    If only investing were taught in schools, it would give people such an advantage. My biggest regret is not starting earlier. I just turned 54 with not enough set aside for retirement and awfully late to investing with barely any portfolio except my 401k. I have always been curious about the market and have witnessed people who played the game right and retired early. I have a decent amount of cash saved up and with inflation currently soaring AGAIN, I'm getting worried about retirement, my intention is to retire before 60. How best do I maximize my savings of over $120k?

    • @Vanessa5054-s7r
      @Vanessa5054-s7r 15 วันที่ผ่านมา

      It’s never too late for you. What you need is the right investments and your life is set. I'm 58 now and just started investing some time last year,,, Didn't start with much.. And I made my first 100k USD 5 months later. And today, I have a decent $250K portfolio. I should retire soon as long as things remain this good. My only regret is not starting earlier

    • @RemyMacDonald-w7l

      How did you manage to achieve that level of growth?

    • @Vanessa5054-s7r
      @Vanessa5054-s7r 15 วันที่ผ่านมา

      Diversification did it for me. I ventured into real estate crowdfunding, stocks, and the digital market. It took around 6months. I needed to approach it from a different angle. I got my answers, and its been smooth since then. My CFA has been great, clearly my best one yet. I achieved this much with His management.
      What you need is a CFA who can assist you in managing your portfolio while diversifying your investments

      I'm approaching retirement and having a financial advisor has been helpful. I started investing later than most, so relying on compound interest from Etf's or bonds alone wasn’t enough for me. Despite that, I’ve managed to do well and am on track to retire with around $2 million

      The market is not necessarily a rollercoaster if you know your way around the market, there are various opportunities in the present market to accrue good profit, If you are not too savvy with the market, just buy and hold on strong companies with good earnings, or consult with advisors on ETFs and actively managed funds. that’s what works for my spouse and I. Amazing video, A friend of mine referred me to a financial adviser sometime ago and we got to talking about investment and money. I started investing with $150k and in the first 2 months, my portfolio was reading $274,800. Crazy right!, I decided to reinvest my profit and get more interesting. For over a year we have been working together making consistent profit just bought my second home 2 weeks ago and care for my family.

I see "rock and hard place" fed positioning driving up long duration bonds and stubborn stagflation lifting commodities in the medium term. Long term I agree bonds aren't the place to be due to reckless fiscal. Also, short duration bonds are still paying higher than MM.

    Prepare spiritually. No matter how well you invest/prepare you are soon going to make a choice.
    Revelation 13: He causes all, both small and great, rich and poor, free and slave, to receive a mark on their right hand or on their foreheads, and that no one may buy or sell except one who has the mark or the name of the beast, or the number of his name.

      @@WhiteBoardFinance Marko, I am a big fan of Taylor's Three Fund Portfolio (see his book) but I have lost faith in the Total Bond Market index since interest rates went up causing losses at the same time the stock market went down. With shorter term Treasuries, money market funds and CDs yields at 5% and higher, a ladder composed of these seems to be a better stock diversifier with less risk. Duration risk is real. Thanks for your excellent videos.

      I agree. There's a lot of potential in the market. My friend introduced me to a financial advisor in 2021, and even though I was skeptical, I went on. I finally was making enough monthly dividend to quit my soulless job and pursue my dream to start a restaurant in New Jersey.

      Hi. I’ve been forced to find additional sources of income as I got retrenched. I barely have time to continue trading and watch my investments since I had my second child. Do you think I should take a break for a while from the market and focus on other things or return whenever I have free time or is it a continuous process? Thanks
