Bonjour je viens faire l'acquisition, d'un moteur Chrysler 3.6 , votre tuto pour nettoyage du carburateur va bien me servir et je voulais savoir si on met de l'essence pure ou si il fallait la diluer

Does the idle jet screw @ 7:45 regulate air or fuel?

I went through my carburetor on my 1980 Sea King. It has no problem starting and firing, but it just won’t idle. I had to hold the throttle to keep it from dying. I cleaned the passage ways twice but am stumped.

You probably have to adjust the linkage on the side of the carburetor so it holds the throttle slightly open when idling.

@@ExtremeDIYGuy I was able to keep the motor running by revving with the throttle, but it will not spin low enough to idle it just dies. The mixture screw didn’t do anything to help. So somethings up with the fuel mixture. It’s the same exact carb in the video.

@@ExtremeDIYGuy th-cam.com/users/shortsFyVWZF49x8Q?feature=share I checked the fuel pumps and the reeds were closed which I think is good? I’ve attached here a video of me starting my motor. Thank you!

@@Samuel-zl7yw adjust the idle screw on the lever on the side of the carburetor. I thinbk if you do that it should run. Sounds like its running pretty decent otherwise.

Did you have to remove the flywheel and recoil to get carb off ?

No, should be able to get them off pretty easy without removing them.
