A-Z, commanding this perverted business to close up. After X number of years, it eventually shut down and it’s still shut down for about eight years now. Three doors down from there there was a new age/occult place “Aroma Bubbles” Same thing just commanded those new age, spirits, witchcraft, etc., etc. to be bound. I commanded that place to shut down to go out of business. After years it finally did…but moved far away to another poor location. It ain’t going to last. It got beat up so bad. We had a house that was being rented two doors down from us with young kids living in it. We called it “the crack house” and so we did warfare. We used the power of our tongue to get rid of this problem. Within an X number of years that house was razed to the ground and it’s been that way for an about eight years. Empty lot. Zerooooo lumber remaining! On the same street as the strip bar used to be as well as the new age occult store there is a service/business? run by the United Church of this town called “The Embrace Centre” which is ALL about the LGBTQ agenda. It does nothing. It just sits there as a cancerous sore in our town with its flags and promotions!! I’ve prayed and commanded and cursed that place for years and years to shut down to close up, but it has such a stronghold. No go. The same with the Freemasonry hall just a four minute walk from there. No go. Its roots are deep. Those spirits don’t wanna budge from there. Very very strong. My last story is a long one, but to make it short, there was a nondenominational charismatic church with all of the flaky, seeing angels, prosperity gospel, all fluff, and positive preaching by the pastor whom we’ve known since the day he got saved 30+ years ago. It was a pure nepotistic family run church. It was very concerning because we also had a few relatives cousins and their kids and people we knew were attending there. My wife and I have been veterans and have gone through the church splits, scandals, con-artists thing a few times. We knew the inevitable was going to happen. And it did. So I commanded this cult to shut down to close up and started cursing this thing at the roots that it would not bear anymore bad fruit that the truth will come out, and these false shepherds, these liars will be exposed. I even made a Facebook page calling its church name with the word cult at the end of it with a question mark.❓ wanting to make the member think “ am I in a cult?” The pastor would even laugh and tell his congregation that they are being called a cult. I remember clear as day that one of my family member’s husband and I had a meeting as he was in charge of the children’s ministry that we met at a Tim Hortons donut shop and we talked …and I looked him straight in the eye, and I said to him with righteous authority and anger at the devil “this cult is going to shut down in the name of Jesus. Mark my words.” I did videos, exposing the pastors, false teachings wrong doctrines kooky flaky messages. Not even singing Christmas carols during Christmas. Very weak. The head Pastor got so mad he even went to my workplace (post office) to try to get me off his mail route for me to stop delivering mail to him! (I didn’t even know where he lived when I chose this route. It was just God.) I would be pleasant to them in the driveway if their car lights were on or some other unpleasantry I would notify them about. After some time people started coming out and we banded together together, and we would pray, one couple in particular whose daughter (and husband and 3 kids) were terrified of leaving, fearing that she would be cursed if she did as the Pastor said so leaving his umbrella of protection. Another couple we became very strong friends with whose daughter and son were still stuck in there, but our friends got out when they were being coerced to give more money. I mean, lots of money. Eventually their kids were out when the cult shut down. So after years of doing spiritual warfare, commanding that cult to shut down to be exposed, binding every spirit that we have come to knowledge through our experiences, eventually it did close down, and the head Pastor took all the money left Canada and went to North Carolina I believe he and his family. His one daughter (who was a pastor there) was not in agreement with him. She was rebellious, but she was also into Yoga/New Age (which I exposed) and sleeping with a suicidal church member. Even the head Pastor eventually had an affair with one of the younger girls near the end. Because his wife had an eating disorder, very skinny through a lot of fasting and probably bingeing. They called themselves “Apostles.” The wife was the “prophetess.” Imagine going to church that one Sunday morning, and the doors are locked!? A couple (who is our friends today) who went there, said she so wanted to be on the praise and worship team that she said she was finally accepted (as a black woman) to go on stage, but when she went to the doors, they were closed. Needless to say, there are a lot of people that are NOW spiritual zombies, broken, disillusioned, backslidden, hurt, confused and bitter. But I say all of this to the glory of God 🙋🏻♂️🙌🏽♥️that through the power of our tongue 👅with our words 🗣️💥💥💥when it lines up with God’s will, when you know that you know that you know, when God leads you to do it just as Paul WAS LED BY GOD to curse Elymas the sorcerer and he was bumping into trees before he knew it! 🤕 Great message and program guys keep it up. I totally forgot that there’s two places here in my town of Fort Erie, which one of them is where we get the name of our town from the War of 1812 where they say the fort itself (being our main tourist attraction) is haunted by dead soldiers and some other people that were there. And they actually have haunted ghost tours there! 🤦🏻♂️ We also had a kids TV show program studio van come from Toronto to shoot their show here at our “doll museum” (dolls can be very demonic objects) just around the corner from us where the whole town believes that it is famously haunted. It is now out of business just sitting there for years. Nice building. It was used in the past to smuggle black slaves who were running for their lives from the US under the Niagara river into Canada into this building. But I think some of them died in there from what I recall.
While there is a traceable history of what we call Western History, there is no pan-Western view, there are no pan-Western values. Huge difference between areas once under the British Empire and Continental Europe. Huge differences in beliefs and values between Northern Europe and Mediterranean cultures. Huge difference between the US and Europe. And the Caribbean. And South America. Major difference in values and culture just regionally in the US. This constant stereotyping of what is Western culture is incorrect. Possbly inspired by the book "Misreading Scripture With Western Eyes", which is a book that is well-meaning, but is misleading on many things. The West is incredibly diverse in culture, philosophy, values. What RR often stereotypes as Western culture simply is not Western culture. Again, well-meaning, but misleading.

