the animation style being different for water park prank is because its one of the many episodes of adventure time that were guest animated by an animator with a unique style id reccomend episodes like bad jubies, a glitch is a glitch and food chain which have a lot of various art styles played up and they look visually so fun!
I’m honestly surprised that the glitch episode wasn’t the worst episode. It’s one of the like 2 episodes I ever skip when I decide to watch the show again.
Adventure time does have some bad episodes, but not really worth bringing much attention to and are nowhere near as bad as the worst of spongebob or family guy episodes
The bad episodes of adventure time are the episodes that feel like they aren't respecting my time. Usually a non sensical plot, and nothing truly funny.
At first adventure time was not a lore focused series but that changed when ice king backstories was shown. Because this is a very lore focused series they can make so many seasons and spin-offs without it becoming like SpongeBob Squarepants or the Simpsons, especially because the multiverse is now something we can explore
I expected the episode where Finn ruins his relationship with Flame Princess because he realizes her beating up an old man is something he's into so he manipulates her into repeatedly doing so. Easily the worst one.
From an objective standpoint it’s comparable to Mordecai’s fuckup when he hijacked MM’s wedding to break up with both his love interests, one of which was healthy.
Say what you will, but it was an important episode. After that breakup, Finn matured a lot in relationships in general. it's still a hard watch tho ngl
This is the world of Adventure Time so I don’t think love between an elephant and a pig is that weird but if they’d toned down the excessive romance between TT and Mr. Pig, I don’t think I would’ve minded it all that much. TT has a house and she says it’s indecent for them to live together?? She was twerking and bumping her butt against Mr. Pig’s butt so what’s her definition of “indecent”?? Also, a moment where I hated Mr. Pig was in an episode where PB was having a party of sorts and TT was bringing some “hot buns” in a basket - actual steaming bread buns, and Finn said “get those hot buns in here, girl.” Mr. Pig takes offense to this, runs up with a stupid expression and slaps Finn??!! Finn is 13-14 years old and didn’t even say it in a perverted or in a crude manner. Plus, TT is literally carrying hot buns in a basket. So why slap this young teenager, Mr. Pig??
I was so confused when I saw that moment too, that pig basically jumped to conclusions and assaulted a child for no reason, even Finn was confused and bro just kept freaking slapping him across the face without letting him explain.
Thats just how Tree Trunks's character is, you only have to watch her first episode to learn that she has always been horny af. Plus mr Pig is like really protective, so be it!

I think with the worst episode, the main shock factor is the style. Doesn't fit Adventure Time's "simple, cute" aesthetic at all. Makes Finn, which I believe is like 14 at the time, look like a 40 year old man. So it looks uncanny to a lot of people, kinda hurts to look at, no offense to the artist.
Iirc it was a virus the Ice King made that affect the worlds reality, constantly eating parts of the “program”. He did it because PB said she wouldn’t date him unless he was the last one on Ooo.
Breezy. Hands down. The episode they only aired once. When LSP drowned Finn in her deep end. Bro made out with every princess, then got some lumps. Like Finn said, "That's getting locked in the vault."

Ya know I've seen all 9 seasons of adventure time probably 4 different times and I do not remember ever seeing that second episode and I'm glad I never did.
Regular Show, Adventure Time, and The Amazing World of Gumball are the best trio in Cartoon Network. But honestly I would like to see you do Pixar movies.

