It was a magical time to be alive in the 70s..I was only 10 years old when Mandy hit the airwaves in 1974 on AM radio..It was played all the time and was such a huge hit from a very talented singer..I miss those carefree days and the wonderful times spent growing up with family and friends in a more simpler life..Thanks for sharing..🎶🎵🎸😁👍

There were two girls that I remember in particular that were stuck on Barry Manilow and this song. 1974 was such a long time ago now, but I remember....so much has happened to all of us since then, and listening to some of these songs is somewhat bittersweet. One of the girls/ ladies has since passed away.
I have been watching a lot of reaction videos to Barry Manilow, in particular Mandy. I have seen others also say they don't know what is going on inside them, and that the song is speaking to them. So interesting. And, Barry ALWAYS says that's all he wants to be remembered for. To make people 'feel' something.