I think Venerable Bede describes Celtic Christian practices of preparing the land before building a monastery. The monks would spend time fasting, praying, and casting out demons related to Pagan practices before beginning construction. It ties into what Heiser wrote about spiritual geography. Granted, monks were cleansing their own plot of land, not the entire kingdom. For that they preached the gospel and planted churches.
The best way to cleanse the land is being obedient to God. Spread the gospel

I used to work in Property Management and we used to half-joke that it sometimes seemed like some houses were cursed. Not in a way that there were hauntings, rather that certain homes seemed to always have issues, or either attracted people with problems or perhaps affected their lives so that they became problematic? I always wondered whether or not they were somehow "marked".
I also did not know what role I played as a believer having to deal with that. They weren't my property and were not directly under my authority. I'm still not sure what that would mean for me were I to find myself in that role again.

The site is Gobekli Tepe in southern Turkey. There are other sites close to this in the region and I don’t believe they have been fully excavated yet but it seems they were deliberately buried and abandoned. Sometimes, we just need to ask God what is wrong with this place, and he can tell us. And then we can ask him what to do about it and he can tell us. The less complicated we make things, the more likely we are to have success.
Our job is to learn how to discern , so if we know his word we can easily recognize what’s wrong with a place. Granted praying is also important… doesn’t mean we’ll 100% get the answers we seek. Sometimes it’s a punishment from god, sometimes it’s a test, sometimes it’s satan…. Either way the cure is always to repent of our sins and ask for forgiveness and do what Jesus has asked us, and those who bless/curse Israel will be blessed/cursed… so if we get the combo correct and it’s gods will the land will be fixed (now or in the future)

The Cindy Jacobs thing...yeah, there's some weird stuff there. But I actually have to say I don't think that list of questions is as off-base as it may seem. It sounds like the ultimate idea there is to uncover whether the place and the people have been dedicated to idolatry (much as you talked about dedicated objects in the last episode). (I would go in a different direction *after* that than it sounds like she did, but I'm not sure those questions are really "out there," any more than asking someone you're praying with if they've ever been involved in witchcraft, sexual sin, etc.)
I can tell you from my 50 years of being a Christian starting out when I was just actually a few weeks of returning to the Lord. The house that I lived in was a party house. And so all kind of sitting went on there. When I was cleaning the house up to move out I said to God you know we did a lot of stuff in this house a lot of sin at that point I was feeling up uncomfortable as I was talking to the Lord. And I said to him : Lord I pray that whoever moves in this House will not be affected by the stuff that we did here. It was like a breath of fresh air came into the room like I was coming up out of the water gasping for air. Feeling lightness.. One of my older Christian friends said that I'd exercise the demons that were in that house. Two other times when I was first moving out west I was in Shreveport Louisiana on Christmas Eve. and I just was so heavy in the spirit that all I wanted to do was pray and tongues. My friend who is moving with me as what is going on and I just told him I just got praying the spirits or can you just drive. Stay overnight, And all I could do is just pray in tongues. The next morning got up And that needs stop another time was on the mission trip to Costa Rica we went to a certain town and I got that same heaviness and all I could do is pray in tongues. I told to other ministry leader what was happening and I said I just need to pray and I went off and just prayed and tongues why she took care of the ministry going on there with the young adults we had.
I've had the same experience Josh mentioned with the French Quarter -- and also in Jamaica.
I don't believe the curses are obsolete. Not only because not all are regenerate, but because God still disciplines. I think the distinction OT/NT is that there's a disciplinary judgment rather than a damning judgment. Just look at Hebrews 12 and a careful reading of 1 Corinthians 11.

