I love floral fiesta! New free art supplies are and always will be very welcome! :) I've used Caran D'ache oil pastels before to paint Hibiscus and Anemones, but they have been abandoned for a while now. I may reach for them today. Love the shape and colors of those sticks. Your painting reminds me of the ancient florals by the louvre metres. Thank you for sharing, Tracy.
If you slosh your tea upon the rug.........toss spaghetti against the wall........the aftermath would be creatively artistic. It is just the way your cookie crumbles..
So grateful for this really lovely demo, really stunning. Thank you, Tracy!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Also, I just contacted Lightwish because I could not find where to add your coupon code. Also, thank you for that. XXX Sondra Borrie
Thank you for this video. A couple of years ago I spent a year exploring oil pastels. While I did achieve some nice finished pieces overall I felt the set did not have a good range of mid tones I expected of them. The set did not have very nice greens either. I only pull them out for mark making now.
A whole year to explore oil pastels! That’s wonderful. I feel like I’ve just begun. I can’t wait to receive the other two sets from Light wish so I have the whole range of colours ❤️
Looks great. Do you seal it or spray a fixative before putting behind glass (if you were to do that)? Sorry it's a stupid question. This method is new for me. I'm just wondering because of the oil in the product. Thank you. Coming to you from Puerto Vallarta, Mexico
Beautiful! I just found your channel. I hope to see more of your painting processes because I love what I've seen!
Love this and it kinda has a Ken Done feeling, maybe just the colours. Those pastels are beautiful!
Oh thank you!
So much fun watching your process!
Thanks so much!
Love this!!

Great video. Can’t wait to try my Holbein oil pastels, mostly brights in my set. BTW I love your t-shirt.😊
Thanks Victoria! The t shirt is a hand me down from youngest daughter. 😉😁

Thank you, Tracy. I really enjoyed this video. I'd like to know which paint brush pens you use. Thank you. 🧡💛

Really fun to watch this evolve. I'm keen to give it a go. Do you need to seal this piece or do the pastels eventually dry.
I seal it with a fixative if it’s going to be sitting around for a while. If it’s being framed soon then no need xx

Apologies for the delayed response. I’ve been travelling and teaching. You could either use a fixative or a spray varnish over these oil pastels!
