I'm a mig and tig welder starting work in a custom exhaust shop, this is definitely inspiring me to do more things with my craft. currently saving up for my own machine and i hope to produce my own frames someday.
This is the best fusion tutorial i've ever watched. I wish I had thought to get on TH-cam when I was framebuilding, the new era of framebuilding is way cooler!
My wife told me last night she wants to build a bike. Myself, an experienced fabricator and tig welder just jumped down the rabbit hole of frame design. How I wish I could just find plans for her size and my size, but this video will be a huge help in designing of the frame! Thanks!
your video came just in the right time. Its been many weeks i'm wondering how i could start to learn, designing a frame is a perfect start, thanks a lot ! You made my interest in frame building grown over the past months with your video, keep going !
This is super helpful, thanks. I'm using OnShape instead of Fusion 360, but all the same rules apply and this got me going on designing my first frame.
I really appreciate your videos! I was signed up to go to UBI last year, then Covid hit and I had to cancel. Hopefully the future allows me to go soon! Keep spreading the stoke, no matter your content!
I like this Sir, its my first to see such wonderful design build of bike frame using a software..How about the traditional drawing using paper and all?
Greetings, and thanks for the great channel! I have a quick question for you. Thanks in advance for any help you could provide. I am having a Ti frame built for me. The frame company does not offer the eTap specific frame (no shifter cable braze ons) so they are going to just make me one. Then I got to thinking... well while I'm at it why don't I tell them to just forgo the brake cable braze ons as well. Modern brake systems are either enclosed hydraulic tubes or fully housed steel cables. So "cable stops" for the short sections of housing are really not needed any more. So why not just forgo braze ons and secure the hydraulic hose or fully housed cables with some tape or zip tie or if you want to get fancy some of those little velcro straps you can buy. Your thoughts? Thanks again.
Great vid but I am having massive problems getting my frame drawing to turn black and to pipe. I am usin g the latest version of f360 - are there any differences in your instructions?
how are you typing/renaming in the dimension? it won't allow me to. also how are you so quickly duplicating dimensions of objects with the name? Thanks for the videos!
Nice. More Fusion 360 videos would be great too.

I knew a little about bike frames and a little about CAD but this video finally helped me understand how to stick the two together. :)
At the moment we have an eternity. Go for it. Vid is very helpful thanks a mil.
I'm not sure how I got here, but this is an excellent tutorial/explanation. I've never used Fusion but I'm still jealous of your skills.

Thanks for a great tutorial. I’m not a bike frame guy but I learned stuff I can apply elsewhere. I’ll check out some of your other videos.
Really cool stuff! Never used parameters as input.

I think it would be cool if you do a very specific things you need to build a hard tail mob frame, not tools but parts of the bike
Does the seat stay bridge actually serve any structural purpose on the frame besides V-brake and fender mounting?

Very useful
Good video. I hope your still making vids..
I am so busy, but I intend to get back to video creation before too long.
what is the BBDiameter ?!?!
To prevent your dimensions flying away, go to Preferences / Design / and select “Scale entire sketch at first dimension”.
