The more I watch these videos, the more I am impressed with Mike's ability to maneuver his big boy toys. He has mastered the ability to exploit each machine's capabilities to make short(er) work of virtually everything he does.
Wow, 60 years of nature moving to overtake the drive, corrected and put back like new in what 4, videos? Amazing. I'm glad you had the camera behind the excavator, if I said before, I forget, but yes, that is the sound of power. What is so cool though, your camera mounted on front of machine barely picks up engine sound! I could hear the bucket sliding down the bank, the twigs snapping, the tread rolling and the bucket touching the stone as you pulled the dirt pile. So cool! I bet neither mum nor sis could hear you from the house. Yellow jackets! I don't know their benefits to our earth but ever since I was 5, almost 6 - playing a a softball w dad in our front yard, ball went into pretty bush next to the house, I ran up to it, threw my hands into it and pulled it open to see the ball and tore up a yellow jackets nest. Yep, they lit me up good enough to go to the hospital for a shot! I won't harm a honey bee, but if possible i always get rid if any kind of wasp nest near my house. I will say this again, you are kind to make 4 videos of your driveway repair for us to enjoy. You enjoyed the work, but mum and sis will be enjoying your work for another 60 years! Investing in those machines was very wise, for so many tasks and enjoyment by so many people. Sure do preciate you sharing this w us Mike, enjoyed every minute! 👍🚜❤🇺🇸🇺🇸
Your Mother and sister are sure lucky to have a guy like you in their life. Based on the skid steer work and gravel we did on a 900 foot driveway which wasn't nearly as extensive as what you've been doing we paid 4 grand. I would hate to have had to pay for all the work you did.
Great job Mike, better than the original. Everyone will appreciate it this winter for sure. Stay safe and keep up the great videos, they are appreciated by everyone. Fred.
Howdy Mike. Spent yesterday trimmimg the dead out of the ash trees and then started making ashes. Decided to pitch the tent and get up early and get the fire going again. Sitting by the fire with a cup of joe enjoying your video. Thanks for that!
Great job with the drive way. Don’t know the volume of water coming down the ditch ,but maybe a few rock check dams might help slow down erosion and water flow. Enjoy watching .
Mike - Looks great, and you make it look so easy. It's amazing how much easier it is with the right tools. Blessings to you and the family. Hi to Melissa, Hunter, Levi, Eva, and the pooches.
GOOOOOOOD SATURDAY MORNING EVERYONE OUT THERE IN OWTM LAND!!….Mike great job & fantastic camera angles. Would love to see more drone footage when possible. Keep up the great work. THANK YOU. Have a Day Hello Hunter!!
Hey Mike, Driveway really looks great!! By the way Ive probably buried " flipped" 10 stumps in 17yrs. Its rare!! pretty sure you were gonna school me on the pitfalls of it ,,,,, no need!! I dont put em real deep. Figure its bout same as grinding em. Anyway, you might consider a 4n1 for your loader. Youll love it!!!!. Constructon Attachments in NC makes great ones. Again,,, great looking work on driveway.
Great video on the clean up and ditch work, all the different and creative camera angle and soundtrack choices, with the Kubota chorus in the background was perfect engine about 1800RPM and hydraulics humming never straining, awesome quality content, and the spread on the road was perfect, always interesting presentation, that makes it fun to watch thank-you.
Not that I don’t love your videos because I do. But I miss the tractor days. I could relate more to getting stuff accomplished with the tractors. Tractors were the reason I started watching. I learned a lot from you. I know times change and I’m happy for your success. I just miss the tractors.
Hi from Central Arkansas and thanks for the information about why you burn instead of chipping. Makes perfectly good sense. Love your channel, keep em coming.
Looking really nice Mike, hard work pays off, as i know you know. Thanks for brining your extended family along on the journey. Say hi to Melissa, Hunt man, Eva, Hannah, Levi for us in SE Texas Bear... ♥ Love autumn/Fall you can just smell and feel it coming! Stay safe God/Yah Bless every morning i look for a current vid, it makes this 70yr old man smile.. your videos makes me feel like HOME! ty Brother
I am always the doer... I put myself in your moms shoes here Mike. Good for you. I bet you didn't take a dime from her. I bet she tried. I bet you said,, Mum,, it was great content. I made money on you....... Good on you Mike. I'll take a 1000 of these vide over escaping from home anytime. Loved it!! Great work as alway partner! You are the stone sprinkling KING bud. Beautiful job!!
