My Q60. Just because its more rounded for DD. I get Heat Steering wheel, AWD, 360 camera, Blind Spot, Remote Start, Intelligent cruise for long road trips. When it comes to power and handling, well that's just depends on how deep your pockets are and how bold you are in spending. Someone will always spend more and be faster or quicker than you. As I get older I want more refinement and the Qs offer that. Now a Z as a secondary, fun car that I alternate with the Q, then sign me up but if I had to chose one, it be the Q.
9 speed makes this obvious imo . Qs do look way better tho I think

I can see why a Q will be a better suit for a DD. It’s much more practical.
now you get a q60 and your as good looking as the z and luxurious as the 50 👍🏻I have a q60 but definitely would like a 6speed z

I love the looks of the Q better, but I want the tech that’s on the Z!!! The LSD, transmission and built in launch control on the Z is AMAZING!!! Can’t wait to see the build brother. Great comparison video!

Couldn’t you realistically swap the manual from the Z into a RWD q60? Haven’t looked into it I just figured that would’ve been viable.
9 speed is very good transmission, came out of the Benz amg cars.
Yep, trans cooler and the casing is aluminum making it lighter. Should be able to handle big power without any massive mods like the AT Z34.
Q50 is a transmission and minor chassis update away and it can be a very competitive car again.
I still think it does well for having an old trans.
Does the Z have the adaptive cruise control/lane keep/traffic jam features?
Sorry I forgot to mention that, yes it does as standard for all specs.
My q50rs paddle shifters are on the steering wheel not the steering column. Is it different in the q60?
I believe the 2018+ have them on the steering wheel now.
will the 9 speed is a zf transmisson that is developed between nissan merceds and zf
The 9 speed is a Mercedes design that JATCO had the license to use and implement their own TCU logic and such. Nothing to do with ZF.
I know it’s an old model but I recently had my engine replaced and on the receipt it says I have the c and D model turbos. Does that mean by any chance I have the same turbos as the ones the Z has. ? I have an awd q50 redsport if that will make it easier to answer. If this a dumb question I’ll take that criticism too 😂
lol honestly they’re all about the same. The Z is the only one that is slightly different, but internals are likely the same.
It looks like the Z comes with a front strut bar for handling. Can the same strut bar be installed on the Q50? If not, I think there are aftermarket strut bars available for the Q50, like the G37 had.
There are aftermarket options for the Q’s.
@@ZillaFullBoost Still, Infiniti should've added it to Red Sport. Isn't the Red Sport Suspension a bit firmer than a regular Q50? The sway bars are thicker.
@@crod6431 I think the only difference is the electronic dampening on the shocks.

I think the RWD Q’s can make it happen.
There’s already aftermarket for an lsd for the q it’s about 800-1500 from z1 motorsports

I just realized my Q has the OBDII port on the left, closer to the parking brake. Yours is on the right, closer to the accelerator.
Yup, I noticed that when I got in the Demon Q50. I guess 2018+ changes location of the OBDII port.
Q50 looks better.
Something about the Q’s look aggressive yet elegant.
@ZillaFullBoost They look sleek with flowing, smooth lines, the sport versions. One time I got into a 370 at the nissan dealership getting service and I felt claustrophobic and uncomfortable. OK for a jet fighter or anything similar for a purpose but 40, 50 60 years old using every day just not fun. I could never daily a corvette because hard to get in and out over and over.
Also I think the newest front-end redesign/redo/upgrade I've seen helps to split up the big square grill. It's all just about personal taste and just subjective.
@@GettingthruLife I agree it is subjective. I personally like the 2016 sport front bumper over the 2018+.

You're comparing a 7 year old Q50? The updates (front and rear facelifts/apple play) make the Q a better car all around. The Z has smaller stock turbos so if you mod, the Q is the better choice.
@@ks-bg5uk They’re both my cars so why not? I’m not here to convince anyone to buy a Z. If you want 4 doors by all means get a Q.
If they would’ve at least put jatco’s 9 speed in the 2024 Q50 I would’ve went with another one.

VG30DETT has a forged crank, and cast iron block you bore. VR30 needs a stroker kit to replace the crank to make over 500hp, and a sleeved aluminum block. The major difference is the VR engine has to be completely rebuilt to make over 500hp. VG30DETT can make 700hp with stock block. VR30 probably can't make over 500hp without cracking the crank. The 350Z crank cracks around 510hp and 370Z cracks around 530hp. So I am guessing the 3.0 might not be able to make a reliable 500hp. The 2023 Subaru Impreza 2.0 is 2900 pounds with a manual AWD and it is cheaper to turbo and rebuild the engine than this new Z. Subaru can make 600hp easy with a rebuilt engine. The new Z is 3700 pounds or 800 more than a Impreza. The Infinti Q60 is 3800 pounds or a thousand pounds more than a Impreza, and they're both AWD. The 2023 Impreza is the car to modify. It has hand brake, key, AWD, manual.

stock motor record for the VR30 is 800whp. Im making over 500whp with just bolt ons and E85 lol

The only good Subaru motor is the fa24 the rest are garbage
