দূরপাল্লার ট্রেনে যাত্রার ক্ষেত্রে ঠিক এই সমস্যা হয়েই থাকে। শিয়ালদা - পুরী দুরন্ত বা রাজধানীর মতো ট্রেন গুলো LHB কামরার গাড়ী। এই সব গাড়ী গুলোতে যাত্রাকালে ঝাঁকুনি অনেকটাই কম মনে হয় যেগুলো অন্যান্য ট্রেনে (নীল colour এর ICF কামরার ট্রেনে) অনেকটাই বেশী। এই LBH কামরাগুলোর স্পীড নেবার ক্ষমতা ঘন্টায় ১৬০ কিলোমিটার; যদিও ভারতে একমাত্র "হজরত নিজামুদ্দীন (দিল্লী) - ঝাঁসি গতিমান এক্সপ্রেস" কে এই স্পীড permit করা আছে (শুধু হজরত নিজামুদ্দীন থেকে আগ্রা পর্যন্ত)। আর বাদবাকি রাজধানী, দুরন্ত বা শতাব্দীর গাড়ী গুলোকে highest speed limit ১৩০ কিলোমিটার/ঘন্টা দেওয়া আছে। একটা ICF ট্রেন ১১০ এর স্পীড নিয়ে চললে পুরো কামরা যেভাবে কাঁপে সেটা just এককথায় ভয়ঙ্কর। সেই জায়গায় LHB ট্রেনের ঝাঁকুনি তুলনামূলকভাবে কম। যদিও সেই ঝাঁকুনিও ভালো ভাবেই টের পাওয়া যায়। এই কামরার একটা সমস্যা হলো যে ট্রেন থামার সময় হঠাৎ কেঁপে ওঠে যেটা ঘুম ভাঙানোর জন্য যথেষ্ট। আর কিছুটা রেল লাইনের ওপরেও depend করে সেটা।

Mayurakshi..one of my favourite train to Suri. 2012 theke journey korchi till now. Sei Diesel jug theke electric sob e dekhlam. Onek parallel dekhechi, even Coalfield k overtake korteo dekhechi with WDM-3D kintu akhon Dumka obdi extend korar por Mayurakshi r glory ta onek Tai kome geche. But tobuo Mayurakshi is always a king ❤

সিউরিবাসীর কাছে হুলের পর একটাই বিশ্বাসযোগ্য ট্রেন ময়ূরাক্ষী। সবার এই ট্রেনের সাথে অনেক স্মৃতি জড়িয়ে আছে। Student দের কাছে তো এই ট্রেন অনেক popular। 2015 থেকে journey করছি; ডিজেল loco নিয়েও দুর্দান্ত journey র অভিজ্ঞতা আছে। এখন P4 নিয়ে চললেও সেই ব্যাপারটা আর নেই। P5 বা P7 আবার রেগুলার লিংক হলে হয়তো glory টা আবার ফিরে আসবে।

when ( before 2009/ 2010) mauyraakshi fast passenger was ran in howrah barddhaman cord section, he was ran like rajdhani express. no stoppage between Howrah to barddhaman. he always take parallel action with coalfield express between barddhaman to panagarh.

Must say the 53046 DN was doing 112 Kmph and 12302 DN well around 130 kmph, and I must commend the aged loco pilot doing duty on board 53046 DN WAP 4 locomotive (I have seen him at Howrah preparing to park the loco before deboarding, he looks close to 60 years age) for his expert skills!

Bonkers overtake by the KING of E.R.
The chase sequence was uber cool to say the least. It looked as if a Cheetah was running at full speed to catch its prey. Thunderous overtake, but should say P-4 was giving a superb fight. It wasn't a cake walk for Rajdhani. Crossing with Hool Express was awesome specially the way it suddenly came out of the light mist.

Mayurakshi fast passenger is very good train. Its speed in HWH & DGR section is very good and when I used to travel , I generally hope to see such terrific battle with the Rajdhani. 10-11 years ago , when Mayurakshi used to ply in CHORD line , such parallel battle with RAJDHANI was more frequent. But, now , its rare, I think it travel in MAIN Line now. Your video has brought back some of my old memories. Thank You. Great Captures.

Yes ! You're right. Mayurakshi now runs via Main line. It almost runs like a superfast train between Howrah and Durgapur. However, the Up train now frequently makes parallel race with Sealdah Rajdhani just before Barddhaman. The Down train always gets high chances to make parallel with various trains of late-running Kolkata bound trains on the Andal - Barddhaman section. Thank you so much for watching.
