@@NICKYLYAN I definitely got some great value as always. And I was pleasantly surprised to find out Leevan is 30. I'm in my early 30s so it inspired me to push my level even farther without giving any thought to age.

16:45 Few things to understand about your bicep tendon : 1 - There is a specific type of bicep curl variation that can strenghten your bicep in straight arm loaded position. These are straight arm preacher curl holds (has to be done with very light weights) this position will mimic the kind of stress your elbow and more specifically the bicep had to handle in straight arm pushing skills, this also will force blood flow in the bicep tendon area. Traditional bicep curls won't help very much because you are shortening the bicep against load (wich never happen in a supinated planche) 2 - You have to understand that supinated straight arm pushing skills are highly risky and that you will never be 100% injury safe. This is a very unnatural way to push something and that is why your body naturally wants to bend the arm in order to protect the tendons (not a coincidence that you have to actively resist elbow bent especially when you start training those skills) Basically, don't overdo supinated straight arm skills and be especially smart when planning those moves in your training
If you are well prepared supinated planche is very safe, especially compared to supinated maltese/wide back lever, van gelders and zannetis. If you have a good level in those elements a supinated planche will feel like a joke. It's all about being used to it because tendons do get stiffer and stronger and the body adapts. A biceps rupture is a multifactorial injury like improper hydradation, sleep, inconsistent training, ignoring pain etc... But at a certain level supinated elements are safe you just have to watch out when you learn those elements. It takes years to condition tendons
@@lock2821 There is some compilation of well prepared people w years of conditioning tearing their bicep performing supinated pressing movement. The risk is so high that , as you said, the slightest mistake in sleep, hydration, recovery can certainly lead in a 6 months - 1.5 year back off in training. If i was an advanced athlete i could totally sacrifice cool supi skills to avoid that.
Your body is so used to the movement that it becomes a casualty. You don't need to warm up to walk, jump, or go upstairs... And for them doing a planche is as easy as walking
