Thanks Marko, you are by far the best finance channel. I have been following you since 2018 and you have significantly helped our family's financial situation. I wonder what is your take on staking BTC by converting it to WBTC and risks involved. I am not a finance person but have developed a decent risk tolerance.

Crypto stocks are definitely on my radar now, especially with Trump’s policies and Bitcoin climbing back over $90K. With all the market uncertainty, this might be a good sector to explore for growth opportunities.
I agree. Even with great opportunities, we should proceed cautiously. Seeking market analysis or advice from certified market strategists is important.
Absolutely, having a solid plan is crucial. My portf0lio has doubled since early last year. My market analyst and I are working towards a seven-figure goal, though it might take until Q1 2025.

Crypto is risky as many would say but I think the actual risk in Crypto is not investing. Basically, I just made my first $300,000 in crypto market and I barely know how to express how happy and excited I am right now.
I'm new to cryptocurrency and don't understand how it really works. how Can someone know the right approach to investing and making good profits from cryptocurrency investments?
As a beginner investor, it’s essential for you to have a mentor to keep you accountable. Myself, I’m guided by Alex Mathew . A widely known crypto consultant
I started working with Alex Mathew back in June, and my financial goals have never been clearer. It’s like having a strategic partner for my money with a solid track record.
With Trump's re-election, both US stocks and Bitcoin are seeing strong gains. I'm eyeing the potential for more market volatility, but Bitcoin's all-time high is interesting. With inflation and interest rates on the rise, I'm wondering if this is a good time to dive deeper into stocks or focus on crypto for diversification. Any thoughts on balancing both?
Investing without proper guidance can lead to mistakes and losses. I've learned this from my own experience. If you're new to investing or don't have much time, it's best to get advice from an expert.
A lot of folks downplay the role of advlsors until being burnt by their own emotions. I remember couple summers back, after my lengthy divorce, I needed a good boost to help my business stay afloat, hence I researched for licensed advisors and came across someone of utmost qualifications. She's helped grow my reserve notwithstanding inflation, from $275k to $850k.
How can one find a verifiable financial planner? I would not mind looking up the professional that helped you. I will be retiring in two years and I might need some management on my much larger portfolio. Don't want to take any chances.
Svetlana Sarkisian Chowdhury has always been on the top of my list..She is regarded as a genius in her area and well knowledgeable about financial markets. I highly recommend you look her up if you want excellent collaboration..
I finally bought my ledger nano. Black Friday deal. Plan to start with recurring $10. Can't do 100 yet 😉 I want to check how it works and after a while make it my long term savings account
I think investors should always put their cash to work, especially In 2025, we'll start to see more market diversification. Considering the performance of bitcoin lately it is safe to say the crypto market is the best smart investment out there. Hoping I’m not the only one with this thought

Absolutely.. based on my personal experience working with an investment advisor, I currently have $385k in a well-diversified portfolio that has seen exponential growth. It's not just about having money to invest in bitcoin; you also need to be knowledgeable, persistent, and have the strength to hold on during market fluctuations
Talking about a financial market specialist, do you consider anyone worthy of recommendations? I have some money to test the waters now that bitcoin is breaking history... Thanks
I'm new to stock and crypto. I feel like I’ve missed out on good buying opportunities by investing at the wrong times. With a $450K yearly income, I'm considering putting my savings into the market. Do you think I should learn to invest myself or rely on a financial advisor? I'm getting frustrated trying to find the right coins on my own.
Investing by yourself can be risky due to their complex strategies, high fees, and potential for significant losses. Without expert knowledge, it's challenging to fully assess the risks and returns, making professional guidance crucial.
I understand, it can be challenging with substantial savings and a high income. Learning to invest yourself offers control, but partnering with a financial advisor provides expert guidance, strategic diversification, and helps avoid mistakes. Starting with an advisor builds confidence.

