Been watching you for a while, man love the videos happy new year!! There is many lighting and outlets and electrical inside that garage door so runoff spray or mist or overspray may hit and can damage I buy these shower caps from like hotel supply stores and just put shower caps over all the outlets just to save myself last thing you wanna do is fry an outlet.
Chris Miller from VA here. We spoke the other day about the customer service issues from our favorite vendor. Good job on the concrete Joe. - Probably as good as it will clean. Concrete is very absorbent so much of those contaminants are in there an inch or more. Possibly the only approach that I might do differently having cleaned literally millions of square feet of concrete over the years is a 17" buffer with a black strip pad which is far better than a scrub brush. 30lbs or so of constant down pressure. A sanding screen on the buffer is also an option possibly for the more surface stain/contaminants like paint etc. Another option is Sodium Hydroxide powder so you can make it stronger than the concentrated pre made stuff. Also an acid like Muriatic for the acid sensitive reactive stains. This is hydrochloric acid. HCL is in aluminum brighter and One Restore also. Muriatic is much cheaper and stronger. About 3 times stronger that One Restore. Clean it up as much as it will clean and up-sell them on putting a primer and Oil-based pigmented stain down for $5 per foot or so. Happy New Year!!
about the bird nesting... I have the same setup as you from Leon and I experience the same thing. What I do is wrap a thick black adjustable rubber bungee cord around the hose on the reel making sure to catch the end of the hose coming off. This keeps tension on the remaining hose and keeps it from unraveling. I tried posting an amazon link but YT wouldnt let me. The company is called The Perfect Bungee

For the hose birds nesting you can tie string around the hose and onto the reel so there isn't any slack where it meets the reel. Stops it loosening. But it is a pain doing it that way.

I'm not as advanced as alot of y'all but have you ever tried any sodium Hydroxide maybe I don't know if that will etch the concrete or if it'll even do anything , I know I've spilt some on my garage floor and it ended up cleaner than the rest of the floor without damaging it. just a thought my friend..
When it comes to bay cleaning of course heat is always your friend but I find even using cold water machines I tend to surface clean then lay a degreaser scrub dwell surface clean rinse and squeegee and that's gotten me some pretty good results I use zep industrial purple degreaser from Lowe's I use dynamite I use golden assassin as far as the chemicals I've only found a slight difference so whenever I run out and I need some before I can make an order I'll go to Lowe's and pick up this purple zip degreaser and it works just as well for the most part
Add some heat to that rig. We have just a stand alone burner that we can couple into our 5.5, and our 8gpm. Great for concrete cleaning, truck cleaning, and when the weather starts to get cold we turn the heat on, just enough to get the water nice and warm, seems to activate the SH alot faster and less chemical

(Dwell Time Is Key Usually) Depending On The Situation, Laying EBC & Gold Assassin Or Reverse Order. (Dwell Between Applications) Sometimes Haze Is Left Over But Muriatic Acid Will Remove Most Of The Haze. (Aluminum Brightener Works In A Pinch) EacoChem An Elite Line Products. Best In The Market It, In My Opinion. Great Staff & Customer Service Across The Boarder. They Literally Have Everything, Never Been A Schiller, Check It Out If You Have A Time. 🔥 Best Wishes & Blessing To Your Family & Business ♥️💯
Here is some useless info… that is one of the extreme rare floors that is cut properly at the drain to avoid cracks. We pour /cut our concrete that way around drains for the last 10-15 years and have had great success w avoiding cracks by cutting at those angles. I’m sure other masons do it but this is my first time seeing it.
Not every stain can be removed, but if you want stronger degreaser, talk to the supplier you use for your SH and ask if they can get you sodium hydroxide.

Most guys in KEC are mixing their own degreaser, using sodium hydroxide and/or potassium hydroxide. Look at virtually any degreaser and you’ll find that the main ingredient is sodium hydroxide, you’re paying extra for water, a label, and a little surfactant.
Start with heat and tgen use whatever you like. Nothing will beat the heat. I dont know why so many people don't know this. Good luck. As far as the reel... buy a new one that works better.
😂 Well… we currently dont have heat. Not that we dont know heat clean grease best. Also, there is no better reel than the stainless Hannay so that’s not the answer. Heat is on the list for next season upgrade
