I actually bought the Rapidity one a month ago just for the stickers and used my own parts for the rest lol. It’s nice seeing so many people care about this beyblade when Takara Tomy clearly didn’t

I’m actually shocked that this Beyblade didn’t get released. And it’s because, when I was little, my grandma had bought me a set of rapidity beyblades and Dark Poseidon was one of those beys in that set. Because of it being a fake, I thought it must’ve been ripped off of the official Beyblade but considering it doesn’t exist, I guess this the only case where the technical official release of a Bey was done by a counter fit company lmao

Takara did this going back to plastic gen. Galux was essentially a Pink version of Galeon, Takara just released a Pink re-color of Galeon in a random bootster ircc and if you wanted the bitchip for Galux you had to get it in a bitchip booster pack. A similar thing was with black dranzer ircc where you can to get the actual black dranzer bitchip from a booster.
Fun trivia with MFB is the initial pre-hybrid wheel system Quetzalcoatl never came out and the version of Quetzalcoatl that did come out was originally going to be Cancer
The rapidity version is so easy to find which is why I got stickers for them and just coated it with clear cuticle coat
I don't have Takara parts but I changed the metal wheel to a Takara Tomy Dark metal wheel so it's lead free and perfect for display
I don't think they ever released an official anime accurate sticker sheet for dark poseidon.
They released the yellow purple version of the sticker sheet in an extra issue of CoroCoro and a more orange purple version in the movie book.
The anime accurate sticker sheet you showed was made by Nayuta.
He used the yellow purple version as the basis and that's why you can still see some yellow parts in the anime accurate sticker sheet.
Probably because Takara Tomy felt that you could make Dark Poseidon on your own since Aquario was an easy part to get and 145 was a lot more accessible than Aquario and Wide Defense was also an easy part to get and the Dark fusion wheel was easy to get.

This is honestly a fever dream I remember looking up TT beys at 12 on my giant desktop and stumbling across this bey and having it as my screensaver but never knowing the name just the color
Perhaps they never planned on releasing it and was a one off since the aquario wheel exists as aquario, so releasing it renamed would be weird. If they wanted to release it they’d probably wanna make a new clear wheel.
I didn’t know this existed and I think it’s weird that it even exists in the first place.

Actually Earth Aquila has a brown Track and Bottom. For the 145 you can get it from prehybrid Aries and the WD from Gravity Perseus.
I remember it not only being in the movie, but it was also in the beyblade metal masters video game as well
Yeah, I find that kind of strange that dark Poseidon wouldn’t have its own energy ring but it would’ve been so much better if it did
Take storm Northern cross for example, the facebolt that it uses is actually used by minor characters with generic Beyblade‘s and never had its own energy ring because it was meant to be a filler facebolt

In my opinion the metal saga will always be the Pinnacle of beyblade, especially when it got around to the 4D system
Recently got a lot with these stickers on a dark wheel, facebolt and wolf energy ring
If they officially released it with its own energy ring or make a 4D evolution, the solar system would be ALMOST completed

Putting together this bey was somewhat complicated for me, and no one changes the clear aquario for its use in competitive.
If you know, the mythology of Haiti's poseidon and Zeus is should have been in that. This should have been in the show.
I would love to know how much the custom Bey with stickers would cost? Because metal series tops are somewhat obscure now and those stickers were super limited, so it could probably be sold for a pretty penny.

I wished we also got a beyblade based on earth or gaia.
It just irks me a bit that we got the sun and all the other planets outside of earth.
I'm aware that in the anime gaias power was split into the four season beys, but I just want a beyblade specifically representing earth or gaia.
I guess if a dark aquario can be poseidon, then the next best thing for gaia is probably earth virgo.
A Beyblade based on Earth would have been so awesome!

It's so weird seeing Takara Tomy cares so little about a Beyblade that's integral to a story. Even some of the custom stuff that I've come up with is way more in depth than that.

Idk why they couldn't... you went a whole mile to make sol blaze and didn't for this bey is just backwards they could've built it from the ground up and had a dope ass bey but it is what it is at the end of the day I never heard of it but that with sol blaze would've been nice
