    There is nothing as simple as making home made coleslaw, so quick and easy, and tasty too, and you can put whatever you like in there! Thank you Mr. Foreman. God Bless x

      It's going to go great with the four or five BBQed ribs in the freezer. I figure half my meals come from left overs. Thanks for the comment.

    Jimbo you always show us all a new style. Most would say the older generation have bland recipes but you continue to prove otherwise.

    Wow. I've had lots of coleslaw and make it myself often, both a version with vinegar and a version with mayonnaise. But I've never heard of putting noodles in the mix. I'm going to try to make this on Friday.

      Hi Victoria I did some checking and found that the Villas has three pricing plans on their apartments based on income and assets. Of the 248 units, 100 are "Market rate" and includes a garage with the rest at 50% or 60% of market rate. They probably quoted you market rate for a single bedroom as that was the only thing they had at the time. The waiting list is usually about three years. Two bedroom apartments are about $100 more than singles but with exactly the same number of square feet. Remember, the only utilities residents have to pay is electric and no maintenance charges. You should at least get your name on the wait list. They are building a similar 400 unit low income facility half a mile away and word has it they are already sold out.

    To make this cowboy coleslaw you just need to be wearing a cowboy hat while making it.

    • @JimForeman
      @JimForeman  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I have a rancher's hat but gave my dad's 100 year old Boss Of The Plains Stetson to my son. He is having the Stetson Hat Company restore it to new condition. Thanks for the comment.

    Grandpa make a lot of different foods.
    You are GREAT!
    You're the only one making food at that age!
    The kitchen lights are a little dark.
    Be careful when cooking.

    • @JimForeman
      @JimForeman  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I shoot using the regular lighting in the kitchen, no special flood lights or anything like that. At my age, I gotta keep things simple. The lens on the camera I'm now using isn't as fast as the other camera so the results are darker.

  • @BrendaNolen

    That looks tasty! I don’t know why I never thought of using Italian dressing on shredded cabbage. Regarding your clock, I don’t hear mine unless it stops chiming. lol

    • @JimForeman
      @JimForeman  3 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      Cheap bottled dressing takes so much of the work out of many dishes, also keeps one from having to keep a big shelf of spices. I never notice the clock, even at night. Occasionally a guest will crash on the couch and I usually just stop the clock because even the loud ticking will keep people awake. Freda bought it on her 65th birthday with money from her parent's estate, said she had always wanted one.

      Sounds good to me, way to go. But I think I'd stay away from the spicy ones, they will set your shorts on fire. Thanks for the comment and thumbs up.

      Ramen noodles are one of those "sleeper" foods that few people use. Of course, there is Korea where they are more commonly eaten than bread.

    Aren't the ramen noodles kind of hard though?

    • @JimForeman
      @JimForeman  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      No, they soften up to match the crunch of the cabbage. Thanks for the comment.

    • @FrankZen
      @FrankZen 3 หลายเดือนก่อน

      The dressing and moisture of the coleslaw probably soften them... Especially since they're crunched up. I imagine you can't eat it right away, though..
