I'd watch it if at the end of the movie they didn't look both ways before trying to cross the street and they get run over by a garbage truck. Then they make a joke about it being trash day. "Time to take out the trash" kind of joke, only funny.
I used to watch Law and Order all the time but really I quit watching it when I'd had enough of the holy righteousness of the prosecutor--I don't remember which episode it was but it pushed me over the line. Jerry Orbach was great in his role though.
law and order is just copaganda anyway. All those police shows exist to make LEOs seem glorious heros doing anything to put away serious criminals when in reality they are usually covering up some sort of atrocity they committed against an innocent person.
