They were the 90's! I appreciate looking back, they were a rock band from the streets, they didn't cover up their Manc accents and didn't compromise. 10CC sang with American accents - I had no idea for years they were from Manchester. People from that way - really were totally considered yokels, flat cap and whippet types - until the indie scene and Oasis. Then it became cool. The rest is history.

The 90's was awesome. I'm just going to point out that THE KILLERS (a little band from Las Vegas NV, USA) enjoyed an even more rapid METEORIC rise to fame (< 2 years). I didn't think this could happen again after Oasis, but it did; and it can, again; and NO ONE, especially the young kids out there should ever listen to anyone about what you believe and what you can do. Follow your hearts... The rest will work itself out, somehow.
Yeah man but those are sunday-schoolboys compared to Oasis-lads. Rising to fame from Las Vegas isn't that interesting of a story but good for em anyway. Don't get me wrong I like some of their stuff.
