    I love this recipe! We make it with strawberries. Our strawberry season is coming soon. I can’t wait! I never get tired of strawberries. I was born in July and my mom craved Strawberries for the last few months while she was pregnant with me. I think that’s why I love them so much. When I was born I had a strawberry shaped mark on the back of my neck. It slowly faded away. ❤

    Hi Nick here. I did purchase the starter kit. I just got it today and started using it. It cleans. And these cleaning products are what I will be using moving forward. However I will not give up my vinegar. Just a note if you do purchase these products, make sure you are using warm to hot water, the tablets will dissolve faster. I feel the product works.

    This video made me so happy. I was able to have my son and his family including his Mother and Father-in-law for Easter. We had a wonderful day, the only thing missing was my other son and his wife! I haven't made pretzel salad in so long - I need to. I did make "funeral' potatoes though! They are so good with ham! Desserts this year were a Mandarin orange salad and a Cadbury mini egg cheesecake pie that was to die for!

    I love this dessert! Years ago, I had my first Thanksgiving with my now husband’s family. I was so nervous. His mother made this dessert...and accidentally dropped all the wine glass markers into the jello without noticing! We were all pulling the out of our mouths as we ate 😂 I wasn’t nervous after that!

      There are many different types of Salads & many can be served & eaten with the meal or as a dessert. When we always made sweet Salads like Strawberry Pretzel Salad or in this case Raspberry & many other Jello Salads etc always served as part of the meal & had desserts like Cakes, Pies, Puddings, Cookies for Dessert.

    All of your food looked delicious! We usually make the pretzel salad with strawberries and will have to give raspberries a try for a nice change. Also I usually crush the pretzels first and then measure out 2 cups. It looks that that method gives a slightly thicker crust than what you had.

    I purchased your cookbook online a year or two ago.
    The format it came in is not a format I’m able to open to view recipes.
    I have tried to request to chat with you all and I have never received a way to resolve this issue with you all.
    I finally gave up after this long, and one of your videos popped up and thought I would try again to have some way to get this resolved or at least a refund.

    We just had a strawberry version of this (not your recipe) and the crust was so hard. I’ve had others and they are hard too. Is this one hard? We had to use a knife to cut it (it was really hard)! I love your cookbook. I was able to find a hard copy. But I really love seeing how close your family is. They will miss you when you leave on your mission.

    • @charleigh3275
      @charleigh3275 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      @Mandy Fortune; Cool Whip is like whipped cream. It's found in the freezer section of our grocery stores. It's a great substitute for home made whipped cream when you are short on time. It's sweet on its own&I wouldn't have added a cup of sugar to that mixture. You keep Cool Whip in the freezer and put it on your counter about 30 minutes to soften before using. I think it's non-dairy too.

      These are the ingredients: Skim Milk, Hydrogenated Vegetable Oil (Coconut and Palm Kernel Oils), High Fructose Corn Syrup, Water, Corn Syrup, Light Cream, Contains Less than 2% of Sodium Caseinate (from Milk), Natural and Artificial Flavor, Xanthan and Guar Gums, Polysorbate 60, Sorbitan Monostearate, Sodium Polyphosphate, Beta Carotene (Color). It’s actually pretty disgusting stuff. 😄

    • @Casper7762
      @Casper7762 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@grandmaandgrandpagriffiths4715 I thought of it when you said that it is normally not like this and more liquid. Now, here is the downside to this because I did this with Strawberries today (Sorry, I am allergic to Raspberries and Blackberries) but if your not stirring it between blasts and it gets to hot you have to let it cook again. But, it does gel back up it just takes time. Remember to not do it to many times but just blast it on high for 30 seconds, stir really well, blast for 15-30 seconds and stir again. My 2nd time only took 15 seconds. I did have to wait 5 minutes and kept stirring it to get it to cool off. Your other option is to add a box of powdered jello to the gelled mix and then add the boiling hot water to melt it all again and make 2 of these. I actually made 2 today and when it came to the raspberries I had my friend deal with them and then I just never ate them. Everyone said they were amazing though. I just didn’t want to risk the hospital if by chance there was a Raspberry trace of anything.
