Wilbourn & Sidgwick are back to review everything that happened at AEW Revolution 2024 including the unforgettable and emotional farewell for The Icon, Sting!
I think Sidge made some good points idk why ppl are calling him grumpy. Dude loves AEW and holds them to the highest standard cuz he knows they can be that great
They call him grumpy for his WWE takes I’d guess. Even though he’s very clear in where he’s coming from (and seems to be right most of the time as well.)
“When he did that I felt like I could run through the wall” 😂😂 this is exactly how Sting and the Ultimate Warrior made me feel as a 8 year old and again last night as a 39 year old!! Thank you sting 🙏🏻
Great breakdown of the Ospreay/Take match! I don’t get how people can’t appreciate the sheer athleticism and body control of these athletes. These guys are like when you get those freak athletes coming into the NBA/NFL and you’re just wowed at what they can do.
I love Sidge in AEW reviews He’s been getting a lot of hate for the WWE review (rightly so he’s began to act in bad faith) but when actually invests in a product it nice to here his genuine enthusiasm His criticism is clearly from a good place on these reviews
Something something something moaning about Sidgwick. (More seriously, bit gutted to miss Hamflett for the interplay on this particular show - not on twitter so interested to hear where he's at)
I'll say this major praise I'm not a sting guy through out his career but I jumped up and woke people up. When he got the win. Like my team won the Super Bowl. And that's hard to do to a 40 year old man
Sometimes when I hear "Helloooo" I start thinking he's going to say "and welcome to Get The Table, where Me Adam Wilbourn and The Dadley Boys discuss ---" 😅👍
I love how everyone disects AEW PPV matches down to the minute detail and yet there was only praise for the Royal Rumble which was stale and 100% telegraphed.
No one else should have bled on the show except Darby. Why do they continue to do one of the same things that hurt Crockett ? Women's tag match on pre show was good shit. Great effort and well done all around.
In ring stuff for DG v Christian was fine but the ending was horrible and I think DG should've won. 8 man scramble had the right winner but felt like a pre-show or Dynamite match and anything involving Jericho right now feels forced and toxic, and the women's match was under whelming and Deonna just isn't getting over and I just can't get into her matches. Everything else was great.
1:14:36 just to be clear - what happened when they used real glass....Darby was cut everywhere, could barely work the rest of the match, and required stitches afterwards. So I GUESS 'tee hee cm punk' but a bit more like the meme where the guy pisses his own pants and when the crowd laughs at him he thinks 'rent free'
What you mean sidgwick picking apart some real issues with the moments that where not great, calling out issues and problems and giving a very balanced view of what was the best ppv of the year in all wrestling so far?
@@GingeTillGrey so he looks at it as an holistic overall how did the PPV make me feel, and. on first reflection in the moment of each match it was an almost perfect PPV, then, and he is a critic so is kind of paid to do this, he looks a little deeper amd finds those little things that pull it down a bit, or those things that where missing that would have elevated it. Overall this was the best PPV this year by any promotion, it blew anything WWE has done so far out the water and, unlike prior AEW PPV's the storytelling leading into it was brilliant it was not just a bunch of thrown together matches. But there where issues, and Sidge is very fair in calling them all out while also talking about what was great.
It's so interesting when individual people have specific takes but then people start following others, sheep band together and instead of original thoughts it's just regurgitated crap trap that gets repeated without intelligent thought. It's crazy.
We need both Michaels on this review to get a balanced opinion, since we all know Sedgwick is a AEW mark so your not going to get a truly balanced opinion, same thing goes for most of the other British TH-cam wrestling channels.

His criticism is always constructive and is used to build a better product!!

We got Sidgey
We got Willy
But no Ham.
An incomplete sandwich
absolutely goated PPV
Easily the greatest retirement match ever, combined with that osprey match = a great ppv
Nope Shawn taker was better

"what a flex from the bucks"
Pebbles at giants
Great show. I do worry about Swerve never getting the world title now though
Sometimes when I hear "Helloooo" I start thinking he's going to say "and welcome to Get The Table, where Me Adam Wilbourn and The Dadley Boys discuss ---"
😅👍
I love sidgwicks takes on these podcasts but his level of frequent brutal interruption is approaching autistic
Omega treats wrestling like a joke and sidge loves him
Dax treats wrestling well and does it well and sidge rolls his eyes
What a twat
Is it necessary for Sidge to tell us his age so gd often😂

Needs more kickouts and gymnastics routine in the rumble I agree
@@syedviqar5011 or just someone not telegraphed to win almost 12 months prior
I think if TK swapped the spots of Eddie/Bryan and Garcia/Christan, then swapped Storm/Purazzo and The Scramble the matches would've flowed better.
No one else should have bled on the show except Darby. Why do they continue to do one of the same things that hurt Crockett ?

Women’s match was really good, the issue was it was put in the bathroom spot of the card. I almost feel like it should have been after the scramble.
um Sidgey. Pretty sure Sting's married and his wife's still alive. so hes not completely alone.
No Dr Fed today. The pape was too good lol

Best strike exchange ever?.. seriously? It was embarrassing 😅
I wish my job was to watch TV then complain about there being things to watch.
Yes kick some ass about this tech stuff, watching these after has no interest to many very much myself..
2 min and i dont need to see more. You know how the other 90 min will be.
What you mean sidgwick picking apart some real issues with the moments that where not great, calling out issues and problems and giving a very balanced view of what was the best ppv of the year in all wrestling so far?
Yeah, goated
All i heard was.. perfect perfect perfect… here’s some bits that weren’t great!!!! So not perfect 🤷

@@Ginric99 bro give it up. People just can’t wrap their minds around someone not being biased in wrestling
My friends dog died last week and he was less depressed than Sidge is after this PPV
Sidge loves the ppv, his points were very valid.
He literally said the show kicked ass and he loved it. 😂 you people are way too sensitive when someone brings any level of citicism
It's so interesting when individual people have specific takes but then people start following others, sheep band together and instead of original thoughts it's just regurgitated crap trap that gets repeated without intelligent thought. It's crazy.
Bruv, don't lie. You don't have friends.
Couldn’t have been that good my tribal chief wasn’t there🤷🏿♂️
Which instantly made it better
Then that means 80 percent of wwe tv must be painful with how infrequently he shows up and wrestles. Ouch.

He makes it clear and says it multiple times he's an aew mark. Nowhere does it say anywhere that podcasters have to be unbiased or anything lol
