The APU didnt shut down because it has a rundown. And when it shuts down, the generator disconnects at a certain N-value. Actually you should not switch off the batteries (IRL) until the APU flap is closed. You can see that on the APU system page. The manual says: „switching the batteries off before the APU flap is closed may cause smoke in the cabin during the next flight“
Glad I watched this video. Was saving up and almost pushed the purchase button. This looks so complicated and time consuming. Glad to be using the money for something else
Excellent tutorial. Thank you. Using Fénix FS2Crew with FSI Panel custom waypoints or from cold and dark. Also works pretty well with FSHUD for ATC, allbeit without as yet speech recognition. However FSHUD has vectoring with distance and speed vectoring and option to start from actual in flight position. I wonder when FS2Crew will interface to Beyond ATC etc and hence avoid repetition of requests to ATC. Such as Request Start,Up and Pushback. FS2Crew finding to be an excellent product.
I havent even gotten the checklist to load. Not sure why yet. Going to have to spend a bit more time with it I guess and figure out why it isnt coming up
Sorry, maybe I`m wrong, but as a voice command we can only say what is in the box "Voice command assist" like the script of a movie? Or there is a way so that the FO can understand and reply to any command in any moment? thanks
Uhm yes and no. So you have to say the exact cmands for them to be recognised, but you can call for most commands at any time. The commands that appear in the assist box are kind of like the recommended commands for that stage of the flight. So that you don't miss anything. But if you do them at a different time it should still work. Within reason obviously. Hope that helps?
@@saltgrater2719 thanks a lot for your super fast reply, I'll try and see, still not clear how it works, I have to watch again your video carefully. Thanks 🙋🏻♂️
Ive noticed that sometimes the checklist assist comes up, but a voice command does not initiate the checklist. This seems to happen later in the flight, like decent
I have given it a try to install the FO from the product manager and now I do have it in my Fenix cockpit. Though I have not paid for it. Is this normal or a lucky coincidence? But he doesn't do anything other than stare outside the window 😂
You would need to either unassign the flaps and gear and leave them to the FO. or you can set them manually. There is an option to disable those commands in FS2Crew so that the FO doesn't move them.
Glad it helped. I do have a tutorial for PBE - FS2Crew Tutorial | MSFS 2020 | FBW A320 | Pushback Express th-cam.com/video/Ec0AntB6Pfw/w-d-xo.html Unfortunately I don't own RAAS.
@@saltgrater2719 thanks so much! also do you find it more realistic to have your FO read back to you thru your computer speakers or the headset? I can't seem to get the FO's readback to go through my headset for some reason. Even though I have my audio settings configured correctly.
So, I only use headphones. Mostly for making videos like these so I don't have bleed into the mic. However I do have FS2Crew audio routed separately from the rest of my PC audio so that I can record it separately. I've never had any issues with this. This only thing I can suggest is under the audio devices, set both to your headphone output. This would eliminate any issues with switching between headphone and speaker mode. Other than that, it's better to connect the FS2Crew team via their Discord - discord.com/invite/ZJ4HKx727m They will be able to give you proper support :)
Thank you for this video, it is excellent. I have used FS2Crew with FBW a lot, but only on Fenix once. I’m going to give it another go. I think it would be cool if it integrated with the Fenix boarding and Loadsheet system, it kind of feels like doing the same thing in different places at the same time. A question on the Fenix, do you need to apply thrust to taxi? A lot of videos talk about how the A320 will taxi in idle, but I need at least 25N1, below that I will even slow down if I’m already rolling. I’ve check chocks/cones, and null-zones on the brakes. Maybe this is just how it is?
Glad it helped! I agree some integration would be awesome. As for the thrust, I've always found I need a bit to initially get moving and then once up to speed idle is fine with the occasional bump if the aircraft is heavy or going uphill.
Thank you so much for your AMAZING video, not easy to find somethings like that on youtube so double thumbs up for me! Just two small questions. 1) I don't know how activate "...all pax on board..are we cleared to close" FA voice during last 1' minute..I don't hear that and not sure if I disabled or....2) Is there a "turnaround" option to activate before arrival? Thanks lot in advance!
Thanks, glad it helped! 1) This should be triggered automatically. As long as you reply to the FA to say they can start boarding when she asks in the beginning then later on she should let you know that they are done. 2) As far as I am aware there is no official way to start in a turnaround state unless you have just completed a flight with FS2crew.

@@saltgrater2719 Great! I’ve got a question.. How do I now how many meters do I pushback from the gate to be aligned on the taxiway, also I don’t know where do I get the angle of pushback ?? Can anyone help me with that😅
That "Are you sure about that?" was personal 😂
🤣
Very solid presentation. Will be watching again once I have purchased the product. Many thanks.

Thanks A LOT for this tutorial! I have been struggling with FS2Crew for a while, but with this tutorial I FINALLY got the hang of it!
Glad I could help! Enjoy 😊

For me its the opposite. Glad I have watched and will buy this week

You can leave out those ATC requests if you want 😊
Geat video, learnt a lot. Seat belt sign turned on only after fuelling complete though.
Excellent video, really well explained. Thank you
Thanks 😊
This certainly looks appealing. Does it conflict with GSX loading etc?
Honestly I'm not sure as I don't have GSX.
nice tutorial , just is nice to know that when you turn off the APU and APU Bleed together it takes 120 second to turn off APU due to cooling .
Thank you 😊

Cool. I used to have this on fsx. This time i feel is kinda slow... Might give me some anxiety as i think i do things faster while flying on vatsim 😅

How does this product affect or interact with the TCA Throttle Quadrant given that the PM does the flaps, gear and all of that??
You would need to either unassign the flaps and gear and leave them to the FO. or you can set them manually. There is an option to disable those commands in FS2Crew so that the FO doesn't move them.

Make sure that the command centre is running.
LVR CLB for fenix is too bad! its too difficult to adjust it, for FLYBYWIRE A320 it was super easy

Hello I was just wondering is the assist panel and info panel pushback express etc mandatory when using the Fenix?

how do u remove pilot avatar he gets in my way when i fly

why does my fs2crew sometimes play random music
It will play music during the boarding stages. You can turn this off in the settings.

Thanks for the tutorial. The ui is catastrophic. Your video is not. Never seen the windshield scratched like this. Is that a mod?

Excelente 👏
The UX/UI of this program is terrible! Just by improving that it would remove a huge amount of complexity.
Is it still the same? I’m looking to buy, if not are there any alternatives?
Definitely a little bit too much of a chore. Unnecessarily. GSX is fun. If you like to use voice then this is great for you.
Thanks a lot captain👋🏻👋🏻👍👍 Are you real a pilot? ✈️✈️
Thanks for watching 😊 not a real pilot. Just been simming for a long time.