Same with videos that are “why gaming isn’t fun anymore” and it’s such a generalization that the only way it makes sense is for clickbait, which, I guess isn’t too surprising. What I’m saying is, I don’t think 1 bad episode out of 283 great ones ruined the show. But sure, I guess this childhood and nostalgic classic and excellent show is just terrible because of a few bad episodes. To say this ruined the whole show is a lying, because most episode don’t have anything to do with each other
I've always hated skipping episodes or scenes in a series because then I'd always feel like I've lost something, but watching this video I realised that I skipped the waterpark episode at some point so yeah, it must have been THAT weird and boring
No way the Tree Trunks and Mr Pig episode was rated that low! The show has episodes like one where Finn gets SA by clowns (this is barely hyperbole, if at all), but a cute consensual couple kissing is ranked lower.
Yeah there are definitely worse episodes in other shows, but as far as Adventure Time goes I can see why these are considered the worse, which also speaks volumes of how great Adventure Time normally is if *these* are the worst it has to offer
Personally I actually really liked dream of love when it first came out sense at the time I was actually going through a break up, not because we wanted to but because his family didn't want us being together. And before then when we were together we were constantly ridiculed for showing any kind of affection toward each other at all, even just sitting next to each other was blasphemous to his dad. So when I watch it for the first time it really hit home for me. Especially the song it had me sobbing. Looking back at it again now that I'm older I totally understand why people don't like it and why it makes people uncomfortable. But I still see the value in showing relationships that people and especially society don't approve of and ultimately the lesson being how they should be left alone and allowed to be in love regardless. I actually think it's more relevant now than ever. Even if the execution in the episode might not have gotten that across super well.
i really liked dream of love for the ending and the duet. the resolution between the two and the song are really what makes the episode what it is. i can see the value in it, but like you said i can definitely see why people dislike it.
I would agree but the premise of that episode isn't showing what your situation was. In your situation, you were forced to breakup for things that were never an issue. In this episode, both characters show clear PDA which is overall uncomfortable and should not be done in public irl. So when the show randomly rewards them at the end for doing something they were showing as bad, it can make viewers feel unhappy with the ending. Especially when it spreads the message "PDA is ok to do in front of ppl" when in reality it makes many uncomfortable. They should have just introduced characters that hate tree trunks and Mr. Pig as a couple for no reason and make up lies about their relationship and then ending with those characters getting disproven or beaten up and tree trunks and Mr. Pig get together happily. That would fit for a better message and relate to you more.
@@UnknownUser-wp9vp well I’m not saying the episode perfectly relates to my situation, just that I related to it at a time in my life when I was forced to be away from my boyfriend for things they considered gross, just like tree trunks and Mr pig being forced apart for pda. And yeah my situation was different we weren’t displaying pda around people we were just sitting next to each other or being mildly affectionate in a way you’d expect couples to be like holding hands. But also, the episode itself in the end shows that pda isn’t the only problem. Yeah people can be uncomfortable by it and that’s fine, but going to extreme lengths like confronting them and making them leave or be apart isn’t a good option either. And I think that’s what the episode was trying to get across personally that the problem wasn’t just with them and the PDA, but also the public’s blatant disgust at any affection at all. I personally read it like they’re both in a wrong. Yeah you should take other people’s comfort into consternation, but also you shouldn’t spit at people who are just being happy together either. And that’s why I think the episode ends the way it does because Finn and Jake realize the hatred isn’t right, but you also can’t stop them or keep them apart either.

Like everyone has different levels of what they think is acceptable or not in public. Some people think just holding hands around others is disgusting and unforgivable, while other people will see a couple making out on a pen bench and think they must be on a nice date good for them. It’s all person to person. And that’s not even considering when you bring queer couples into the mix, that is a whole other massive can of worms.

honestly i enjoyed it. I liked when adventure time featured other animators, and it was definitely a nice break from the absolute trauma we had to witness in the first five episodes
@@adrianejabelosa5638it's a completely different show. Its charm came from its total lack of continuity. Then they threw that away and it had nothing going for it. Shows like Steven Universe and Regular Show managed to pull off getting more serious because there was always a consistency to begin with, but the inconsistency was what made Adventure Time.
I think that the worst ones are when Finn manipulate the feeling of the miniatura of his friends and then the one where he try to make out with all the princesses of the realm with not even a sign of regret or passon (no emotion at all), leving them the second he's done with his "experience". I know it should rappresent the curiosity and will to explore more about the sentiment of love and relationship but that episode made it horryble and unconfortable. The sad part id that after that Finn had no consequence nor in that eppisode nor in the next it's like nothing had ever happened. I don't think that he understand that he might had hurt someone feeling or something similar. Ok he got consequence since LSP SA him but i ment consequence by the other princesses. i dont remenber if he fixed the relationship between the miniature of his friends and idk if he ever apologised but this episode made me extremely unconfortable. (sorry for bad eng)
S4,E3: “Web Weirdos” I have a personal vendetta against this episode. Nothing happens, and it was played a minimum of 5 times a day every day when I grew up.
I have to hard disagree, its premise was communication and how the lack of it can lead to toxic relationships. Also that keeping a toxic love can be so draining that eventually you’ll “pass out”.
We watched adventure time after many years of not watching and when the episodes with the kisses played all we thought was we never remembered the show was like this 😭 (we as in my whole family)
The Water Park Prank episode was hilarious. People just hate on it over the art style. Daddy Sad Heads are not "random", its about going to a waterpark, nobody remember having to worry about getting verucas when they went to the swimmers or being warned about them? Seems pretty obvious to me thats what they're supposed to be.
The fact I could already guess which episode when I clicked on this video lol. Also I just love how you managed to make the waterpark episode funnier than the episode itself with just your commentary 😆
that one episode where there was that dear with human hands that licked people and stuck people in some kind of dungeon with its saliva kind of creeped me out as a kid so I always turned the TV off when adventure time came on lol
I like dream of love, it’s pretty funny and worthwhile at least just for the song. It’s not great, but not bad imo. Water park prank is SOOOO bad though. It’s not the art style either, I think the art style is pretty cool. It’s the fact that all these random plot elements are introduced for no reason and never resolve. It could have just been a fun beach episode with fun character interactions and nothing more, but most of the supporting cast isn’t even there, and we spend half of the episode with 2 new characters we’ll never see again. It could have gone more into the prank plotline, and somehow introduced the magic coin and the daddy sad heads into that story, but the writer of this episode is treating their plot threads like a toddler with a plate of food, he won’t let them touch! Basically, if there is anything good about the episode, they didn’t lean into it hard enough to make it work in any meaningful way, and it just winds up being really boring and confusing
I gotta be hones, out of every single adventure time episode the one that I hate the most is ''slow love'' it's that one where a giant snail ask Finn and Jake help to find a live partner, it's just a horrible episode
Based, Snorlock is so down bad that he offers to mate with Jake when he morphed into another snail. Then Snorlock let all the girl snails he attracted twerk on himself while the treehouse was getting destroyed in the process.
Oh wow, how sad. All of that while you still can just chill in your free time while your parents do everything for you, instead of you having almost no free time, specially when you work AND study. No disrespect buddy, we all got our own problems obviously. But it only gets worse and worse and worse, trust me.

