Thanks, guys! 😊 I got mine too! I absolutely love it! I love how smooth and almost fuzzy or velvety (in a good way) the Prussian blue cover feels to touch. The Bible's two sides seem to flow out so smoothly like a waterfall when I hold it in my hands too. And the layout and design inside is so beautiful (e.g. I love the font, I love the space between words, I love the space between lines, I love how much clean clear white space there is in the margins and elsewhere, I Iove how it is almost like a reader's Bible with unobtrusive headings and minimal references to distract). Honestly the Heritage is my favorite design or layout for the ESV! My only regret is I wonder what other versions of the Heritage are like and if they are as good as or better than the Prussian blue one I have (e.g. the Wellington leather). But I guess that's a good problem to have. 😅
@@philtheo LOL! You seem to be in love 😄 that's awesome 🙏🏽 I pray this will result in many hours at the feet of Jesus, listening to His voice in the Word ✝ Blessings!!
The first thing I would do is smell it! Wow, the print looks like it's really dark and clear, even just looking at it on a screen. I hope you enjoy this beautiful treasure for many years!
Daniel, I am glad that you put a PSQ against this lovely Schuyler, single column bible so we can tell how well it will fit in the hands. That marbled olive green calfskin is very beautiful. Thank you so much for reviewing it for us. No one has quite shown its size the way you have done. God’s blessings to you, my brother in Christ.
Hello Daniel this is my first time commenting I really enjoy your videos the b-roll is incredible and really gives you a feel for what you're getting into. I am eagerly anticipating buying my first Skyler Bible at some point this year, one issue I have is dry skin in my hands and some Bibles being slippery for me to hold, like the black goat skin from Thomas Nelson or the black goat skin from crossway which I have this heritage in, quite a bit slippery in my hand. I know the goat skin would probably be the best bet for that, but in your opinion would This German cavskin in the desert camel and the olive green be a good candidate as far as in the hand having some grip to it?
Thank you very much I should have mentioned I am leaning towards getting a full yap and the look of that olive green is just amazing so it's really making me consider that option.
Hi there and thank you so much for your kind comment. I too have pretty dry hands and both the goatskin and calfskin Bibles by Schuyler work better for me than other options. I think you will experience the same. This being said, all premium covers are different. Some are more grainy than others. It's a bit hit and miss... I hope you get a Bible that you love and lasts a long time! Again, both options are good :)
Hi there 🤗 Not there yet 😄 I don't know if I'll ever be... I love the NKJV, it's still my main translation in English. But I do use several other translations and the ESV is one of them. Like I say in the video I don't know if I have a favorite translation at this point... I have a few that I really love: NKJV, ESV, NASB (love both 1995 and 2000), CSB, NIV, CEB, maybe one or two more... Thanks for watching and for the comment brother 🤗
@@crucified4me I feel the same. I like the NKJV, NASB95 the best. I vacillate between those two the most. I have an Academy Study Bible which is KJV, the latest edition. The study helps are great. It’s huge though. I bought it for the study tools incorporated into it.
@@TommyLane I don't have that one... But I keep receiving emails about it 😂 I haven't gotten to the point of buying it, maybe I will one day. Blessings 🤗
I think they ran out of this specific color, but there's two other options available here 👉 evangelicalbible.com/crossway-esv-heirloom-heritage/ I hope this helps!
@@crucified4me Yea, I still like it. Just not what I was expecting. If I put it in direct light then you can see some green but not much. I have a KJV in Desert Camel so was expecting it to be the same but green. It’s ok though, I do really like the textblock and think it may be my new favorite.
I ordered the ESV Heirloom Heritage in Prussian Blue from Evangelical Bible! I can't wait to get it! It should be pretty soon. :)
Awesome! That color looks gorgeous on the pictures, I hope you love it 🙏🏽
so did i. it’s absolutely amazing. The leather feels remarkable to the touch and the workmanship and quality is top notch.

I enjoy your reviews. Always beautifully done and informative. Nice Bible, but I agree with you regarding the yapp.

Beautiful premium Bible ❤
It really is. Thank you for watching and commenting!
P.S.
I should have mentioned my first Skyler purchase will be a regular size Quintel 👍
I'm pretty sure you will love it 😉
These are apparently printed by a Dutch company but I haven’t found them for sale here in the Netherlands. They’re also pretty pricey😮
Yes, they are expensive Bibles! I believe only evangelicalbible sells this particular edition... Sorry! Blessings to you ✝
@@crucified4me Thanks, that’s good to know, I’ll stop looking then🤣
@@elmanitasdeplomoLOL
it is printed at Royal Jongbloed most likely, they print bibles exclusively and ship all over the world for different publishers.

I had this on my list but then went with two on-sale premiers for a much better deal. Marriage has hindered my excessive bible spending😂

Is it possible to get it with thumb index?
I don't think there's a thumb index option for this Bible. I'm so sorry.
