Fun fact : copper (and any metal for that matter) doesn't have a smell. What we smell if the result of chemical reactions between different oils/greases of our skin and the metal. Try washing a penny and drying it, being careful not to touch it with your skin, then smell it : no smell. Then touch it with your fingers (if you didn't wash your hands recently it even works better) : now it will smell.
So, we actually never smell metal. We smell the chemical compounds that are the result of a reaction (I think it's a kind of oxidation reaction) between lipids of our and metal. Since the oil composition of the skin of different person is different, the resulting smell might be different based on who touched the metal (also different metal might give different reactions too).
I smelled this yesterday. Great scent!! I’m picking this up before the winter is over. Cool review.

Great review, I sold my bottle of the original and picked this one up. I agree with you, this is a stronger version and I really like it. It smells very similar to me, the only real differences I noticed were a slightly brighter mandarin / rhubarb in the opening of the original and a richer overall scent in the intense version. Intense version is the way to go.

Thanks for reviewing this fragrance. I bought the first release and like the smell, but the performance as you've noticed was weak. After noticing your review of this new Intense version, I bought it and agree with you that this one smells stronger. Only problem is that I don't know how well it projects, as I have not yet get one single compliment or comment from anyone around me? Your experience? Any compliments?
Try spraying them on the sleeves of your shirt I do they seem to last a little longer to me than on my skin

I’ve ordered not only 1 bottle but 2 bottles of the Lacoste intense, I love the original an The first time I wore it it lasted all day on my skin so I can’t wait to see what the intense is like 😁
Does it last all day?
Is there a noticeable difference between this one and the original? Or is it just that the intense out performs the original? Because I own the original and it performs very good off my skin👌🏽 As a matter of fact I only wear it in the spring and fall because in the summer it projects very loud off my skin 😅

Great scent. Got about 5 hours which is ok. Cheap enuff u can refresh later and it won't break the bank.
Lacoste makes some awesome smelling frags, but unfortunately the performance on all of them are mediocre at best.
This one definitely beats the original in the longevity category but, yeah overall they lack in that department. Thanks for watching buddy!
You are absolutelty correct. I have several bottles and Lacoste fragrance could last longer. Their overall performance is not the best.
I got it from my wife and first impression was hugo boss iced but for sure not d&g the one. I do like it in general as casual scent. Great video 👍

I would say that I rather agree with those who says that the performance of this fragrance is not the best. I've picked up one bottle and yeah: this is really lasts around 3-4 hours max. For comparison: Dior Sauvage dominates when those two in the room.

I really dont understand why houses can spend so much money and time to create sometimes magnificent scents and not invest the performance capabilities. YSL for instance, some great offerings but all known to absolutely not perform.