I loved every episode, every time I rewatch it, I seem to notice something new and it’s so fun. That being said, are a few episodes that are that I hate watching: 1. *Slow love* (that slug was annoying) 2. *Princess monster wife* ( just so uncomfortable to watch)
im pretty sure that this ep was originally going to have to creator do bad inpresions of everyone which i think would be pretty funyy, i also dont think its the fact that the art style change but more so the art its selfs cause the ep bad jubies is really good and has amazing stop motion

As an adventure time fan that I watched it ever since it came out and has re-watched it 12 times. I can confirm that every episode is amazing and its own way.
I was 12 when I started watching and Finn was 12. We grew up together. So when I watched the fucking episode where Breezy the Bumble Bee throws up on Finn’s FINALLY GONE ARM and he just grows it into a little flower and I was so upset I emailed Pendleton Ward.
I didnt dislike the first Episode so much cuz I used to know people exactly like that. This one couple that cannot keep it down. Theyd sit on each other laps during class, theyd just randomly make out while around other people and sometimes, when you were extremely unlucky, youd go to the rest room and the two of them would quickly rush out of a cubicle once you open the door... So the Episode was kinda relatable to me at leats lol
I was expecting better to be the episode. Where flame princess is fighting the ice king? And basically it turns Finn into an unlikable person in a break up. Which made a lot of fans upset because it was showing he was growing as a character And they were a really good couple
There are several episodes of Adventure Time done in different animation styles by guest animators. They are generally "not canon". Though considering the multiverse in Adventure Time, "not canon" really just means "doesn't take place in the main universe". And the Fionna and Cake spinoff actually does show the Water Park Universe during a quick montage of a bunch of alternate universes confirming Water Park Prank to not be part of the main continuity. Also while most guest animated episodes aren't "canon"; there is one notable exception with Food Chain. The whole plot is driven by Magic Man shenanigans so it's weird plot can easily be excused + a later canon episode (The Cooler) references the events of Food Chain.
Not understanding the intrinsic value of a comedy based recap video despite the over-inclusion of jokes and edits has gotta be the biggest self report ngl

A personal analysis of WHY those episodes might be the worst rated can offer a unique perspective that would make your video stand out amongst other creators.

Some important context for this worst rated episode is that it was part of several episodes animated in a different style with filler type plots that focused on some sort of half cooked message. I can’t say for sure but I believe they were specially made so that animators could showcase their skills and animation style, something which happens somewhat frequently on Cartoon Network shows. Overall though I’m glad this is the worst rated episode
Honestly that episode didn't ruin the show cause it's kinda a filler episode and the show's main episodes have one of the best stories ever to be told and the ending is great.
There are no bad episodes. The only reason the tree trunks one is so hated is because it follows the story of 2 minor and often disliked characters but the episode itself isnt bad. The water park one isnt bad either as it actually maintains the zany structure that adventure time is known for, the only reason why its bad is because the animation is off putting and the actual story feels too much like a filler episode rather than adventure times signature move to move the overall plot forward just a bit whether it is the character development or the over arching story. The episode isnt bad its just meaningless filler. Although compared to other adventure time episodes it is pretty bad
I personally loved the switch up in art. I love when they do that. And I just thought it was a fun episode. I give it a 7.5 outta ten. I think adventure time as a whole is one of the best shows ever

I've always hated skipping episodes or scenes in a series because then I'd always feel like I've lost something, but watching this video I realised that I skipped the waterpark episode at some point so yeah, it must have been THAT weird and boring
No way the Tree Trunks and Mr Pig episode was rated that low! The show has episodes like one where Finn gets SA by clowns (this is barely hyperbole, if at all), but a cute consensual couple kissing is ranked lower.

