You wouldn't be the first or the last to drop your phone, a buddy was fishing for the Oklahoma championship and he dropped his phone and car keys. I felt horrible for him, it completely exhausted him emotionally.

I just looked at the standings out of curiosity and it shows Jimmy Mcglurkan won the pro series. Must be a typo.
He was DQ’d from the pro series and the Day 1 Trail well after the awards ceremony and everything because it turned out the Marina was out of bounds (no kayaks allowed back there). So he lost his 2nd place for Day 1 Trail and the overall Pro Series win. He got to keep the win for Day 2 trail tho.
I heard someone say he got DQ'd for fishing the marina.

I tried a tournament but the picture taking was just a pain in the ass and wasn’t fun. Caught 1 fish and got docked because he opened his mouth just slightly. So I decided it wasn’t for me. Congrats on your win though.

@@garywest2250 That Bonafide is a fine watercraft and indeed, a Kayak. However, the spirit of kayak fishing is about having a bit more reverence for simplicity. Fishing big water on a boat that is less safe and agile than a decently outfitted Jon Boat is just... silly. I get it though KBF, fishing chaos, and that grifter Chad Hoover have become big business- Gene is just trying to get his bag. I respect it.
