  • In this video you will see how to connect direct the cooling fan of a car easier, faster and without having to cut wires. I made this video as a demonstration, not for you to do it, it is your responsibility if you do it at home or in a mechanics workshop.

    Another method:
    Just splice both wires and connect both cables together,this will keep the fan working constantly and goes off when the ignition is switched off.

    Does it keeps the thermostat opened so the coolant cycles all the system?

    • @taranta
      @taranta  2 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      No friend, the thermostat opens due to temperature, when the coolant gets very hot and the engine is going to exceed the correct temperature, the thermostat opens and allows the coolant to circulate, which goes to the radiators where it is cooled by the fans, which circulate the air between the radiator grilles and the cold coolant returns to the engine and maintains its temperature in this process. That is where my idea of putting the paper clip to the temperature sensor to keep he circuit closed so that it sends a signal to the computer comes into play that the engine is working hot and this in turn starts the fans, because when the sensor does not work well, the car overheats.

    • @taranta
      @taranta  ปีที่แล้ว

      It depends because you don't specify why the water goes down. Most likely it is a leak in a hose or the radiator and you are only going to solve it by stopping the leak, but if the radiator loses water because the motor overheats and causes the water to overflow and come out, then this method works for your car.

    When you just disconnect the connector and turn on your car the fan will come on like that, so my question is what is the difference for putting in the paper clip. Basically do you need the paper clip for a reason

    • @taranta
      @taranta  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I put the paper clip to jumper the temp sensor to send signal to the computer to run the fans. When you start the car and it heats up the fans don't work as they should be because the sensor is not good.

    • @taranta
      @taranta  6 วันที่ผ่านมา +1

      How is it going to burn if it is the continuity of the same low current, a low current enters through a cable that is cut off when the sensor is cold, when the sensor it heats up it makes a touch that joins the continuity to the other cable that continues to the computer that activates the fans. That's why I made a bridge out of a paper clip, so that the signal continues and the fans keep working, that simple🙂

    I have a big question why is this done to the car ? Is this done because they dont wanna fix the thermostat ? Or a water pump ? I have this done to my 94 civic but awhile ago i drove about 1 hour and 30 mins and when i was getting home my car was over heating i put coolant and it didint over heat again but a couple months later it did the same thing and i just keep adding coolant when i disconnect the fan i let the car idle for a couple mins and the tempature stays cool i dont run the car without the fan running im afraid it'll over heat do i have a head gasket problem? Its burning alot of oil i would appreciate the help im having alot of probs with the car it just burned2 catalyc converters i just changed an o2 sensor also it needs a distributor and i recently just cleaned the iac valve it was idling high

I think is better to make a bridge in the sensor, when you arrive at home and then change the sensor, do not believe? The car overheating due to a fault of the sensor, which in turn is almost always the overheating is due to a defect in the operation of the sensor, but a car never gets cool in which internal blowup fire occur in the cylinders, generating large energy that is translated into heat all over the engine.
