      Yea. Subjective "lived experience" sure can be a misdiagnosis... That's why different eye-witnesses to a crime usually tell different stories about what they saw, their subjective views are just little pieces and clues of what actually objectively happened. Post-modernist/relativist freaks don't believe in objective truth, they think everything is just subjective views battling for power. But also at the same time all subjective views are equally valid. It's a mess.

Having learned that they are able to make a living out of their troubles, they have grown into the settled habit of advertising their wrongs - partly because they want sympathy and partly because it pays. Some of these people do not want the Negro to lose his grievances, because they do not want to lose their jobs.” ― Booker T. Washington

    I've been following Lyndsay for a few years. He is a hero. I've also been following this unfolding insanity for a little more than a decade. I find it interesting that Glenn Beck, Limbaugh, Michael Savage, etc. have literally been trying to draw attention to this for DECADES. But, because of their general conservatism, right leaning social commentary combined with the thorough and unending slander towards the right from the mainstream for my entire life they were completely dismissed. Just because some people are wrong about some things doesn't mean they're necessarily wrong about everything.
    In fact, I've come to see that the right in general always have had a great innate ability to detect this madness earlier than nearly anyone else.

  • @mmille10
    @mmille10 3 ปีที่แล้ว +5

    James Lindsay talked about this here, but I'd like to elaborate.
    I've gotten tired of the Right pointing out the hypocrisy, the double-standard. I used to engage in that. It's not wrong to point it out, with those who are receptive to hearing it, but there's no point in using it against the Left, because they don't care. After looking at this long enough, what I've realized is that what conservatives are calling hypocrisy and double-standard is actually the effect of *the campaign* of the Left. It's not a double-standard. It's the whole point: We will allow ourselves to do X. We will not allow you to do the same. Why? Because it's all about our power. That's why. It's no more complicated than that. We will do everything we can to advantage our cause, and do everything to disadvantage yours. That's it, period. End of sentence. Call it what it is: the campaign of the Left exercised through positions of power. As they say, "The debate is over." You can add to that, "We will take whatever we want, destroy whatever we want. There's nothing you can do about it, because we take away any support you might use to resist us. And don't try any vigilantism, because then we'll come down on you like a ton of bricks." It sounds a lot like what things were like under a monarch, come to think of it. The king or queen takes whatever s/he wants, though they had to use a little deference when dealing with their gentry, because it's possible they could topple them, but there was nothing that the peasantry could do about any of it. The monarch was the law. Whatever s/he said went. If that went against you, well, it sucked to be you. You couldn't expect justice.
    We don't have a single monarch, but we have lots of "little kings," distributed throughout our system, each knowing their place in their hierarchy, but all serving the same cause, being part of the same club.
    We should stop using "hypocrisy," and "double-standard" to describe this so much. That's missing the point. It's not about them being absent-minded, nor moral relativists. This is deliberate, and we should identify it, recognizing it for what it is. The Left will try to camouflage it, making excuses for their actions, trying to make it seem reasonable, or seem legal, because they count on the rest of us either not recognizing that this is a strategy that only benefits those in their club, or recognizing it, and thinking it's in our interests to curry favor with them. We should never expect them to acknowledge what they're up to, but we should point it out, nevertheless.

      @mmille10 3 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      @@jato72 - It's possible they tried. That's a large part of what the election of Trump was about in 2016. I think it's what the 2020 election was about, as well, but that sentiment wasn't allowed to be expressed this time. The way I look at it, the last election was the machinations of content ranking in social media brought into the real world. That sense has actually made me feel less threatened by what's been going on with the Biden Admin., because I feel like the majority didn't vote for this, and doesn't support it. What I'm more worried about is whether we're going to have fair elections in the future.

    Repressive Tolerance as Lindsay described it is exactly what I see happening to the "patriot community". Good to know there is actually something to read about it. Recently I found that Nikita Khrushchev proposed UN Resolution A/RES/15/1514 - Declaration on Granting of Independence to Colonial Countries and Peoples. Initially about 11 countries were named and they were true colonies but then in 1990, the UN began the decade Declarations for the Eradication of Colonialism. 2001-2010 Second Decade for Eradication. 2011-2020 Third Decade. Guess what countries could be considered to have been colonized? Do you feel that target on your back?
    Beginning in 1990 - Bush's speech to the UN, the dismantlement of our country began and slowly, incrementally, the conversion to a condominium governing structure over the top of newly defined regions built over the top of states has been put in place. They've been cannabilizing our country and it seems that nobody noticed until the last decade or so.