I think as the body of Christ we have to be collectively cautious of extremes. And throwing the baby out with the bath water. Just because people go to extremes when it comes to warfare does not mean there isn't spiritual warfare, like it has been said, the greatest trick of the enemy is to make people believe he did not exist.
From the moment you were saved, you are engaged in spiritual warfare just by way of being a new creation.
Matthew 5: 13,14 describes us as the salt of the earth, light to the world, interesting language, particularly when you think about the characteristics of salt and light.
One of the functions of salt is that it preserves, is there something in our nature that preserves the very earth? Perhaps a cursed land until the 2nd coming of Christ. Are we holding back the very just and real wrath of God through our God given nature, our cries for mercy until He returns in final judgement.
We are light, light is often associated with knowledge, the knowledge of God revealed through the children of God. The mercy of God enacted and expressed through the people of God.
We have been delivered out of darkness, Colossians tells us we were once under elemental spirits when we were in the world, but now the same power that called you out is the same power that is to be expressed in all ways, the proclaiming of the gospel, living a holy life, all kinds of prayer for all men for the advancement of His Kingdom.
Warfare is real and our God is great, He has called us to actively engage in the mission until He returns.

And I am in process of finishing up some edits on a book about how people respond to spirits in the bible that involves cultivating character and fruit of the spirit to remove any foothold of the enemy in the church. I think one difference between old and new testaments might be that God does not really act reactively to sin after the cross like he does in the OT. Romans 1 seems to indicate passive wrath, another words, he lets the powers and sinful nature run wild. I wonder if this has to do with regions as well. Maybe God no longer punishes but just removes protection. Some counters to this would be the story of Ananiah and Saphira in Acts.

Well James says in chapter 5 to “call for the elders of the church and let them pray over them anointing them with oil in the name of the Lord” and in another place Jesus tells His disciples to go to places in pairs of two praying for people anointing them with oil and people would be healed, so it appears there is something to anointing with oil we seem to have forgotten and we seem to have removed from our teaching in a lot of circles

In our town, I have recorded on radar, where storms will break up or split in half, just as they are like three miles away. One out of every six or seven will give us rain, while the rest will not. I read Proverbs every day and I have seen scriptures that people don’t hardly ever talk about about the power of the tongue let alone James chapter 3!
What I’m saying is that with the power of our mouth with the words that come off of our tongue, I have seen both my wife and I speak to two LGBTQ owned businesses to close up. One was a former beautiful church turned into an LGBTQ entertainment center. And the other a sub shop owned by the same “married” homosexual couple. I even got into it on Facebook with the one “guy.”
Years later from what I found out in the news, one of them broke his leg pretty bad in their goodbye/ thank you news article.
But anyways, we attacked those two buildings (businesses) and started commanding it to shut down, get out of our neighborhood! binding those homosexual spirits, lust, pride 🌈, perversion, unclean, paedophilia, etc. etc
As Jesus cursed the fig tree that it would bear no fruit so we prayed that these businesses would bear no fruit, and we cursed them to shut down and that no profit would be made and that they will have to leave and they will shut down in JESUS’NAME!!!!!!!!!
We even wrote to the Mayor of our town and told him we don’t need this but he disagreed we need as many businesses as possible so it’s all about the money even though he says he’s a Christian and goes to church down the street. I put in my scathing warning email to him “read Romans chapter 1 and read the story about Sodom and Gomorrah.”
Within a short period of time of a few years the church one shut down, then finally after 4 years the sub shop closed down.
These two married homosexuals who lived in a whole different town, never came around again. 🙌🏽
We also had a big strip club around the corner, called “Pure Platinum.”
Even my uncles would go there when they were younger in the 1970s.
We cursed that thing we commanded it to shut down and I would walk by laying hands on the building, speaking in other tongues, binding every spirit from A-Z, commanding this perverted business to close up.
After X number of years, it eventually shut down and it’s still shut down for about eight years now.
Three doors down from there there was a new age/occult place “Aroma Bubbles”
Same thing just commanded those new age, spirits, witchcraft, etc., etc. to be bound. I commanded that place to shut down to go out of business. After years it finally did…but moved far away to another poor location.
It ain’t going to last. It got beat up so bad.
We had a house that was being rented two doors down from us with young kids living in it. We called it “the crack house” and so we did warfare. We used the power of our tongue to get rid of this problem.
Within an X number of years that house was razed to the ground and it’s been that way for an about eight years. Empty lot. Zerooooo lumber remaining!
On the same street as the strip bar used to be as well as the new age occult store there is a service/business? run by the United Church of this town called “The Embrace Centre” which is ALL about the LGBTQ agenda. It does nothing. It just sits there as a cancerous sore in our town with its flags and promotions!!
I’ve prayed and commanded and cursed that place for years and years to shut down to close up, but it has such a stronghold. No go.
The same with the Freemasonry hall just a four minute walk from there. No go.
Its roots are deep.
Those spirits don’t wanna budge from there.

