I am blessed with good health. I suffered severe trauma to my right thigh in 2015, but for the first time in my 66 years I could not shake off the injury. I thought that my pain was due to either Piriformis based upon my symptoms ....or injury to the lateral femoral cutaneous nerve. Recently, an x-ray showed severe osteoarthritis in my right hip. Although I am mostly functional, I have pain that I do want to endure for the rest of my life....I plan to obtain consultation with Baione based upon their videos.

Thank you for such an informative session. I’m going to try PT first, but since my hip socket is bone on bone I will be seeing one of you for a replacement procedure soon. Happy to hear of all the improvements made over the years.

Dr. Kayiaros performed an Anterior Hip Replacement on my right hip April 4, 2022. What a relief to the pain I was in and a very fast recovery imo. Walking with a walker the same day of the procedure! I was amazed on how the pain I had in my hip and groin areas was gone. Sure the incision area and thigh area was sore but the arthritis that was holding my hip together and causing pain was removed and the years of pain gone also. Thank you to Dr Kayiaros and your team at RWJ Somerset Hospital!
