My man. This is exactly what I needed. My wife got one of these for our daughter’s truck and I had to install it before she woke up. You saved Christmas in my house. Thank you brother. 💪💪💪
You should push down on the cover when unlatching. Makes unlatching easier but more importantly it is easier on the latches. Over the long haul your latch ends will degrade if you continue to unlatch without pushing down on the cover. Thanks for the video.
Thanks for the video. Just purchased one of these covers off Amazon for my F-150. Seems like a nice easy install and the shot at the end does make it look real good!
Awesome cover!!!! I’ve had mine on for 2 months now. Let me tell you, I can go through a car wash and my bed stays bone dry. All my expensive covers over the past years leaked like a sieve. Thanks for the video. 👍
Glad I watched your video, I didn’t know how to install the bulk head part, even with the instructions that came with the product showed any detail I had to connect it to the rail and attached it with a screw , I seen the screw but didn’t know 2&2 went together, I was gonna return it
Great video..couldnt figure out what I did wrong until I watched this..put the two side rail pieces on backwards ..have to flip them around and switch sides..i guess like a wise man told me its better to spend twice as long planning something then it is actually working on the project itself..like I said great video helped alot..
Great video guy , Liked that you did it all over again and putting the 3m strip on it. I ordered mine on EbAy for 140 so coming back to see your video.
They make covers for those post holes on the top of the body sides. Nice looking tonneau cover. I like the way it is installed over the edge of the bed, not like some that are inside the bed and thus reduce the width of what you can put in the bed easily.
I wasnt talking about the stake pocket holes. The previous owner drilled into the top of the bed rail of the truck to mount the tool boxes. I think I only added a couple seconds to show that.
Paid $180 on Amazon, super easy to put on, I recommend using vice grip on bottom bolts and 10mm socket on top.. couldn't find my drill adapter so had to use elbow grease. My last cover blew off but this one ain't going anywhere..!!!
I'm torn between the Switchblade and Bakflip MX4. Soft tops aren't an option at this time, due to theft. I know a hard top can also get broken into, but it's more work than a Razor Blade Slice and sometimes thieves don't want more hassle, so chances are, they will move on once their is a hard target. Great video and thanks for Sharing 😊
I have a good sized gap at the end of the tailgate afraid water or spiders might get in. Is yours flush sealed or is there a slight finger sized gap at the end of your tailgate?
Thank u Ryan your video was on point very detailed help me a lot the directions that came with tonnea cover are hard to understand again thanks. Installed it on 2018 Toyota Tacoma I love it.
I got mine in the mail today. This is the 1st video I've watched about it and you make it look pretty easy. I hope mine goes that well. Question though, how long did it last? Hot and cold weather, I live in Oregon, it's raining right now or I would be installing it right now. Thank you for the video.
Good looking out! I’ve been looking for a cheap one to install just for a little extra privacy when I’m at Walmart etc. I don’t keep anything worth stealing but hey 🤷♂️ people these days you never know. But thanks for the video
am wondering what the width of the cover is? I realize that this video is a couple of years old. I am trying to find a tonneau that will fit behind my 27" wide tool box. I have a full size bed with the open space measuring 68.125 (L) x 64.25 (w). Would be grateful if you can provide the width measurement of your cover. Thx. bg
Looks like it’s pretty decent quality and an easy install! How’s it holding up after rolling/unrolling many times? I currently have a button tonneau cover with 3 supports that go across the bed... Pain to take on and off, especially in the cold. Not to mention the cover is from 2004... Looking for something cheap and easy to roll up and back down. I haul dirt bikes often and like to have the bed covered when I’m not using it.
Surprisingly i had the same question before i ordered it but noone was there to ask. I did this video in june of 19 and its almost one year. I will be doing a update video on it. The cover has been great and has given me zero problems so far. It gets hot here in sc and i thought skmething would happen but nothing so far. It hasnt stretched yet either. Im pleased with the cover so far.

Excellent tutorial, show how easy it was to incorrectly install, & how easy to correctly install. I had an ‘04. But my cousin was out of a vehicle & desperately needed a truck, so.... @ least it has a good home.
I have one of these, very happy with it. Has anyone had the cover unlock while going down the road? Mine does often, I do see adjustment tabs where the cover attaches, do I have it too tight or too loose?

I like that cover, good video on installing it. I have a quick question. I just picked up a truck just like yours but the GMC version. The tailgate on mine has the exterior door tailgate handle shaved off and relocated to the inside of tailgate, so when i want to open up the tail gate I gotta do a reach around to the inside to open it. I noticed in the video you can access the inside of the bed through the sides without having to unlatch the end part? is that possible?
How's the bed cover holding up ? The product on the link says its for 07-13 new body style . Is that the one you got ? I have an 06 Silverado. Wondering if it'll still fit.

I'm buying one for my tundra but I was going to pull the trigger on the tri-fold version on amazon. The only reason I didn't like it is because only 3 out of 4 sections fold back leaving a good chunk unfolded. This roll up version seems ike I could roll it pretty much all the way back when not in use. Can someone share their thoughts/opinion on the matter?
Its doing surprisingly well. Its not the most secure cover and the sides are tight. If someone wanted to get into it they could so easily by just downing the tailgate if its not lockable. The sides are semi tight, however someone might can get their arm into the cover but not much more. It keeps everything dry in the bed as well.
