You'll Never Walk Alone

"You'll Never Walk Alone" was written by composer Richard Rodgers and lyricist Oscar Hammerstein II for the 1945 musical "Carousel". Judy Garland recorded the song shortly thereafter. In the 1956 film version of the musical, Shirley Jones sang it beautifully. Gerry and the Pacemakers had a huge hit with the song in 1963 and it became the theme song for the Liverpool Football Club. Elvis Presley recorded the song in 1967.