Someone correct me if I'm wrong but I believe they go by first in first out. Meaning if you were to sell some bitcoin after buying every day for a year it would tax you on gains or count as a loss for the first day or following days depending on the quantity you sell. US based/authorized exchanges usually ask you to self report any transactions to and from other addresses if it wasn't an internal to the exchange transaction. So if you buy btc on coinbase, then transfer it to cold storage on your own device you can go to the transaction history and self report this transaction to yourself. If you transfer it back to an exchange to sell it you self report that it came from you and if you use the same exchange to sell it I think most will factor the profits/losses for you if you are buying and selling on the same exchange. Otherwise you would have to track the buy and sell prices of what you did on various exchanges and inputting prices and it's an on your honor type system reporting transaction prices/dates. It can be a mess if you use multiple exchanges and constantly moving crypto around. If you DCA (Dollar cost average) like Marko was talking about you could just transfer funds to a cold wallet once a month and you would only have 12 and transfers transactions to go through. The IRS doesn't require you to self report the transactions it is just on the exchanges themselves to help you figure taxes when you sell crypto. It's ultimately your responsibility to report them or not at your own peril.
I think all you need is an expert assigned by a brokerage company that will trade for you and handle your capital professionally and give you weekly returns of investment without any extra fees attached
Seeing a remark regarding my manager Kenneth Barnett Durham is quite energizing. It was just like this when I first met him a few weeks ago. Having started with just 4k about 2-3 weeks ago, I have already made it to 36 k. he is very remarkable!
Goodness gracious I'm so excited seeing Kenneth Barnett Durham been mentioned here also. Didn't know he has been good to other people too, this is wonderful because I also started with a TH-cam referral like this
Something along the lines of not actually owning it but honestly just buy it wherever is convenient. My gains are just the same as someone buying it like him in the video
Robinhood is shady and they won't say what percentage of assets are in cold storage like other platforms. They say most which could be 51% and that's TERRIBLE. Most transparent places have in the 90% range.
I still don't fully understand the Cold storage method. What if that little device gets corrupted? Are you saying that you still have access to it if you still know your 24-word seed phrase?
so if you happen to lose the hardware or it gets stolen. as long as you know the seed phase that's tied to your account you can access it? no matter the brand (ledger, trezor, etc.)
Is cold storage a hedge against River tanking? I.e. If I have my bitcoin in cold storage and River goes away, can I go to another exchange to sell my bitcoin?
If you have your crypto on cold storage it is not associated with the original exchange you purchased it from so you can move it to another exchange to sell. Keep in mind it's not a bad idea to have a couple exchange accounts (i.e. Coinbase, Binance, River, etc) setup in the event one of them has issues.
Bitcoin never leaves the blockchain, your wallet is a window into the blockchain. If your window access is through an exchange and the exchange goes under, your window shattered and is now boarded up. If you have your own wallet and keys you can take it to another exchange. If your cold wallet breaks and you have your keys you can access your crypto on another wallet. Satoshi Stackin 💪
I presume that the chances that the cold storage (hardware wallet) might be broken is low, but it's definitely not zero, right? What is the right way to mitigate against that?
You can take a hammer and smash the first hardware wallet, buy another similar hardware wallet and enter the original seed phrase to see your BTC. It's the seed phrase you must keep in a safe place.
!!Elon Musk has played a major role in the campaign, especially in sectors like energy and automotive. With Trump winning, there's uncertainty, as the market has been full of surprises. It's wise to follow professional advice.
already, I can see wild swings in the market due to the trump win. I am really confused on how I can make gains on my $500,000 on these market movements without any loss to my money.
Agreed, I'm in line with having an advisor oversee my day-to-day investing because my job doesn't permit me the time to analyze stocks myself. Thankfully, my portfolio is well-diversified and has just 5X'd in 5 years, summing up nearly $2.7M as of today.
The market will always undergo changes and various challenges, so if you want fo reach your goals , you have to be really focused and do your due diligence. Also having a financial consultant like ferris .H.
I'm focused on investments for retirement. I've heard of people generating substantial passive income, like someone who earned $650K in under a year on a podcast. What's the strategy for such returns?
Find quality stocks that have long term potential, and ride with those stocks. I have found it takes someone who is very familiar with the market to make such good picks.
Opting for an inves-tment advisr is currently the optimal approach for navigating the stock market, particularly for those nearing retirement. I've been consulting with a coach for a while, and my portfolio has surged by 85% since 2023
Melissa Elise Robinson is the licensed advisor I use and im just putting this out here because you asked. You can Just search the name. You’d find necessary details to work with to set up an appointment
Marko what do you think about holding bitcoin on Fidelity paypal robbing hood? Also what percentage is a good rule of thumb in a diversified portfolio?
I had problem comprehending trading in general. I tried watching other TH-cam trading channels, but they made the concepts more complicated. I was almost giving up until when i discovered content and explain everything in detail. The videos are easy to Follow
I've been making a lot of looses trying to make profit trading. I thought trading on a demo account is just like trading the real market. Can anyone help me out or at least advise me on what to do?
Trading on a demo account can definitely feel similar to the real market, but there are some differences. It's important to remember that trading involves risks and it's normal to face looses sometimes. One piece of advice is to start small and gradually increase your investments as you gain more experience and confidence. It might also be helpful to seek guidance from experienced traders or do some research on different trading strategies
New to bit coin- When you transfer to hardware when do you decide to sale. My guess you keep it in hardware the price you purchased at and sale if the price is up. When do you know when to hold or when to sale or just hold and hope it goes up say 7% as a market would? In the video it might be a good idea to add the cost of a hard wallet.
As a new investor, it's important to remember that investing and trading require more than just technical analysis skills. Discipline and emotional maturity play a significant role in achieving success. It's wise to keep in mind the adage of "time in the market vs. timing the market," as this mentality can help you weather market volatility. With insights of Harry’s Dent and my commitment to learning and growth, I've been increasing my earnings in just a few months. Keep up the good work..
Over the years, I've been a part of numerous trading programs, sifting through a barrage of information. Yet, nothing has come close to the sheer clarity, depth, and precision of Harry’s Dent insights.
So, do you need an armored truck to transport your cold storage wallet? J/K. By the way, how do you know this cold storage device doesn't have degraded memory like an AMP shock or X-ray?
I just signed up for River and made my first weekly dollar cost average transaction yesterday. I use a Trezor hardware wallet. Can I store River BTC on Trezor?
Marko- love you channel and thank for what you do. One comment though- you ALMOST owned up to your bad FTX recommendations of the past in this video. Would have been nice for a 100% owning of the bad call.
Do you trust River enough to just leave your BTC there? Or do you typically send it over to your ledger every so often? Thinking about setting up a reoccurring buy for my daughters.
@@WhiteBoardFinance you mention sending it outside of river (because it does it by itself?). Do you mean you can set it up so it auto transfers your purchases to your ledger? Or do you every so often go in and manually transfer from Riv to your ledger? Just set up my acct using your link. Thanks for the advice!