Autumn = my favorite time of year as well. Ever since I was 5 years old my mom took my sister and me to a place called Starved Rock State Park in Ottawa Illinois along the Illinois River. It had trails all over the place and we’d take our dog with us on the river trail, the bluff trail, there were connector trails, and the leaves and smells (especially when the leaves on the ground were wet after a rain) were AMAZING.
We used to drive by starved Rock heading South just ways is Matthiessen State Park. It was WAY less crowded, had a lot of trails and a waterfall into a pond. Great place to explore with the kids then have a picnic.
Hi guys it's a beautiful spring day here in NSW Australia 🇦🇺 and my birthday 🎂 just letting you know that my hoody has kept me warm on those cold wintery trips to town and takes pride of place in my rotation. Today I wish to make a special mention to your music choices. 🎶 EXCELLENT! Thanks for being you guys. ❤️ from Australia 🇦🇺
Boy! do I wish I had had your Kubota gear back in the 80s when I had my 100 acres farm in Sweden. It was a bit neglected before I bought it but had 100 year old pine and fir forrest that made me a good profit when I sold. With the Kubota gear I could easily have 10folded the value to make it like a park or nice garden.
Nice job on your mom's drive way old boy looks great. If you have a slope that you want to keep in place what we do up here in Northern New Hampshire is plant loopin they are beautiful when they flower and they have a deep tap root to hold a slope.
Judging from the way that grappel took those stumps out clean, that would have been handy at Camp Morgan. Or mabe it is just a combination of a 'perfect storm' of soil, trees, size and grappel.
MIKE, I really think ya loved your former job. You still got 'road building' in your blood!! Mom's gonna love her new....'highway' , I mean... Driveway! Awesome job! Mike.
In fast forward, you work that machine like its an extension of your arm! Now getting towards fall, the weather is finally starting to moderate here in Ohio so we've been having some cool nights and comfortable days. Best season of the year!
Looking real nice. How about that dirt by the skid loader to cover that short section of pipe. Those people say you should chip that brush. I bet not one of them feed a chipper with brush. I've done it clearing for a power line clearing company at a young age. The pay was good but you earn every penny of it. Burning is the only way to go.Truely enjoy watching You in Your element of expertise of road building and landscaping!
Hey Mike, you really compliment the equipment that you use. I would hire you in a heartbeat to work on my property. You really know how to make things come together and look amazing when you're done. Great Job! 👍
Great job mike!, your doing a fantastic job with your equipment!. Its definitely time to grade and touch up the drive and get ready for winter!. I love fall but summer is my favorite time of the year!. Morgans good day!.
Mike, I’d say you’re sure getting your money out of your new grapple bucket on the excavator. I think you’ve used it more than any other one since you got it. Nice job and keep up the great content.
Excellent work on driveway restoration and Excellent videography as always Mike!! Your really good at tailgating the stone and precisely laying it down with the loader!!
Mike I sure do enjoy your town please keep up the good work and you do a great job of picking good music to play with it it's very enjoyable I live in northern Michigan so I'd swear I was looking up my backyard most of the time with the work where you're at there in Pennsylvania but anyway 2 thumbs up guy just keep up the good work I'm enjoying watching you make the videos and it's entertaining good job
Nice clean up and grading operation Mike. It's all about water control and you did an awesome job to keep it under control. At least you have some elevation to work with. Many places here in low country SC we are lucky to get a foot of fall over 1/2 mile. Makes ditch work a challenge
Hello Mike, nice job for your Mom. Im sure I’m not the first person to ask this but it would be nice to meet your Mom. By the way I’m sure you gave your Mom the Morgan discount on all the work you did. Ha ha! Your a good son and I’m sure she appreciates the great job you did. Best Regards Fred Thomas

Howdy Mike. Spent yesterday trimmimg the dead out of the ash trees and then started making ashes. Decided to pitch the tent and get up early and get the fire going again. Sitting by the fire with a cup of joe enjoying your video. Thanks for that!
I can see a boom mounted brush hog in your future to maintain all these ditches and driveways you have cleared this year. Looking great!!!
or a bat wing brush hog or a mulcher head for the Excavator either way he could keep the drives clean
Or a flail mower
Great job with the drive way. Don’t know the volume of water coming down the ditch ,but maybe a few rock check dams might help slow down erosion and water flow. Enjoy watching .
Nothing like having the proper equipment! Looking good!
Very nice job on drive, you make it look so easy, comes with experience!!!
