Buyed this afternoon after failing with Endura Singletrak waterproof jacket. I got wet just where the zip was located. The water get in after 30min raining. Maybe was a problem on mine but i directly upgrade to MT500, that have the rubber zip instead of waterproof zip. I hope it will work properly
I literally just ordered the Endura mt500 full face helmet . Cant wait for it to come
nice to see there is a jacket with more zipper instead of coil zipper, those wear and damage easily.
but I see they still use coil zippers in the arm pit vent and pockets.
I have endura mt 500 last 4 years.It was first year ok, after 1 year waterproof gone. I did everything, wash with tech detergent, tryed everything, put dwr.... I have also gore active jacket, 3 years old, and it is waterproof, it is much, much better material, jacket. I like design of endura, but it is not good jacket, not waterproof if you use it frequently. Better is to buy gore active, waterproofness last longer on gore jacket
I enjoy Endura products, but the MT-500 jacket is a level above. UNFORTUNATELY, I can't recommend it if you plan on not replacing it with any accident off the bike. Did a small OTB and the entire jacket just shredded (you can view it on my TH-cam). That being said, it is incredibly breathable and comfortable. Lots of vents, and a joy to wear.
I had the Humvee, which is 15,000 water resistant and 15,000 breathable. I was still sweating after a few minutes in it. Also the Humvee lacks a lot of vents and pockets. Meanwhile the old MT-500 (version 1) is 18,000 mm water proof (significantly better) and 64,000 g/m2 breathable, which is amazing. But the Humvee is more durable I believe.

Yea but then again what kind of fabric is durable what comes to OTB:s? In my experience haglöf ripstop gore-tex fabric is not any better for expample but taperedseams are better than Endura MT 500. Mine about 1 year old jacket is falling in apart from seams..some of them are literelly loose..maybe tape glue is poorish or sometihng?
