Great video - I came upon it by chance! What does the LCD display next to the tachometer indicate? Is it speed in mph? If so, it seems way out from the main km/h display divided by 1.6.
@@brolyfe8018 it was bloody terrifying on the first session. 😂 I don't ride bikes, last bike I rode was a 125 on the road in 2009 on a provisional. So 100mph on the back straight was the quickest I've ever had a bike go, and that's bloody slow in comparison to others. A mate thought us buying track bike's would be fun, so I ended up with a cheap zx9r on road tyres. I know absolutely nothing about throwing a bike around a track.
@@brolyfe8018 I'll stick at it. Itching to get back out now I've had time to calm down. 😅 I just need to have more trust in the tyres and the bike. Have more balls, Carry more speed and hope the tyres can hold on if I tilt the bike a little. I don't fancy scuffing the fresh paint or my new white rst leathers just yet.
Good stuff, we might see you up there next year so 🤙 Haha yeah best take it easy at first ! What tyres have you? Surprising what a touring tyre can do even when you start pushing them!
Haha cheaper if you're not crashing though 😂 last crash was swingarm bobbins dragging 🤦 I never put the camera on for the first session because it's usually just to get the eye in again.. wish I did though would've had a good shot of Browne coming by 😂
@@brolyfe8018 what size tyre you running on the rear? I’ve heard of pegs causing crashes but never bobbins😳 definitely cheaper not to crash tho. But you will always learn something from it!

Thanks Mike! The LCD is Mph, it always reads higher than GPS, but the gearing is changed for more acceleration so it is further out!
@@brolyfe8018 Cheers!
I was out in the novice group. First ever track day. Got overtaken by everyone 😂.
Were you alright?
Nice mate fair play, how did you find it? Yeah I was good! Luckily.. tendons are still torn in my shoulder from the last crash 😳

Haha it must've felt fairly wild so 😂 fair play just going for it! zx9r is a fun bike I bet! Will you keep at it now?

That was a nasty one! Was this the second session?
Yeah second session mate and first day back after a crash in mondello 2 months ago 🤦
@@brolyfe8018 if you’re not crashing your not trying! You should upload session 1 too. You were going well!

180/60/17! Yeah they were r&g ones, they were grinding off 🤦 exactly that's it lad!
3 laps within 1/10th of each other - good consistent laps there! *Until the obvious! :(
Thanks mate! Yeah lapse in judgement there.. lesson learned 😂