Can I ask a stupid question, if I buy FBTC on Fidelity and the thought is “it ain’t my Bitcoin, it’s theirs,” how is that different than buying stocks on Fidelity? I don’t technically own that share, or shares of stock, Fidelity custody’s it with the “promise” that I own it. Does this make any sense? Or am I wrong? Is it apples and oranges?
Your understanding is correct. If you buy stocks through Fidelity, you don’t technically own them and they can be seized. I encourage you to read or watch the documentary “The Great Taking” by David Rogers Webb for more insight to this subject.
Not an expert, but buying stock entitles you to part ownership of the company, which is a legal thing which happens to be through a brokerage. The fundamental "decentralized" nature of Bitcoin is that once it's in your wallet with your keys, no one else can take it. It's yours like holding gold in your lawn. So if you trust the exchange to hold it, it's legally yours but if fidelity crypto, river, or coinbase gets compromised, the Bitcoin is gone and you can't get it back, laws be damned
The continuously changing economic conditions in our society have made it necessary for people to find additional sources of income; thus, I am looking at the stock market to fuel my retirement goal of $3 million.
Keeping some gold is usually a wise decision. You would be better off keeping away from equities for a bit or, even better, seeking advice from an expert given the current market conditions and everything that is at risk with the current economy.
Agreed, despite my rookie knowledge of investing, I have a financial advisor who did the trick in a bit more than 6 months after a lump sum capital of $500,000, and I've so far made a fortune. I'm now buying real estate, gold, and silver as advised by my FA.
I truly appreciate the implementation of ideas and strategies that result in unmeasurable progress, thus the search for a reputable advisor. Mind sharing info of this person guiding you, please?
Caroline Suzan Olson is my financial advisor. Just google the name, and you'd find the necessary details. To be honest, I almost didn't buy the idea of letting someone handle growing my finances, but so glad I did.
@ Oh sheesh.. So should I just sell it all?? I had some in the robinhood wallet (not the trading platform although I have some there too) I thought that was secure.
@@TheTwentyJuan So apparently I spoke too soon. I guess since April 2022, Robinhood has the functionality now to transfer cryptocurrencies into hardware wallets. The only drawback to this would be that Robinhood is KYC (Know Your Customer), if that's a risk you're willing to take. But my advice to you, would be to get a hardware wallet (I use ColdCard and Blockstream Jade) and get it off the exchange.
Commissions are still way too high, it says 2% round-trip more than selling stock by phone in the 1980s. It should be 90% less and more competitive to modern stock trading fees especially because there's no humans involved.

