omg yay you’ve finally released a video on this topic! this is perfect for the holidays to make sure i understood everything from class. thank you so much again for the videos, you’re a legend!!
That's brilliant to hear! Glad it's useful! More on the way 😁
ahh that’s great to hear! i always look forward to any new posts of yours as they’re so helpful
@@angel-lh8sh 😀
Thank you, I was struggling to understand this in class but this is so well explained!
That's great to hear. 😃
Well done for sticking at it!
brilliant vid sir this is my last topic n ive done all content ready for june
Well done! That gives you loads of time to prepare with exam questions 👌
Sir when you will be uploading part 2 this? Thank you all the videos you make!!
Here you go! Sorry for the delay

hi sir, if you had to construct a born-haber cycle in an exam, how would you know if the enthalpy of solution was positive or negative (if the enthalpy of solution was negative I'm guessing the arrow would point downwards below the products). Because the born hater cycle would surely look different depending on whether the enthalpy of solution was positive or negative. Thank you for video as well
Good question. I dont think you'd be asked to draw a BH cycle if you didn't know enthalpy of solution. They could tell you that as part of the info you know, and ask you for a hydration or lattice enthalpy value... or you could just be expected to do a Hess cycle instead
Please can you do yr 13 content before exams, honestly your saving generations of people who does and will do chemistry!
You're very kind to say that! More y13 content coming out over the next few weeks 😀
Hi i love your question walk throughs, could you please do more 🙏
Will do! I really appreciate your feedback 😀
apologies sir for another question, but how come the smaller charge makes something more polarisable? (43:53)
The lower charge density on the negative ion means that the electric field generated by the ion is weaker, making it easier for the electron cloud of the negative ion to become polarized. This is because it requires a weaker electric field to generate the same dipole moment.
I wouldn't worry too much about any fine details beyond that 😊
@@chemistrytutor Thanks a bunch for your help :)
Will you be doing a head start to year 13 similar to your head start to year 12 series?
That's a good idea 💡
Although have I left it too late now?
@@chemistrytutor I'm having to retake chemistry as I picked the wrong subject last year so it wouldn't be too late for a head start to year 13 series
Hi could you please paste the link for parts 2 here?
Good question. It's still in the editing stage. I'll let you know when it's finished ✅️

@@chemistrytutor thank you very much, no worries I know how difficult making these videos quickly can be
I actually love you so much sir🥹🥹
Thanks. Glad it was useful for you
Sir can you also do aromatic chemistry a level chemistry explained video please
That's on my list for explanation videos. Acids and Bases, then Aromatic
Is this for year 1?
Year 2 for most courses. It builds on year 1 content, e.g. Energetics for AQA
Can you please post a part 2 sir

Hi sir, please could you make a video of organic synthesis and also a summary of all the mechanisms that are needed on a level chemistry ?
Both great suggestions, thanks! Here is part 1 of a level Chemistry mechanisms 😀
