Perfect molds can make a million foam decoys. Where art and industry merge, nice work budddy.

I appreciated the technical details about the sand.

I liked the groove you made on your box to line things up. Smart!

Nice casting. Just a word to the wise to be careful when casting from someone else's pattern. Im sure this one was a pattern from the owner of the original design but sometimes unscrupulous people will get casters to 'copy' someone elses work cheaper than they can buy it from the copyright owner of the design. This could potentially cause litigation problems if the owner of the design decides to sue. Its like if someone bought one of your sculptures and then used it to copy your work and sell 1000 of em cheap. This would cheapen your art work and you might not be happy about that. Like I say, im sure thats not the case in this instance but it could be an issue another time. Just a thought. Im new to your channel so im looking forward to binge watching your great videos. keep it up.

Hey sir, I have a one piece foam duck decoy I'd love a mold of. Would you be interested in something a little bigger?

Check @swdweeb channel out, specifically his video on offset pouring basins. He teaches why it's bad to pour straight down a huge hole, which sucks lots of air and creates turbulance (which disturbs sand when flowing etc, and creates defects/voids etc)
    th-cam.com/video/ubaFnNA0_ps/w-d-xo.html
The whole of his playist "Learning to Cast Metal" I'd heartily reccomend to you, just start with the Offset Pouring Basins, it'll help a lot! Guys easily the best sandcasting teacher I've ever seen on TH-cam! (And I think I've watched everything on the topic now haha) :)
