Im 39 and Stinger was the last remnant of my childhood to sail off into the sunset. All my childhood heros are all now officially retired. Thank you Sting.
man, the resemblance of his sons (Garrett and Steve Jr) to him in the Surfer and Wolfpack periods of his journey are uncanny. Saw the ppv and it looked like Sting went into the ring with two clones of his made at the time
The man put 15,000 people in those seats. He did it before one match was announced. It was because the love and respect the wrestling world has for Sting.
For every single prediction made about the PPV (mine included) not one single person had 17,000 rabid fans singing Seek and Destroy on their bingo card!
WWE themselves acknowledged his retirement. People said TNA was nothing too. Now they've shut up when WWE let the TNA women's champ in the rumble. They'll crawl back into their holes and realize it's them that's incomplete.
I've been a Sting fan since 1988 and I'm gonna miss the stinger he's been my favorite professional wrestler for long time I that's why I'm glad I've got all 3 Monday night froze on DVD that's what I'm glad I got almost all the most every DVD paper view of WCW and I'm gonna miss thing for the rest of my life because of the fact that he's been like I said he's been my favorite since 1988 I've been a Sting fan since 1988 matter fact in 1997 or 98 my mom bought me AE uh I think shirt because II loved thing I talked my mom in buying me a Sting shirt it had And it's when WCW was still around world championship wrestling And I've never liked the I'm never like WWE and a w's the one that I like AEW
I have issues with how AEW specifically went about retiring sting, but at the very least his final entrance was kickass (although AEW could have shot it better so it didn't look like his son was sting at first)
I'll never forget the feeling being there that night. Cried then and cried just now. What an absolute masterpiece this was.
I know, I was in tears from the moment the video started playing all the way to the 3 count
Did you change your tamp?
@@xplosivetg1 Being a man means you can cry. Then again, you're not a man, pussy.

I’m 32 and I’m the same way, it’s still wild to process this to this day
Seems like everyone in the crowd bought the first son as Sting fresh from a time machine.
I certainly did lol
I totally did lmfao

Closer to 17,000 people my dude.
Thanks for posting. It's great to see how the audience saw it.
I freaked seeing his sons in his gear. Awesome!
I wish he still had his old WCW theme song to come out to the end of his career. I'll miss you Sting!
I was pretty much a few rows right underneath you this was amazing to be here
Still in tears watching this

Thank you Sting🦂💥🔥

I would’ve cheered if Sting came out to -- *SEEK AND DESTROY PLAYS* nevermind 😂😂😂😂😂

@Kratoscallofduty @joeydiamonds I was almost directly across from you. Section 210 row G.
@@joeydiamonds No wonder I hear the guy screaming "YEAH" when Seek and Destroy started and went "man, that sounds like me" I was in 228 row L
That was me, I’ve always wanted to see Sting come out to Seek and Destroy
@@joeydiamonds We had identical reactions

If sting retired in wwe he would must lose his last match
Probably to triple H again
Facts
Was anyone from WWE/WCW/TNA in attendance??
I saw DDP, Lex Luger, and Magnum TA. I’m sure there were a lot more in the backstage area
Nikita koloff, Scotty Riggs, David Crockett as well
And wwe fan boys says he is no one

Sting’s entire concept was for people to wonder if it was him at first.

AEW has always taken care of Darby lol
