The one time Benson actually pauses to realize his own error in judgment and analyzes the reality of the situation: He has two of the most destructive idiots on the planet in his employ Not to mention the one time Mordecai and Rigby could’ve actually completed one simple task if it hadn’t been for one stupid rock
In Benson's defense, imagine constantly giving a simple task to your workers, then standing there like a mofo, waiting for them to fulfill it. And they just fail miserably Every.Single.Time. i would've fired them a long time ago.
The thing is if Benson fires them they would not be able to keep up with the demand at the park! So, even though he always threatens to fire them, he actually needs them
@@awmusichistory I disagree: he could always find someone else more competent to do their chores. He almost did once, if Mordecai and Rigby hadn't actively ruined it to save their own skin.
I will admit that I am not an expert in Plants but I am very sure that that tree is still useful, you just have to plant it and wait for the leaves and lemons to grow again
Plants need their leaves to create food. A tree does have a store of these nutrients to an extent and is hardy, but is forced to rely on it's leaves. If you feed it regularly in an environment artificial or otherwise that suits it's ideal ecological need, it'll recover, it's a f*cking tree. Hell, lots of fruit cultivars create monster trees by literally just sticking on a branch from another species, so it goes to show how hardy trees can be. The crux of the issue is time, which was the commodity in the transaction. A lemon tree in full health would, in materials, theoretically cost you nothing. You'd be paying for the seeds, if anything. The commodity here is the time the tree used to reach full health and maturity, and you can't buy that.
I loved this show as a kid. I couldn’t never understand why benson was always mad. Now as an adult I know why. I worked in grocery for a few years and had to work with a bunch of dumbass kids/young adults that were from ages 16 to 23 and they acted like Mordecai and Rigby. Doing simple job like working in a grocery store or working in a park like Mordecai and Rigby those jobs don’t require much skill. They always made it seem so hard. I can tell you there was days I felt like benson where I wanted to blow up on them after showing and telling them how to do their job right over and over again. What make no sense to me is the people I worked with that sucked at a job like working in a grocery store could never do their job right but there somehow supervisors or some type of lead else where for a job that require a lot more skills, experience and qualification. I’m glad I’m out of the grocery businesses. I don’t have to deal with all that.
Yeah but Benson always yells at them over the smallest mistakes or when it’s not their fault. I have a boss who’s like that to the point where i’m afraid of asking him for a break or telling him that something’s messed up cause he might blame it on me and I do work hard to get everything done.
Everyone's blaming the rock in the road, but I think it should be worth noting, even in a golf cart, Mordecai and Rigby should've seen the rock so they could've avoided it instead of running it over like idiots. Then again, this IS Mordecai and Rigby we're talking about here.
I'd say the blame would lay on whichever groundskeeper that did not do their job in moving that rock out of the road in the first place to prevent a tripping hazard. Frederick from Fire Emblem Awakening could attest to that.
@@kaffka9221 Mordecai and Rigby are technically groundskeepers themselves, so not moving the rock could've been their responsibility. However, Skips, Muscle Man, and Hi-Five Ghost are also groundskeepers, so you might be right.

In this episode, Muscle Man was supposed to help Mordecai and Rigby deliver the lemon tree to Benson. Not do torturous pranks on them. He should've helped Mordecai and Rigby finish their jobs. And most importantly, how dare he disobey their ex-ponies! Son of a Mitch, not listening to Twilight Sparkle and Fluttershy... Muscle Man should be ashamed of himself. Also, has Benson ever watched Pacific Rim: The Black? There's no need to treat Mordecai and Rigby the unfair way. Mei told Rickter that if he treats the Travis Siblings and Boy the unfair way by yelling at them, 'there will be consequences. Trust me'. P.S., MordeTwi and Flutterby are canon and the entire story of Pacific Rim: The Black is all here on Netflix!
And all they had to do was pick up the tree and deliver it on time. OMFG it is so hard to drive a cart, pick up a lemon tree, move it to the cart, then drive it to the house. So complicated.

This time it wasn’t their fault it was all the rock’s fault
And Benson didn’t even care
Mordecai had the fault, the tree was intact in the crash, but he broke it pulling out
It was their fault for doing the job as late as possible.
Don't go blaming Dwayne Johnson
Actually, it was their fault cause mordecai tried to pull it out instead of either pushing it out or driving the cart a bit more.
