    What you do with dingo after killed? Is good for dog meat market, not go to waste? Or trap to sell live for dog meat export market? Save many dog farm dog from cruel life if replace with dingo. Very similar to original dog meat breed keep for eating. Aboriginal eat dingo. Can be good business if get approval.

    Say it as it is, killing native Dingoes not wild dogs. Every other country has learnt to coexist with its native predators. That's right, this is colonial mentality Australia.

    Thought you were into detecting with that pic. Like the ones I make. Instead of using a spike in the ground, would it not be good to use a tree? At the 10 min mark, is that old gold workings? The dog with the curled tail looked to have Besengi in it! Hey, condolences on the parsing of Mauve. Cheers.

      Not so much, There are a couple of other fellas I know that do North Queensland. I have always tried to stay in my own little patch even though there isn't as much work here as I would like anymore. Where abouts are you located?

    What are your clients goals when removing dogs? Do they consider that many of these dogs are dingos with important ecological roles and that they don't pose a threat to cattle?

    • @danielvermeer3363
      @danielvermeer3363 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Dingos are not native to Australia, but they should be introduced to Tasmania as a replacement for the thylacene

    • @ItsaDoggersLife
      @ItsaDoggersLife  ปีที่แล้ว +2

      That's a great question Tom, Unfortunately they do pose a threat to Cattle if they are Dingo or Hybrid anyone who tells you differently isn'tlivingin the real world. I don't have the time, Resources or know how but I would love to see the development of on on the spot DNA test as that is the only way to truly tell the difference. Then we could look at preserving the Dingo. But the damage is happening every day and we can't leave things just ticking over waiting for something like that to be developed. Thanks for watching and taking the time to comment 👍

    • @csrlivestock7080
      @csrlivestock7080 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Tom have you ever come across cows having calves and Dingoes eating them as they come out, or seen a young cow in a dam to get away from Dingoes only to get stuck allowing the Dingoes to get to her hip bone where they have chewed it off and started to pull her insides out while she was still alive. Until you have, please get a better idea about the damage they do. I could be very discourteous to people who think they know but have never had a practical experience with them.

      @@danielvermeer3363 Depends what you call native, they’ve been here upwards of 5000 years. They have very different behaviours to the solitary Thylacine, but may be part of the reason the Thylacine went extinct on the mainland.

      @@ItsaDoggersLife Thanks for the reply. I’ve heard of many cattle farmers being successful with healthy dingo populations. Probably depends on what other resources are available though. Recent research is finding strong dingo genetics in many populations which were thought to be heavily hybridised. Dingos seem to breed out the feral dog genetics themselves. I’m super keen on more research.
