- Trout can sometimes be very hard to catch, so you need to know how to fish different trout lures in different scenarios. Those aren’t just big rainbows they transfer wild steelhead from the lower river portion up to those lakes/reservoirs so they can spawn up there. They are 100% steelhead. Notice how all the big ones were long, chrome and wild 😊

Now that was cool 😎! Those big Rainbows were pushing small Steelhead size!! And the Bull Trout was special!! FYi, fresh trout cleaned head and all, rolled in Bisquick,and cooked with Bacon 🥓, Best camp meal ever 🙂😜!! Add eggs for breakfast!!

You want to see bull trout sea runs .Pitt river which empties into fraser just about 10 miles from downtown Vancouver best fishing is way up the end of Pitt lake but it's an incredible area and super fun fishery big bulls
Upper Pitt is probably my favorite system in the lower mainland to fish. Remote, gorgeous views and EPIC fishing. Pretty intense getting up there but absolutely worth the jet ride 🤘

I finally started catching some fish trolling. I'm only in a kayak so my options are limited, but it's something I've tried several times before and never had any luck. Now I live in a place with trout (never fished them before the move), decided to try it again, and it's been working great. The Spin-A-Lure by Jake's Lures has been money for me, I've caught _so_ many fish over the past couple weeks on those. Weird looking lure (I call it the nail clipper lure) but it works.
I didn't know you all were so close, just started watching. Trying to pick up where I left off 15 years ago is tough, but ya'll are bring it back for me. !!!! Keep it up!

Be cautious with bacon for your dogs. Dogs do not process sodium the way we do. They can definitely have some but not as much as we can.

I use 4pound max for trout, and 8pound for steelhead and cohos.

Do you not remove the bones for the dogs? Is that bad for them?
It's most likely fine, but I'd debone them just because that can't be a pleasant sensation for a pup.
