- Coming Into his freshman year with Kentucky. Reed Sheppard wasn't looked at as a major NBA prospect. But after just 1 season, Reed Sheppard turned into a college basketball star. And he's currently projected to be a Lottery pick in the NBA Draft.

Sheppard and Kolek will be the best PG's in '24 class because of the same qualities Stockton, Nash and Rondo possessed. They understand spacing, timing, and TEAM ball. And not only do these guys understand these concepts, but they treat every play on both ends of the court as such and with urgency.
I have to agree with your breakdown of Reed. Great job and I hope he goes to the Rockets to mentor under FVV and be coached by Udoka.

Imagine if you can get Reed + Sarr on the Rockets.
Reed/Jalen/Amen/Jabari/Sarr would be an amazing 5 man lineup that should play well together on paper.
Lesser developed John Stockton passing vision, Tony Parker craftiness at the rim, and Steve Nash 3 point shooting.
My ceiling comp for Reed is John Stockton with a bit better shooting, rebounding & D (vertical). I like your triple comp.
Reed being mentored by FVV and coached by Udoka my just well push him into a future HOFer.

He wouldn’t play tho. Fred and Thompson at the 1. And Jaylen green taking up 30 minutes and that’s not mentioning whitmore. Not saying not as good as these guys but only so many minutes. He needs to go the spurs or pistons or hornets where he can come in and get 20+ minutes off rip and work up to being a starter around year 3

I would rather have one of the bigs to go alongside Sengun and Jabari but i wouldnt be mad with Reed. He can definitely end up replacing FVV. To be honest im already ready to move on from FVV and Brooks. Amen, Cam, and Eason are ready to step up. I really like Buzelis as well but not sure how he'd fit. 🤷♂️ Just my take.

The next Payton Pritchard. Not explosive, doesn't create, and not really a playmaker. I'm puzzled how he's the TOP PG in the draft when he wasn't even the top PG on his team? He shot 52% from 3 making 2.3 out of 4.4. Rob Dillingham shot 44% making 2.0 of 4.5. So he's the best PG just because he shots .04 percent higher and that's it?
