I think it's funny that for previous expansions, you didn't have to redact the trial names with the exception of final trials but in Endwalker, each trial name is a big spoiler.

There is a slight wrong explanation at 6:00 that wasn't specified before. After she changes her weapons to either in or out the next mechanic is always pre-determined. If she does in then the next mechanic is going to be shared tank busters and if she does out then next mechanic is going to be raid wide. It is not guaranteed to be a raid wide after she changes her weapons there.
After the second set of Lightwaves near the end, the boss will then cast Ice crystalize (spread), combined with Aureole/Lateral Aureole (Front/Back or Sides + Spread). Afterwards, I -think- there's a weapon swap? Followed by Earth crystalize, with another (Lateral) Aureole, followed by the sword swap (intercards), followed by enrage. The DPS check is pretty lenient though, even min ilv you can get away with a ton of deaths and healer LB3 and probably clear.
Small correction for lightwave 2, the crystalize she casts at the end of the mechanic is randomized. I got wiped too often by surprise ice crystalize 😭
Do them, they're really not as bad as you think. its just learning. theres 'Learning Parties' in party finder that are specifically to learn the fight, and its expected that theres gonna be growing pains and a kill is not guaranteed.
You can do it!! I just got my first clear of 6.2 EX with strangers I met in PF and became friends with!!! It takes a while of practice but when you get it it feels amazing!!!😊
When i did my first ex/savage, I’d go blind and deaf, and forget to breath. Now I may get those feelings again, but I tend to run those duties like a machine

Tried a prog party tonight, got rekt on the first waves. We could get to that, but not past it. I feel I was probably the weak link because of how fast things move and how my nerve damaged hands slow me down a tick. I'll watch this a few more times, and then maybe try again later.

No, there is one. Near the end, if you don't get your DPS damage up high enough, she will enter big Enrage mode and fuck you over. It happened to me and my static several times already.
Excellent guides as always but for more clarification on those doing the fights. Staff = AoE, Chakrams = Donut and Sword = Cross AoE (Intercardinals are safe). There isn’t time to always see the colours so if you don’t notice them look at the bosses buffs. Also after the Crystal Phase what weapon she uses depends on what happens after and it’s random, you can always tell what it will be by the element she imbues, for example Chakrams is always water and Staff is always Ice.