Yeah there are definitely worse episodes in other shows, but as far as Adventure Time goes I can see why these are considered the worse, which also speaks volumes of how great Adventure Time normally is if *these* are the worst it has to offer

Personally I actually really liked dream of love when it first came out sense at the time I was actually going through a break up, not because we wanted to but because his family didn't want us being together. And before then when we were together we were constantly ridiculed for showing any kind of affection toward each other at all, even just sitting next to each other was blasphemous to his dad. So when I watch it for the first time it really hit home for me. Especially the song it had me sobbing.
Looking back at it again now that I'm older I totally understand why people don't like it and why it makes people uncomfortable. But I still see the value in showing relationships that people and especially society don't approve of and ultimately the lesson being how they should be left alone and allowed to be in love regardless. I actually think it's more relevant now than ever. Even if the execution in the episode might not have gotten that across super well.
i really liked dream of love for the ending and the duet. the resolution between the two and the song are really what makes the episode what it is. i can see the value in it, but like you said i can definitely see why people dislike it.

I would agree but the premise of that episode isn't showing what your situation was. In your situation, you were forced to breakup for things that were never an issue. In this episode, both characters show clear PDA which is overall uncomfortable and should not be done in public irl. So when the show randomly rewards them at the end for doing something they were showing as bad, it can make viewers feel unhappy with the ending. Especially when it spreads the message "PDA is ok to do in front of ppl" when in reality it makes many uncomfortable. They should have just introduced characters that hate tree trunks and Mr. Pig as a couple for no reason and make up lies about their relationship and then ending with those characters getting disproven or beaten up and tree trunks and Mr. Pig get together happily. That would fit for a better message and relate to you more.
@@UnknownUser-wp9vp well I’m not saying the episode perfectly relates to my situation, just that I related to it at a time in my life when I was forced to be away from my boyfriend for things they considered gross, just like tree trunks and Mr pig being forced apart for pda. And yeah my situation was different we weren’t displaying pda around people we were just sitting next to each other or being mildly affectionate in a way you’d expect couples to be like holding hands.
But also, the episode itself in the end shows that pda isn’t the only problem. Yeah people can be uncomfortable by it and that’s fine, but going to extreme lengths like confronting them and making them leave or be apart isn’t a good option either. And I think that’s what the episode was trying to get across personally that the problem wasn’t just with them and the PDA, but also the public’s blatant disgust at any affection at all. I personally read it like they’re both in a wrong. Yeah you should take other people’s comfort into consternation, but also you shouldn’t spit at people who are just being happy together either. And that’s why I think the episode ends the way it does because Finn and Jake realize the hatred isn’t right, but you also can’t stop them or keep them apart either.
@@UnknownUser-wp9vp but I also think pda is a way too complex topic to really talk about in a way everyone will grasp in such little run time. Like everyone has different levels of what they think is acceptable or not in public. Some people think just holding hands around others is disgusting and unforgivable, while other people will see a couple making out on a pen bench and think they must be on a nice date good for them. It’s all person to person.
And that’s not even considering when you bring queer couples into the mix, that is a whole other massive can of worms.

@@adrianejabelosa5638it's a completely different show. Its charm came from its total lack of continuity. Then they threw that away and it had nothing going for it. Shows like Steven Universe and Regular Show managed to pull off getting more serious because there was always a consistency to begin with, but the inconsistency was what made Adventure Time.
I think that the worst ones are when Finn manipulate the feeling of the miniatura of his friends and then the one where he try to make out with all the princesses of the realm with not even a sign of regret or passon (no emotion at all), leving them the second he's done with his "experience".
I know it should rappresent the curiosity and will to explore more about the sentiment of love and relationship but that episode made it horryble and unconfortable.
The sad part id that after that Finn had no consequence nor in that eppisode nor in the next it's like nothing had ever happened. I don't think that he understand that he might had hurt someone feeling or something similar.
Ok he got consequence since LSP SA him but i ment consequence by the other princesses.
i dont remenber if he fixed the relationship between the miniature of his friends and idk if he ever apologised but this episode made me extremely unconfortable.

