- This is technically Mike's first official hurricane. We did not get any real damage in our neighborhood but our city was beaten up pretty badly. We were nowhere near the landfall location nor did we get a lot of rainfall but this just goes to show how strong and powerful wind can be!

I am so glad you and Mike are okay. So sad. This year it seems really bad for hurricanes. And, fall has just begun.😢❤
I am hoping this year ends with no more storms. There are some potential threats still looming in the distance but we can only stay positive!!
This is Mike's 1st hurricane? Welcome to FL, Lol!! Glad you both are safe. I live in central NC and we got a lot of wind, rain and some power outages. By 3pm the sun was out and it got hot & humid.
I hope you are ok... Seeing the news for North Carolina down here and it looks like a war zone in some areas :(
Glad you’re ok. Thanks for sharing news footage from the TV. I hadn’t seen those. Scary to see the water up to the window of that house.
Yeah that was crazy to see! We went past one house and you could see where the water was inside and it was pretty high for an area that didn't even get hit... I am praying that so many people get a speedy recovery.rehab after this storm
So been hearing about the Milton hurricane. Immediately had to think of you both. I hope you, Mike and all your family and friends are in safety.
I think what I will most remember from this video is the scene of the guy kayaking INSIDE a building.
Keep safe for Milton
Wie habt Ihr Euer Auto vorbereitet?
😅😅😅garnicht.... wir hatten keine "Hochwasser Warnung" 😅😅 das war keine gute Idee!
The laughs became serious very quickly 😢
I believe using humor is the best way to get over such tragic events. Unfortunately this was a lot more than anticipated for our area. We were told that the city would not receive so much damage and I think about 30%+ of homes received major damage.
@@hayleyandmike I didn’t even know it happened till now. I didn’t hear it reported on the news here.
