- Anthony Woodville, Earl Rivers: brother of Elizabeth Woodville, brother-in-law of King Edward IV, uncle of King Edward V. When Edward IV died, Anthony was tasked with bringing the new King to England for his coronation. The trip didn't go as planned.

Edward wasn't put in the Tower on arrival in London. He was housed at the Bishop of London Palace for several days. He may not have moved until mid May. This was after consulting the Council and Buckingham was the one who suggested the Tower. So they moved to the Royal apartments in the Tower, a Palace, mint, fortress, busy hub, etc and sometimes a prison but not as it was under Henry 8th.
We know there was a plan to crown Edward V because Richard ordered a number of people to come as knights and to be made Knights of the Bath. He also ordered robes etc., some for Edward and his brother. He was doing this up to 9th June.
John Tiptoft was the master of ceremonies for the Smithfield Tournament.
I hope this book puts to bed the myth that Anthony Woodville and Richard Grey were executed without trial when the sources say they were tried before Northumberland and found guilty of Treason, as you would be in most cases. These things were just that. I do think Anthony was not intended to be executed and was held responsible for his sister's crimes, her coup. He was the victim of EW and her coup. Richard Grey was involved in a conspiracy, even if Anthony may not have been.