My last story is a long one, but to make it short, there was a nondenominational charismatic church with all of the flaky, seeing angels, prosperity gospel, all fluff, and positive preaching by the pastor whom we’ve known since the day he got saved 30+ years ago. It was a pure nepotistic family run church.
It was very concerning because we also had a few relatives cousins and their kids and people we knew were attending there.
My wife and I have been veterans and have gone through the church splits, scandals, con-artists thing a few times. We knew the inevitable was going to happen. And it did.
So I commanded this cult to shut down to close up and started cursing this thing at the roots that it would not bear anymore bad fruit that the truth will come out, and these false shepherds, these liars will be exposed.
I even made a Facebook page calling its church name with the word cult at the end of it with a question mark.❓ wanting to make the member think “ am I in a cult?”
The pastor would even laugh and tell his congregation that they are being called a cult.
I remember clear as day that one of my family member’s husband and I had a meeting as he was in charge of the children’s ministry that we met at a Tim Hortons donut shop and we talked …and I looked him straight in the eye, and I said to him with righteous authority and anger at the devil “this cult is going to shut down in the name of Jesus. Mark my words.”
I did videos, exposing the pastors, false teachings wrong doctrines kooky flaky messages. Not even singing Christmas carols during Christmas. Very weak.
The head Pastor got so mad he even went to my workplace (post office) to try to get me off his mail route for me to stop delivering mail to him! (I didn’t even know where he lived when I chose this route. It was just God.)
I would be pleasant to them in the driveway if their car lights were on or some other unpleasantry I would notify them about.
After some time people started coming out and we banded together together, and we would pray, one couple in particular whose daughter (and husband and 3 kids) were terrified of leaving, fearing that she would be cursed if she did as the Pastor said so leaving his umbrella of protection.
Another couple we became very strong friends with whose daughter and son were still stuck in there, but our friends got out when they were being coerced to give more money. I mean, lots of money.
Eventually their kids were out when the cult shut down.
So after years of doing spiritual warfare, commanding that cult to shut down to be exposed, binding every spirit that we have come to knowledge through our experiences, eventually it did close down, and the head Pastor took all the money left Canada and went to North Carolina I believe he and his family.
His one daughter (who was a pastor there) was not in agreement with him. She was rebellious, but she was also into Yoga/New Age (which I exposed) and sleeping with a suicidal church member.
Even the head Pastor eventually had an affair with one of the younger girls near the end.
Because his wife had an eating disorder, very skinny through a lot of fasting and probably bingeing.
They called themselves “Apostles.”
The wife was the “prophetess.”
Imagine going to church that one Sunday morning, and the doors are locked!?
A couple (who is our friends today) who went there, said she so wanted to be on the praise and worship team that she said she was finally accepted (as a black woman) to go on stage, but when she went to the doors, they were closed.
Needless to say, there are a lot of people that are NOW spiritual zombies, broken, disillusioned, backslidden, hurt, confused and bitter.
But I say all of this to the glory of God 🙋🏻♂️🙌🏽♥️that through the power of our tongue 👅with our words 🗣️💥💥💥when it lines up with God’s will, when you know that you know that you know, when God leads you to do it just as Paul WAS LED BY GOD to curse Elymas the sorcerer and he was bumping into trees before he knew it! 🤕

I totally forgot that there’s two places here in my town of Fort Erie, which one of them is where we get the name of our town from the War of 1812 where they say the fort itself (being our main tourist attraction) is haunted by dead soldiers and some other people that were there. And they actually have haunted ghost tours there! 🤦🏻♂️
We also had a kids TV show program studio van come from Toronto to shoot their show here at our “doll museum” (dolls can be very demonic objects) just around the corner from us where the whole town believes that it is famously haunted.
It is now out of business just sitting there for years. Nice building.
It was used in the past to smuggle black slaves who were running for their lives from the US under the Niagara river into Canada into this building. But I think some of them died in there from what I recall.
While there is a traceable history of what we call Western History, there is no pan-Western view, there are no pan-Western values.
Huge difference between areas once under the British Empire and Continental Europe. Huge differences in beliefs and values between Northern Europe and Mediterranean cultures. Huge difference between the US and Europe. And the Caribbean. And South America. Major difference in values and culture just regionally in the US.
This constant stereotyping of what is Western culture is incorrect. Possbly inspired by the book "Misreading Scripture With Western Eyes", which is a book that is well-meaning, but is misleading on many things.
The West is incredibly diverse in culture, philosophy, values. What RR often stereotypes as Western culture simply is not Western culture.
Again, well-meaning, but misleading.
