These tips suggest every family store vast quantities of produce, meats, breads, canned goods, and so on... per person. The quantity he speaks of would require each family member to have their own refrigerator, freezer, and storage space as well. I live in an Apt., I stockpile what I can, and if the power goes out for a few days, I won't have the waste of thawed and rotting foods.

I always try buying bulk meats.

    2 Chicken Leg Quarters
    2 Drumsticks
Or a bag full of Chicken.

buy a root cellar and a pantry and a large extra freezer. LOL. grow some food, get dehydrated packages of fruit, dried beans, oats. lentils, quinoa, rice, pasta, crackers, jellies, sauces, etc. that can be stacked in containers. Keep potatoes, onions, carrots, celery, and garlic etc, on hand.

I have a couple of extra freezers. I buy meats and makings in bulk then meal prep. I divide the meat and use half for spacific meals. Like for meatloaf, i use 1 lb ground beef (its just me), and add seasonings. The rest of the ingredients ill put in a ziplock bag, label and date and store in the pantry. I also prepare and freeze a vegetable which i put with the meat. I freeze prepared meals as well. I found some containers with lids at dollar tree. Cook it up, divide it up, and freeze.

Elderly and retired. It's a great idea for a big house and a large family. Just no room in many situations. I'm eating more vegetables to counter the meat prices. Buy what is growing locally from farmer's markets. Grow a garden; consider a few chickens if you can. (I have one) The weather or our technology is a problem sometimes. White bread can't be cheap enough for me to consider buying it. We have an oven. Fruits and vegetables have a SEASON when they are cheap, and they are expensive the rest of the time; if you need to have them; think about perhaps canning/freezing/drying. You'd have to have a barn to hold all the stuff he's listing. Some of this is becoming accustomed to what you CAN get. Avoiding expensive ingredients when not in season or on sale. I don't plan to hoard a lot of food in advance; alas, I will not exist past the availability of INSULIN which degrades over time if stored.

The title is tricky if we consider the presenter states “in the upcoming months”. Attention catch strategy. Yes, food prices have skyrocketed and maybe it’s not that they will not be available but that they will become unaffordable for many of us. You wonder why our governments don’t focus on this instead of international politics. Other commodities have seen a decrease in price but not food. But that is another story. It’s good to stock on some items, not sure about the citrus but you can buy already frozen fruits like strawberries, blueberries and mangos. Canned beans are an excellent and still cheap source of protein. Substitution is important. I don’t buy anything that is absurdly priced (like eggs some time ago. Give your body a healthy break. Eat something else). Now there’s one factor here, that will probably not happen because people are not going to go en masse to the shops to buy food (unless there’s another pandemic or a major war) and that is that food prices will increase even further if people go and empty the shelves. It’s difficult but adapting and substituting is essential. Having gone through three major hurricanes and a civil war has taught me something

Why are there changing weather patterns? Wouldn't all these people going out and buying extra like this cause the shortage? Is the cost of the extra fridge or freezer less than the extra produce item. I'm not confident on the nutrition advice, bread is not a dietary need, an onion is more nutritious than citrus. At the beginning of this I thought it was a message from the meat industry as there are more economical equally nutritious shelf stable option. Most fruits are not needed if we are eating a variety of veggies and greens. Is it an AI video?
