I never knew Fred was married 3 times. Always liked watching him on TV. A real character. As for Alison she is so lovely. Fantastic personality, beautiful, charming, always smiling. I can see why Fred fell for her.
@caffeineisking8132 She did not receive one penny from Fred's will, but their three daughters did. When they divorced, Fred wasn't anything worth what he was later on in his life. So whatever she received from the divorce would have quickly been spent. So, in truth had she remained married, she would have been left in a very comfortable financial position.
@burants, Nah mate, Fred treated her atrociously and later in life was the 1st to say so, she put up with more than you will ever know and Fred’s biggest regret was not putting her 1st. Fred was a great bloke to everyone but his family. All that said the bloke was a legend and I’m proud to have known him.
@PGH Engineer yep I agree ,a good buddy of mine was the life and soul of a party ,and one of the most popular guys at work ,but divorced twice and his 1st wife and my wife were best buddies,she said he is a total dead loss at home,won't do anything and miserable.

Alison went on to marry a lovely fella called David in 1989. They were married for 32 years before he sadly passed away early 2022. Rip dave pal.