If your cold wallet breaks and you have your keys you can access your crypto on another wallet. Satoshi Stackin 💪
I presume that the chances that the cold storage (hardware wallet) might be broken is low, but it's definitely not zero, right? What is the right way to mitigate against that?
The Bitcoin doesn’t live on the cold storage. The wallet simply creates a seed phrase.
You can take a hammer and smash the first hardware wallet, buy another similar hardware wallet and enter the original seed phrase to see your BTC. It's the seed phrase you must keep in a safe place.
@@mm55421 I see... thanks!
What happen if the files in the wallet get corrupted or the wallet itself is damage?
I have the same question. I have had flash drives go corrupt after few years. I am going to stay away.
That’s not how this works. There is nothing on the wallet. The wallet just creates your seed phrase. Don’t think of it like a hard drive.
This is huge! Your advisor must be grade A. Mind sharing more info, please? I'm in dire need of proper asset allocation.
Personally, I take guidance from a well-spoken advisor, ''harriet ferris'' She's quite known in her field of work with over two decades of experience.
I've been consulting with a coach for a while, and my portfolio has surged by 85% since 2023
Could you kindly elaborate on the advisor's background and qualifications?
Melissa Elise Robinson is the licensed advisor I use and im just putting this out here because you asked. You can Just search the name. You’d find necessary details to work with to set up an appointment
Thank you for the lead. I searched her up, and I have sent her an email. I hope she gets back to me soon.

I will advise you should stop trading on your own if you keep losing.
If you can, then get a professional to trade for you i think that way your assets are more secure
Thanks!
As a new investor, it's important to remember that investing and trading require more than just technical analysis skills. Discipline and emotional maturity play a significant role in achieving success. It's wise to keep in mind the adage of "time in the market vs. timing the market," as this mentality can help you weather market volatility. Yes there are other wallets that use the same type

can you do one whole video of using river to send over your crypto into Tandem 🙏

Marko- love you channel and thank for what you do. One comment though- you ALMOST owned up to your bad FTX recommendations of the past in this video. Would have been nice for a 100% owning of the bad call.
*Looking to embark on my investment journey but unsure how to proceed. Any recommendations for credible mentors?*
Do you trust River enough to just leave your BTC there? Or do you typically send it over to your ledger every so often? Thinking about setting up a reoccurring buy for my daughters.
Not your keys not your cheese
@@WhiteBoardFinance you mention sending it outside of river (because it does it by itself?). Do you mean you can set it up so it auto transfers your purchases to your ledger? Or do you every so often go in and manually transfer from Riv to your ledger? Just set up my acct using your link. Thanks for the advice!
You set a threshold amount and point that withdrawal to a wallet address. It then automatically gets sent to that address.
I've been looking into cryptocurrency investments, but I'm still unsure about the best and safest way to go about it. Any advice or insights you could share?

You can use cold card
my head just fell off! had no idea getting off an exchange was a thing.

I think they all do this. Binance did the same
Can I ask a stupid question, if I buy FBTC on Fidelity and the thought is “it ain’t my Bitcoin, it’s theirs,” how is that different than buying stocks on Fidelity?
@ Ok, I can understand that perspective.
that's why many who invest in GME have Direct Registered their shares with Computershare (holding company)

I agree Marko, send me some BitCoin for a Xmas gift! 😁
No Robinhood?
NO! You don’t own the BTC if it’s on an exchange. Never buy bitcoin on Robinhood
$93K today! Can you do some more Bitcoin videos? Like what's multi-sig? Not too sure if that's too technical for this channel it's about finance
Multi-sig is simply using two hardware wallets to sign off transactions. If you really want to be secure with your Bitcoin, you need to go this route.

Purchase a new Ledger device and use your SRP to restore and access your assets. This is the recommended course of action. Then, restore your device by entering your existing SRP.
Import your SRP into a third-party wallet that supports the BIP-39 Standard to gain access to your assets.
