This is great! I went to Weihai for a visit a few years ago and loved it there. It's so nostalgic to see it again in this video. The hotel I stayed at was not at all expensive and the room was nice and really very large. I visited one of the beaches further away from the town centre by taxi it was a great beach with not many people, that area was very quiet, very peaceful. I loved the shops in Weihai, they seemed different from the shops in a typical Chinese town, someone told me there was a Korean influence there. The McDonald's near the beach had a rooftop patio where you could eat while looking out across the sea. It seemed to be a quiet and a very pleasant town with friendly people. While walking around one afternoon three people came up to me and asked me if I needed any help, they were sincere and not hoping to gain anything, just wanted to help if I was lost or whatever. Like I said, very friendly. I would like to go back there one day. Thank you for this video, it brings back many good memories of my time in that beautiful town.
I don't get it....Western media and western countries continue saying how awful China is....but the lifestyle looks the same to me. Good video Bro'. Cheers .
I don't recognise that part of Weihai, which looks pretty good. What number bus goes down that way? I thought it might be Golden Beach, but don't think so. It's at the other end of Golden Beach in the area known as Hua ju 8 jie.
