The new tanks look awesome. Great idea with the pump and the three-way valve. Time is money. Although, stopping for gas at the breakfast place is hard to beat though 😜 Great place!
When i switched to a bigger aluminum tank was one of the best things i did. I have a 17 gallon low profile fuel tank under my skid. I have a carb spacer that you will need also to draw vacuum to run that pulse pump.
Best tanks! If the preservation of the look of the aluminum… SharkHide is the way to go! I use it on all new aluminum equipment / parts and it actually works. 2 years later and looks like 2 weeks.
5-6 gallons a day….daisy chain both the new gas tanks together. May last a week. Make a bracket for one on top gravity feeding the one on the bottom. Give it a thought
@@derrickbell3087 I have used 16 gallons in 2 days work, out of 17 gallons of fuel. With a single gx630 8gpm. Other than that 17 gallons would last me roughly a week depending on the jobs.
@@fbombpowerwashingllc yes but sometimes he has 2 ppl on 2 machines doing apartment complex etc. and like he said it saves time from having to go to the gas pump. Ig im constantly working 2-3-4 jobs a day, I’m going with both tanks. It’s better to have more than not enough. Even if you don’t fill them up all the time
@@derrickbell3087 my nexted setup that I'm building, will have a 30 gallon and 3 engine on that one tank. Every setup is slightly different for everyone. And also depends on the job at hand. I do 1 or maybe 2 jobs a day and that 2 day job the pressure washer ran for 20 hrs+ . But as I stated for me being solo 17 gallons would normally last me a week. But also depending on the jobs I do or have .
With your schedule always being so full, how to you manage to shuffle 2 weeks worth of jobs around and still managing the other jobs already on the schedule? Do you just hear into over time for a while until you catch up?
We are currently all caught up on work. I have about a dozen misc projects we can do if the weather breaks. Otherwise we aren’t cranking again until March. Now is down time. Rebuild and reset.

Great point!
@ its not fresh apple pie, but it’ll do 😜
Raynham, MA is about 15 minutes away from me, Those fuel tanks are awesome!
Nice. Do you know Derek?
Nice! I just got my Boyd’s welding 22 Gal fuel tank for my trailer about a month ago. Quality tanks
Good choice!
Gonna be slick, was gonna say, “fire” but inappropriate when installing a fuel tank. 💪
@@brianaird2193 thanks for being considerate 🤣

Where did you get the valve to mount on the pressure washer? I have wanted to do something like that but I didn’t know how to do it.
The downstream proportioner is from Midwest. I made a video on it a couple days back
Joe where do you get that pulse pump?
I got mine from my local farm equipment dealer. But lots of options online. My understanding is the metal more expensive ones last longer. We’ll see
@ I look forward to seeing your video about this when you get a chance. Cheers!
@ certainly
you still work in the winter if so are you washing
We only wash if weather allows. It’s pretty sporadic in the winter here.
Is your truck a 10 or 12’ flat bed?
11.5’
@ perfect that’s what I’m looking to build next year. Also having the full crew cab is a must.
