The Life and Tragic End of Earl Monroe is the title, but misleading, since there was nothing disclosed about the tragic end of Earl Monroe. I wish that TH-camrs postings would be faithful to their titles.
@@NBASadStories how sincere can the apology be if the click-bait title is still the same 2 months later sorry I stole yr time now I'll steal it again and apologize again, or not
The outrageously misleading title and headline of this video appalls me. Yes, Monroe was a great player, but there is nothing in this video about personal tragedy. Earl Monroe did not have a career or after career life like Reggie Harding or Allen Iverson. You should be ashamed of yourself for the misleading pitch of this video.
Earl "the Pearl" Monroe was a great player, and while he may have grew up in certain hardships, it wasn't like this story is being told. If you want to know his life story, read his autobiography. It's simply entitled EARL THE PEARL. 🏀💯
@@NBASadStories You are a bbitch azz nigga for putting this video up.. Your mother is a running dog 🐕 with no teeth ! en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Earl_Monroe
I just saw the end of an episode of Shorty's Dream Shop. His son gifted his dad, Earl, his Cadillac Eldorado he had for many, many years. Although, I didn't see it before the "on frame" restoration, it was magnificent. His son definitely made his dad's day. I'm not much of a sports fan, but Earl was a ball handler for sure.
You talk about him joining the Knicks and "pairing him with Willis Reed", but no mention of Walt Frazier. That's ridiculous. That was all the talk at the time - the Rolls Royce Backcourt.
To whom it may concern; some of the info in this video is "BULLSHIT!!!!!" How the hell you gonna mention Earl Monroe's time with the ny Knicks, and don't say nothing at all about Walt Frazier? Instead you gonna pair Earl Monroe with Willis Reed. Earl "The Pearl" Monroe and Walt "Clyde" Frazier was one of the greatest backcourt combination in the history of the nba. Not one sound of this was talked about in this video. With the ny knicks, it was Earl Monroe and Walt Frazier.
Earl Monroe is still alive and, as best I know, has and is still living a very full life. He had a great career and is highly respected. What tragic ending?
Many misleading statements.,you left out gus Johnson jack Marin, from Baltimore team, CLYDE Frazier Jerry Lucas of 73 knicks all great teammates of Monroe...Allstar 4 times you forgot 2 aba -nba Allstars games...get your facts