      The hard right types were simply the canaries in the coal mine. They saw the danger posed by the increasingly radical and tyrannical left early on when nobody else did, so they came off hyperbolic and unhinged. Now the situation has gotten crazy enough that practically everyone else but the radical left can see it.

    I was thinking of this today and it made me sad: like, from now on, we’ll never see a film with a black villain and a white hero. Or a film where someone is attacked by a black man (think The Joker subway scene). It seems kind of dumb and inconsequential in the grand scheme of things, but that’s just an example of the (other) virus we’re dealing with in the western world. It just suxxs, IDK

    The basic problem with Year Zero as a concept is past bad future good. As such, if anything goes wrong the reset will be followed by a rereset. It’s the practice of rewriting history on a daily basis that we encounter in 1984 by George Orwell.

    • @TheClassicWorld
      @TheClassicWorld 3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Mao wrote in On Practice (1934) that the great thing about Marxism/Communism is the proof and theory is in the endless practice of revolution (meaning, revolution leads to revolution which proves the revolution which leads to revolution). That's kind of the re-reset of reset. One of the most insane, corrupt men of all time is Mao. The re-reset of reset is built directly into the philosophy itself, so it's not even a problem for them, it's a benefit and a feature. That's the real problem. That's why it cannot be stopped and will always fail -- and always be tested. That's why Communism has been strong since the 1850s.

      Zoltan Rudolf yes his historical overview of these parasitic mind mania are very helpful. It’s also worth noting the way people were groomed and seduced by many ‘New Thought’ human potential movements like The Fourth Way, Theosophy, Anthroposophy, Buddhism Lite, Gnosticism, the Umbrella and broad reach of New Age systems and Self Help. Whether the leaders/founders of the various movements were inspirational gurus, philanthropists or simply politically motivated undercover Crown Agents - they all played their part in fostering mind sets which disarm discernment and encourage buy in to all sorts of wolves in sheep’s clothing, trojan horses and emperor’s new clothes. All conjured and very beguiling. On those foundation laid down through the late 19th through 20th century, many houses of cards were built.

    People are uncomfortable saying this but the problem is multiculturalism itself, if you a have society where different racial\ethnic groups exist together, because of racial differences (IQ, temperament, physicals appearance) some groups will rise to the top and some will sink to the bottom which will always lead to anger and calls for change. These problems do not exist in monocultural societies. You cant fix this, this is an problem that is inherent to multiculturalism.

    Jesus died for our sins according to the scriptures, was buried, and rose again the third day according to the scriptures.
    Rom 12:19 Dearly beloved, avenge not yourselves, but rather give place unto wrath: for it is written, Vengeance is mine; I will repay, saith the Lord.
    Rom 12:20 Therefore if thine enemy hunger, feed him; if he thirst, give him drink: for in so doing thou shalt heap coals of fire on his head.
    Rom 12:21 Be not overcome of evil, but overcome evil with good.

    Make everything fair and equitable by taking from some to give to others until we’re all equally miserable and there’s no upward mobility or individual self interest. Individualism and objectivity are white supremacy traits. Capitalism is linked to white supremacy culture. Meritocracy is a lie. It’s in their writings. I agree sometimes people get ahead through certain advantages but that’s life. Trying to police that and make everything equal will lead to even more egregious unfairness and loss of freedom. I mean being beautiful is an unearned advantage and on their most reductive level these advocates are opposed to all aspects of any innate privilege. That’s not reality, trying to make it would be horribly repressive. I am concerned online access to information to critique ideas and discuss, ability to network and create organizations and groups that counter this stuff in order to resist could be targeted when I hear this stuff. People need to come together and devise ways to counter this, how is the question. I don’t think our current political systems or many media have the interest or stomach and many educational institutions promote implementation of these extreme social philosophies in society.
