I do agree, people tend to be reluctant helping people with disability because they don’t want to hurt the pride of those people with disability. However, this widen my perspective towards this kind of situation.
Same here, everytime I see people with disabilities crossing the street I've always wanted to help them but can't afford to do so because I might offend them in a way. This really opened my mind 👍🏻
me too. i saw a man in a wheelchair struggling on a crosswalk..i was hesitating should i help him or not..then the light almost turn red, i was about to go and help..another person already jump in...
Its so nice to see people going out of their way to help someone they don't even know. This shows that while it might not be the most convenient thing in the world, small gestures of kindness can really make a difference in peoples' lives.
True, but only if the person wants to be helped. One day I saw a man struggling with a weelchair and I asked him if he wanted some help, but he said no. I think he wanted to do things by himself, even if it's tiring and hard, and we have to respect that.
I love this video and how helpful these people are. But! As someone with a disability and is in a wheelchair, please always ask before pushing! Even if it looks like they're struggling, please ask them to make sure they need/want help! Sometimes if someone just randomly sees me and starts pushing, I appreciate their thoughtfulness but it's also a really vulnerable position to be in. It's like if your legs were hurting and some random person just picked you up. Not very comfortable. But sorry for being negative, this video is great and I love the helpfulness!
I was thinking the same, so I'm happy to see this 😅 I don't think it's negative -- as their intentions are so good! But it's also important to be vocal for how vulnerable it does make one.
Yes, I think it is really important to recognise that most individuals with mobility issues like to be and feel independent and like to feel that they have 'got this,' so it's always best ask, 'How can I help you?'
As a person with a disability myself, I try my very best not to get in the way of others and do things myself as best as I could. I never want to burden other people. And I have to admit its because I dont want people to feel pity for me. Because I love myself even though I am in this state. I dont want people to think that I am helpless. But sometimes things just don't go the way I want them to go and I may experience things like this, too. It is so heartwarming to see people who are always willing to help. I always feel appreciative towards them.
I really love how people helped her even though she didn’t drop anything yet, they knew that she was in need of help and was struggling a bit and I really love that. We need more people like that in this world.
I've heard that old People in korea act like they are Higher than everybody else and expect the young to move first but this Old man helped her was amazing Also by higher than everybody I don't mean they've alot of ego . Just that They demand respect. No hate😬
@@marcellinob7822 Mayb you were always kind to them so you never realised. But then again Idk for sure since I've nvr visited korea 💔. In Europe no such things as respect so everyone stands in line and don't give the Old Their seat..So this European lady was tellim her experience that she didn't let the Elders go first so they'd just push their way or give her glances if she didn't offer them first. I hope this isn't true thou :)
This road is so wide that you'll miss another chance to cross if you go back and help her. *But some people is still amazing, there's a kindness implanted in everyman's heart.*
Plot Twist: the man helped her because he needed to know what animal was her doll. 😂 Edit: I find it sad that I need to add this disclaimer, but people are commenting about me being rude and not understanding that my comment is made in good fun. I KNOW he helped because he’s a kind person. I’m highlighting his liking of the stuffed animal because the behavior is CUTE. No one believes he only helped because of the stuffed animal. It’s a joke. Around 2.4K people understood this. If you don’t get it, oh well.
Hm, that's quite a bold statement hahah. It can depend on which parts of the country has more generous or good moral people. I find it happens a lot in America or at least where I live and what crazy acts of generosity I've seen. There is a reason why many people who visit American comments on how crazy friendly we are compare to their country (I mean have you seen how much we do charity and acts of kindness ?). Make no mistake though that a lot can be very closed off. Regardless of countries, people are always moving fast and busy. It's those who slow down and show acts of gratitude who truly define hope in humanity.
It gives me hope that there are more good people in this world than bad but also actively good people on a daily basis, their actions make the world a better place for us all. Blessings be with them all.

Well done to all that stopped to help. I live in Adelaide in Australia. One day I was in the city and I went to help a blind person cross the road. They told me that pretty well all others did not offer any help and that some actually walked into them as they were crossing the road. Come on people, show some respect to these people who have been dealt a cruel blow.
Some of them actually don’t like the help, I meet someone with a wheelchair and they refused my help and didn’t seem to like it, some of them think that you’re pitying them even though you don’t, so I think we should give the help when they ask for it so we don’t hurt their feelings
yes, most people with physical disabilities want to get asked first before you help them. Also, never touch someone without their permission, your intention might be good but think about if some stranger starts touching you in public, you dont want that, right? ALWAYS ask and talk to the person first.
Alex Bssecret yes you’re right, but it’s not like I started touching them or moving their wheelchair, it’s just that I opened the door for them but then he said to me thank you I can do it myself don’t open the door for me I’ll do it, so I felt bad that I might have hurt him by what I’ve done, that’s why I’m saying that we should help them when they ask for help
@@Meowmeowwwwwwwwww yes, I agree. It was very nice of you to try and help. I learned from a blind person who told me he hates when people help or worse touch him without even talking to him first, thats why I mentioned it ;)

Man that older gentleman especially who was going the opposite way. Warms the heart to see this.

I think he wanted to do things by himself, even if it's tiring and hard, and we have to respect that.
it’s reassuring to see there are still lots of good people in this world

I’ve heard people say that Koreans are just bystanders, but this videos says otherwise, and it’s something that I like to see! ❤️
It's a very good point. We'll have to keep learning more.
I hear you.
It's always great to give assistance but I agree, it's polite to seek for permission to help.. Thanks for sharing

And this, kids, is a perfect example of what doesn’t happen in America.
I've seen this happen countless times in America. Lol
And not only the country but the whole continent
That’s not true- a lot of people help other people
Or in India.

That's tough
yes, most people with physical disabilities want to get asked first before you help them.
