after watching this video last year, I've floated Wild Horse from Meridian to the county road bridge maybe 7 or 8 times. It is my favorite. Thank you

You aint wronggg with Ft Washita being one of the muddiest rivers I've ever been too! Especially right after a rain, good luck standing on the bank without sinking to your knees!

Where’s the best area to kayak in the state?

That is a loaded question. It really depends what you want to get out of it. Fishing, wildlife, ease of access, community, photography, distance, geological or biological interest… I am a fan of whatever body of water is close by, but I love that I can take it places and explore.

@@CentralOkla okay. What’s the least muddy and silt-filled river you’ve explored thus far?

@@DrinkingWithTim I would probably say the North Canadian from Enid or Yukon to OKC/Stenchcomb is almost always a good float. Mostly because the city controls that flow rate. But if you get into this, you really want to pay attention to the depths and flow rates, cause most rivers have a golden spot you want to be in. Part of this project is to track down and find that information.

North Canadian doesn’t run through Enid buddy, it comes out of Canton lake.