I have a personal vendetta against this episode. Nothing happens, and it was played a minimum of 5 times a day every day when I grew up.
I have to hard disagree, its premise was communication and how the lack of it can lead to toxic relationships. Also that keeping a toxic love can be so draining that eventually you’ll “pass out”.

The Water Park Prank episode was hilarious. People just hate on it over the art style. Daddy Sad Heads are not "random", its about going to a waterpark, nobody remember having to worry about getting verucas when they went to the swimmers or being warned about them? Seems pretty obvious to me thats what they're supposed to be.

that one episode where there was that dear with human hands that licked people and stuck people in some kind of dungeon with its saliva kind of creeped me out as a kid so I always turned the TV off when adventure time came on lol
I like dream of love, it’s pretty funny and worthwhile at least just for the song. It’s not great, but not bad imo. Water park prank is SOOOO bad though. It’s not the art style either, I think the art style is pretty cool. It’s the fact that all these random plot elements are introduced for no reason and never resolve. It could have just been a fun beach episode with fun character interactions and nothing more, but most of the supporting cast isn’t even there, and we spend half of the episode with 2 new characters we’ll never see again. It could have gone more into the prank plotline, and somehow introduced the magic coin and the daddy sad heads into that story, but the writer of this episode is treating their plot threads like a toddler with a plate of food, he won’t let them touch! Basically, if there is anything good about the episode, they didn’t lean into it hard enough to make it work in any meaningful way, and it just winds up being really boring and confusing
I gotta be hones, out of every single adventure time episode the one that I hate the most is ''slow love'' it's that one where a giant snail ask Finn and Jake help to find a live partner, it's just a horrible episode
Based, Snorlock is so down bad that he offers to mate with Jake when he morphed into another snail. Then Snorlock let all the girl snails he attracted twerk on himself while the treehouse was getting destroyed in the process.
Yeah, that one was definitely not one of my favorites from the early run of the show.

I loved every episode, every time I rewatch it, I seem to notice something new and it’s so fun.
That being said, are a few episodes that are that I hate watching:
1. *Slow love* (that slug was annoying)
2. *Princess monster wife* ( just so uncomfortable to watch)
Thought it'd be the one with Trunks exploding after eating the red/green apple or the deer hand episode that attempted to eat the candy people.

As an adventure time fan that I watched it ever since it came out and has re-watched it 12 times. I can confirm that every episode is amazing and its own way.

I was 12 when I started watching and Finn was 12. We grew up together. So when I watched the fucking episode where Breezy the Bumble Bee throws up on Finn’s FINALLY GONE ARM and he just grows it into a little flower and I was so upset I emailed Pendleton Ward.
I didnt dislike the first Episode so much cuz I used to know people exactly like that. This one couple that cannot keep it down. Theyd sit on each other laps during class, theyd just randomly make out while around other people and sometimes, when you were extremely unlucky, youd go to the rest room and the two of them would quickly rush out of a cubicle once you open the door...
So the Episode was kinda relatable to me at leats lol
I was expecting better to be the episode. Where flame princess is fighting the ice king? And basically it turns Finn into an unlikable person in a break up. Which made a lot of fans upset because it was showing he was growing as a character And they were a really good couple
There are several episodes of Adventure Time done in different animation styles by guest animators. They are generally "not canon". Though considering the multiverse in Adventure Time, "not canon" really just means "doesn't take place in the main universe". And the Fionna and Cake spinoff actually does show the Water Park Universe during a quick montage of a bunch of alternate universes confirming Water Park Prank to not be part of the main continuity.
Also while most guest animated episodes aren't "canon"; there is one notable exception with Food Chain. The whole plot is driven by Magic Man shenanigans so it's weird plot can easily be excused + a later canon episode (The Cooler) references the events of Food Chain.

Some important context for this worst rated episode is that it was part of several episodes animated in a different style with filler type plots that focused on some sort of half cooked message. I can’t say for sure but I believe they were specially made so that animators could showcase their skills and animation style, something which happens somewhat frequently on Cartoon Network shows. Overall though I’m glad this is the worst rated episode

There are no bad episodes. The only reason the tree trunks one is so hated is because it follows the story of 2 minor and often disliked characters but the episode itself isnt bad. The water park one isnt bad either as it actually maintains the zany structure that adventure time is known for, the only reason why its bad is because the animation is off putting and the actual story feels too much like a filler episode rather than adventure times signature move to move the overall plot forward just a bit whether it is the character development or the over arching story. The episode isnt bad its just meaningless filler. Although compared to other adventure time episodes it is pretty bad
